Welcome to the discussion page for the Upper Left Corner. You are more than welcome to post any thoughts, feelings or just a general message to the group. Every now and then I may get the urge to purge and move all of the talk to an archive page which is ULC Archive.

Accepted Stance on Zombie Spies

This section is effectivley ULC law and is kept here so all know of it's meaning.

After a few days of discussion, the majority of ULCers agree that killing "zombie spies" is far from cool.

Just because someone looks a little chewed on or that they like being a little chewed on, that doesn't mean they are a zombie spy. If someone announces something along the lines of "OMG, that person has a name with zombie in it!!!1! Kill him, ZOMBIE SPY," be sure to bat them on the nose with a rolled up newspaper and tell them "no." Be firm; if you give in, they will never learn.

There are, however, some instances when it has been decided killing is ok. After a few days of voting, the majority agrees that it is ok to kill PKers and GKers in the Upper Left Corner. Of course, anyone who PKs shouldn't immediately be PKed, because that would start a chain of PKs that would end with everyone in the Upper Left Corner dead - and who would be left to play UDnD then? Use discretion.

The Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010

Stop hand.png Group Inactive?
No reply has been recieved as to whether this group is still active. The 14 days have passed and as such the groups link has been removed from suburb listings. If the group is again active please feel free to revert these changes

Periodically, groups are checked for activity in order to clean the inactive groups from the suburb pages. We'd appreciate it if you could confirm your activity in the game. Aichon 23:52, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Sorry to see the lack of a response. If you guys are still active, feel free to add yourselves back to the listings for the suburbs. Aichon 18:54, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for being patient, I suppose... Yes, we still exist. We do move around, as you should know, which could be why you haven't seen us recently. -S Aline 06:55, 16 July 2010 (BST)

The Big Prick wants to confirm that you are indeed a survivor group...

We are currently operating at Caiger, and we seem to have run into a number of rotters with "ULC" in their group profiles. One in particular, Dedboy (http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=249231), seems to be objecting to our "operations" ('though to call us "Combat Revivers" is a bit of a misnomer, since there isn't any real combat involved in what we're doing). Anyway, we just wanted to confirm whether he's one of yours, or if our two groups are at war, or something. Thanks in advance. Asheets 22:16, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Yep, we're a survivor group! We have a number of zed friends, so if they're causing you trouble, you're probably not offering up the right snack. (They much prefer lady fingers to needle pies, just a suggestion.) -S Aline 06:55, 16 July 2010 (BST)

Hi

ORPHAN.jpg Orphaned Page
The following page(s) were orphaned, meaning they weren't linked from any other page on UDWiki. For house-keeping's sake, we are adding the link onto the relevant talk page. If you don't want the pages anymore just post them on the Deletions Page. You aren't required to do anything, but we'd appreciate if it you kept the link on any one of your pages.

Please note that the link provided below will not remove the page from Orphaned Pages, so you'll still need to manually make a link for us. Thank you.

Thanks --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 18:56, 7 October 2009 (BST)

Thanks for the heads up. We would like to keep our pages the way they currently are, as they are important documentation for our group. Our Wiki page is under constant construction, so they will most likely be linked to a page in the future. -S Aline 06:55, 16 July 2010 (BST)

Re: Live Entertainment For The "Unalive"

We passed through Clapton last night for some of the entertainment! Hope you enjoyed the fun. --Johnny Bass 20:35, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Currently the suburb in question is Yagoton but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a random request but its for all groups regardless of size. Thank you.--Thadeous Oakley 14:48, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi there, folks. I know this may seem a rather strange request, but it's for all groups, regardless of size, to help keep the wiki up to date. Are you all still active and using the frequency? --Jen 01:06, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Yeah we are still around, booze, giraffe porn, extreme ironing, whole nine yards. How we manage to stay alive, is yet still a mystery. --Jelly Otter 16:19, 29 July 2008 (BST)

Southall Mansion

Greetings, ULC. I am DT, of the Philosophe Knights. Long have the Knights held court in Southall Mansion, and long have we bristled at the wiki's description of our hold on Southall, which I believe was written by one or more of your members. I refer, of course, to the 'Factual History' section, which describes the Mansion as belonging to the ULC, although other groups would like to believe that they own it instead.

