As zombie population continues to rise survivors are reminded to seek and maintain safehouses, do allow VSB entry through nearby buildings since zombies cannot use freerunning. Check the Greentown Barricade Code if you need a reference http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Greentown. Extra patrolmen and local firemen are addressing the concerns of Greentown. The DEM and its affiliates welcome and applaud the courageous efforts of local malita (s) and pro-survivor groups and thier efforts during this time of crisis. Overall, the suburb is looking safe but the hospital under seige in the north makes this borderline moderate. However, the defenders appear to be holding out well, and no other buildings are under attack in the suburb.

The end of the Cookie Siege is messy for survivors. Despite successfully keeping MCM's cookies out of the hands of hungry zombies for 10 days, day 11 looks grim for the protectors of the sugary snacks. After successfully repelling an invasion by the RRF's AU10, just barely beating back Don Tickles only inches from the supply of double chocolate chips, MCM's supporters repelled a combined strike by the RRF's Gore Corps and Team America. The Gore Corps strike was led by Moloch himself, who gunned down the Dean to greedily snatch a handful of iced sugar cookies, and included globule13 and golam, who were spotted gorging themselves on peanut butter bars. Team America made a valiant attempt to swipe whole trays of cookies through the windows, but were barely held off, and whose persistence crippled the defenders' dwindling energy. After hurling all their energy into the cades to stave off Team America, exhausted defenders were unable to hold off a precision strike by the RRF's well-named GMT Breakfast Club, who breakfasted on oatmeal raisin cookies and brains. With the doors open, the rest of the RRF, ferals, and cookie-starved Undeadites poured in, and as cookie-loving survivors watched snickerdoodles and fudge brownies be trod under undead feet, the wails of despair could be heard interspersed with feeding groans. -- 15:23, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

At a quick search of my sorroundings before stubling to sleep I saw very few survivors, and most buildings overbarricaded so that no survivors could enter. However, I have seen little or no zombie presence.<br/>
The Cookie Siege continues, with an average of four baker's dozen zombies drooling outside MCM at any given time! Malton College of Medicine's St. George's Hospital remains under siege by the determined forces of the Undeadites, a horde driven to ravenous rage by the scent of baking snickerdoodles and oatmeal raisin cookies wafting from the kitchen of MCM. Members of a diverse group of defenders, including the Philosophe Knights, the Malton Marshals, Upper Left Corner, Red Rum, the Saints, Malton Medical Staff, Manei Domini, Lesbian Pirates, and many others have all vowed to defend MCM's cookie stash from the hungry horde to the sugar-coated end. Eley Way Police Department

Eley Way Police Department is a derelict grey-stone building surrounded by burnt-out cars. It serves as the Malton Police Department headquarters for Greentown, and is a primary base of operations for District SW-1. All Cops are requested to report in to MPD Command on the forum as soon as possible. Malton Police Department

Please do not over barricade this building! It should be maintained as an accessible safe house and free running entryway, and as such the barricades should be maintained at Very Strongly (VS+2). See the Uniform Barricading Policy for more details.

Current Status

the barricades are strong and the lights are on. But someone has damaged the patrol car parked outside! Detective --Lane grate 10:14, 14 December 2008 (UTC) MPD SW-1

History

This police station didn't actually fall under the command of Greentown PD before the outbreak, as higher crime rates in Tapton, but a lack of space meant they needed a PD but simply couldn't fit one in. So, they built this Police Department over an abandoned wasteland in Greentown, on the border to Tapton. The PD's position right on the border allowed it to respond to disasters in Greentown as well, and thus supplemented the forces of both police forces. -08:56, 9 December 2008 Linkthewindow

Purpose

"To Serve and to Protect" SW Greentown and her neighbors.

Located in the southwest quarter of Greentown. This small but proud station house has a equally proud tradition and place in Malton history. The Malton Police Department and the Department of Emergency Management would like the citizens of Malton know that our ranks are always open to those who want to make a difference here. Barricading Policy

Uniform Barricading Policy suggests that since the Police Station is an essential resource building, it should be barricaded to Very Strongly Barricaded +2 (which means, barricade it up unto the point where it says "further barricading will prevent people from entering" and stop so that people without free running can still enter).--Alice Cuinn 07:00, 4 June 2007 (BST)

Eley Way Police Department is a Proud supporter of UBP by actively maintaining barricades according to local plan or UBP standard. Hospitals, Police and Fire Depts should be kept at VS. DO NOT OVER-BARRICADE. If you feel exposed in a VS building, move out of these resource buildings. Over barricading locks other people outside. It could be you looking for a VS block one day. When a building is under siege by three or more zombies, barricade limitations may be temporarily ignored, but should be returned to the preferred condition as soon as the immediate threat is alleviated. September 25th At least 42 zombies on the streets. Most of these (28) are focussed at the NecroTech (the Hebditch Building) and the immediate surrounding area of central TRPs. Ruination is most frequent in the north. Breakdown of the Tactical Resource Points:

 • 1 NecroTech: ruined.
 • 3 Police depts: 1 powered, 2 not.
 • 4 hospitals: 3 powered, 1 not.
 • 1 factory: powered.
 • 4 auto repairs: 1 ruined, 3 without power.

Moderate, verging on Dangerous (especially if more TRPs fall). --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 21:35, 25 September 2008 (BST)

August 14th The MoB appears to have headed Eastward toward Williamsville, and survivors are beginning to repair the area. There remains scattered zombie activity, and PK'er groups like the Late Night TV Crue have resumed coordinated activities against the inhabitants of St. Alexander's hospital and their supporters. The mall is starting to repopulate, and is solidly in survivor hands. --Sarah Silverman 14:07, 14 August 2008 (BST)
