Greentown is a suburb of Malton, located in the south of the city. Before the outbreak it was a fairly calm suburb. Many retired citizens made their homes here and in 1998 a group of volunteers built St. Holy's Church, named after Margaret Holy, a wealthy heiress who donated a significant portion of her fortune to local charities.

Greentown is noteworthy for having no NT buildings and only one hospital, which only one other suburb can claim. This seems to be because it was the most religious suburb in Malton, boasting no less than 6 churches. Citizens of Greentown were atypically devout, and therefore believed that God would protect them and shunned worldly cures.

During the outbreak, many of Greentown's citizenry decided to stay in Malton and do good works, but many more decided to form paramilitary groups and "cleanse the city of its unholy blight".

May 25th Overbarricading has again risen like bad cabbage.... please remember to follow the suburb guidelines and barricade properly. Don't Panic and overcade the entrances, The life you save could be your own someday. Detective Lane grate MPD 11:11, 25 May 2008 (BST)

Greentown is improving, but still risky. Still losing buildings and survivors, but revives are faster and zed presence is moderate where I am. All in all, not too terrible for survivors at this moment. --Violet B 15:20, 1 May 2008 (BST)

It seems that a horde is coming from Brooksville. I suspect that this is the horde wich took the Ackland Mall recentily. There are 50 or more zombies in the Flooks Bulding and they are heading to this side. They will cross the border around 10 A.M. Another suburb falling in the hands of the dead. Who knows if they wants to do a Game Over to Malton and kill every survivor? --Aldo dinho 03:36, 15 April 2008 (BST)

We need help at St. George's Hospital there are a few zombies in here there are 61 survivors in here please help us we need help. Jhero2 7:30 P.M.

St. George's has 20+ inside now and barricades at loosely, with more zombies outside flowing southward into the suburb. The southern end of the suburb may be safer than the very dangerous north if barricades are watched closely. No doubt the horde will head to the mall to party on.--Violet B 04:01, 16 April 2008 (BST)

Several resource buildings in the northwestern section of the suburb are in the hands of the horde. The survivors inside St. George's Hospital are being overrun by 40+ zombies. Dixon Way Police Department and Polwhiele Way Fire Station are both in ruins. The resource buildings in the southwestern corner are still in survivor hands though. --The Masked Lurker 05:56, 16 April 2008 (BST)

This morning (EST) St. George's was in ruins, and so was every building I stopped at between Polywheile Fire Station and St George's Hospital. By this evening two safehouses in Mist Alley School and Lerwill Towers were also ruined, resulting in my death. I didn't see any huge mobs, the largest was 11 outside of the ruined hospital. This is approaching Ghost Town, IMHO. --Silas Morth 21:28, 16 April 2008 (EST)

External Military report: "... flying over Greentown, can see a couple of dozen on the streets ... they're just wandering around ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... can't see a single ruined building ..."Fingle 21:31, 9 April 2008 (BST)