Because we wish for a less biased and less alienating paragraph, we will be editing the page appropriately. Since we have attempted similar edits in the past, only to have it reverted by some of your members, perhaps we could discuss beforehand the nature of the neutral content which shall replace the misleading sentences. If you do not care what replaces it, know that we will do our best to integrate both your views on the Mansion's history into our own for the most balanced and respectful description. Praise Knowledge. --DTPraise KnowledgePK 07:44, 28 July 2008 (BST)

Since we have received no response to this, I assume that you do not care especially much about what was written, so have taken it upon myself to draft a revision, which is up for discussion on the Southall Talk Page. If you have any comments regarding it, please do not hesitate to put them to words. --DTPraise KnowledgePK 19:45, 30 July 2008 (BST)

MIA

Where are you guys? I have the bearfountain all set up in Caiger/Kegger/Barhah mall. You guys seem to be missing in action though. Guess I'll just have to spend my time getting drunk... ON YOUR ALCOHOL!!!! At least I have the bears for company. --Ironhyde 16:00, 5 May 2008 (BST)

Wanna go Camping?

The Big Prick cordially invites ULC to join us in the wonderful outdoors. Obviously we'd like it if you brought needles, but we also hope you will bring hilarity, hijinks, and spraypaint. Hanging out at a revive point need not be boring, and rolling with The Big Prick means you'd have ample opportunity to practice your trans-mortal dance skills and death-rattle monologues as well as enjoying your normal survivor festivities in the great (if corpse strewn) outdoors before a (not so) live audience.
Oh, and if you need further enticement, let me remind you of one thing. No radio transmitters in the outdoors. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 02:44, 22 May 2008 (BST)

Party Pooping

Radio ULC
Bored an nothing to do? Do you happen to be in a powered building with a
Radio Transmitter or do you happen to have a Portable Radio next to your
20 shotguns, portable generator and first aid kits?
If you do then get that dial tuned to 26.99Mhz!

I'm sorry to say, but 20 shotguns can't be carried. 1 shottie is 8%, and 20x8=160%. Sorry, but it can't be done. 10 shotties and a genny/a few FAK's and a radio might be possible, though.--Rofl. 22:44, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

  • fail, shotguns are 6% encumbrance. --Delta zulu 23:11, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Also.... where are we in school? Mathematics?!?!?! THIS IS THE ULC *punts* --Jelly Otter 23:16, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Actually, they were talking about beercan shotguns, and 20 of those is only 3.3333 six-packs. Plenty of room left over for a portable betamax video camera, a large stuffed giraffe and family-size tub of whale blubber.--A lab monkey 06:20, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Actually, who even cares? :) -S Aline 09:40, 6 April 2008 (BST)

Impostor?

Is Moff Tarkin a real member of the ULC? If so, perhaps you all can talk to him about not killing the survivors who are trying to defend Nichols Mall in Stanbury Village. --Goolina The Kilt Store 18:36, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

  • We have reason to believe he is an alt of Finis and thus is not a representative of the ULC. So if he keeps it up (after the rebuilding of course) feel free to kill him with fire, or show him the door which ever seems more fun to do. --Jelly Otter 16:29, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
  • HAI GUISE. I don't know who this person is... but we're happy to help with some lulz --beeng 90:00 GMT
  • Moff Tarkins membership to the ULC forums was suspended about a month ago. His actions speak only for himself. Any targeting of Moff tarkin will receive absolutely NO retaliation from the ULC. Happy hunting. --Newton pippin 20:20 GMT
  • Perhaps we can turn it into a game! I love games! Don't you?! -S Aline 09:41, 6 April 2008 (BST)

Arg!

Hi, I'm the leader of Ghetto Cow, a group vaguely akin to y'all in terms of insanity (we also are historical, no idea how that happened). Anyway, we are doing a reunion right now and decided to take Moggrigde PD in Ridleybank, the birthplace of the RRF, to bug them or something. Too bad they are on excursion, and there's barely any zombies in the area besides outside Blackmore. So we wanted to invite a few of you up to set up a radio transmitter and broadcast the usual wisdom and the such. Moggridge is like the waaaaay upper left corner of Nichols anyway, and it might annoy the RRF into actually doing something. Well, if ya do decide to come up, it's a pirate-themed party, so bring an eye patch or two!--Lachryma 19:12, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

MMS

Why have you declared war on us? I'd like to know that, as Annoyilator MK II just came in said that we must 'Disband or be destroyed'. I'm hoping it was simply one of Annoyilator's many stupid ideas, or if we are in serious danger of being attacked for no obvious reason, which would get you into the Rogue's Gallery rather quickly. Either tell me he is not really under your orders, or honorably take responsibility for his actions.

Jallus out. --Jallus 20:41, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

  • what I'd like to know, is WHY Jacob Starr has the ULC listed as his group? He's definitely not someone that I would associate with the fun-loving, annoying, yet often funny radio hoggers such as yourselves.PS- And I'll have none of that DVDA business, thank you. --Morgueasm 02:12, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
  • I just checked that profile, and that character does not have ULC listed as his group. This is strange. --ULC Member 12:48, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
    • That is strange as he did last night. Ah, well. Nevermind that then. In anycase, regarding the question about MMS declaring war on the ULC. Not true. We don't declare war on anyone, that would be ridiculous. We're more inclined to FAKing, than killing. We even love our zombies! So, no.. we have nothing against you guys. --Morgueasm 13:42, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

PS- Just received your messages, I am unable to use the IRC thing. My apologies. I figured Mark II was Jack Neon. He's pretty much set on destroying the MMS for some reason or another. We had problems with him regarding the editing of our fan roster..etc etc. I figured he saw the Annoyilator (Whom I added to our fan list)and wanted to mess with us by being Mark II. Anyway, this is silly. Mark II is fueled by hate, right? It's no wonder he'd be stirring up chaos. *shrug* --Morgueasm 14:17, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Club Vagg vip status

The Imagine organization has taken up the management of Malton's premier lesbian nightclub, Club Vagg. This club has a history of putting counter-culture groups on its VIP list (regardless of gender) and the Imagine organization (always a supporter of the counter-culture) is happy to say we have extended VIP status at "The Vagg" to your group.

MPDG

...is a neutral service providing coordination and basic information on the status of PDs across Malton, created thanks to the joint efforts of the Malton Police Department and the Malton Hospitals Group. I would be grateful if you, The Upper Left Corner, would like to contribute to the 'cause' by adding your group to the list and/or by putting the MPDG template on your site. More info on our page.

I would like status as "Supreme Diplomat To the Uneducated Masses of Upper Left Corner", active immediately. We are not pleased with your recent tomfoolery, and urge you to decist in your attempts to frame the pancake drawer by filling it with non-viable cutlery. Greetings from the Gore Corps

I'm pleased to have a few moments to bide away my time in the upper left corner of Dowdney. Too bad those Dribbling Beavers have it in for me, because I just love a good bottle of vodka. If I'm dead (again) before too long, save me a glass - I'll be back before you know it. Cheers! --Goolina Gore Corps 22:18, 13 April 2007 (BST)

This is dedicated to the one I love... You fire at Dr Neko for 5 damage. They die.
Compliments of the Gore Corps - when you care enough to send the very best. --Goolina Gore Corps 01:37, 20 April 2007 (BST)

Is your Radio frequency still in use?

Stop hand.png 2010 Group Radio Activity Query
In order to maintain the wiki as an up to date source of information groups are occasionally removed from the Radio pages when they are no longer active.

Is this group still actively using the frequency specified on the Radio page as theirs? If so simply confirm here by writing something below. If not, it's frequency will be removed from Radio pages in 14 days.

I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience or it seems relatively stupid when put into context of your group, but it is our interest to treat all groups on the same level when doing these purges. A reply within 2 weeks will be greatly appreciated. -- LEMON #1 12:32, 25 August 2010 (BST)

No response has been made in 2 weeks, and as such, your group will be removed from the list. If you come back at a later date and would like to reserve this frequency again, just place it back onto the available frequency of your choice. Thank you. -- LEMON #1 13:35, 8 September 2010 (BST)
