Havercroft is a suburb of Malton.

Havercroft is situated just northwest of the city centre and is tactically important due to the fact that Ackland Mall is situated here. Although there are no NecroTech buildings in the suburb itself, there are a good amount of other resource buildings for residents to take advantage of, especially the numerous fire stations.

With a decent array of clubs, libraries, the mall and a museum, Havercroft was a popular district for shoppers, clubbers and students. Numerous train links also provided residents easy access in and out of the suburb. Havercroft was an important industrial zone for the city, although not nearly as much as Richmond Hills in the north.

Zombies have taken over Ackland Mall. Even PKers were targeted by the horde. At this time, only 70 zombies inside, since they seem to be spreading to the adjacent buildings. Further updates are forthcoming... --FLZombie 18:25, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

Havercroft has numerous lit and heavily barricaded buildings, no doubt thanks to the snowball effect. The repair activity has attracted the attention of the Militant Order of Barhah. Advance teams from that horde have already hit a few buildings in the eastern side of the suburb. Heavy casualties have been sustained by those stationed at Moseley Plaza Police Department and Maria General Hospital. Those structures looked ruined from the outside at this time, and it can be safely assumed that there are no survivors there now. --FLZombie 02:45, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Havercroft is in the process of recovering. Ackland Mall is no longer operating there are around 40 zeds in side feasting on the last few brave survivors. Though there are several buildings surrounding it up an running. Local resource buildings are in the process of being reclaimed. The ZAF is currently held up in the Sands Building contributing to the fight for Havorcroft. Still dangerous but more then survivable. Havercroft was the first stop of The Snowball, a survivor movement spearheaded by the NMC. If you'd like to join in the cause visit here.--User: Dylan Widener 18:13, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

Havercroft is in utter disrepair. Despite mainly ferals occupying the mall and surrounding area, survivors are constantly repelled and can not gain a foothold. This is the longest Ackland has been down since the Dead attacked, and unless some coordination happens on survivors' part, the suburb could remain a dead zone for a very long time. --Russell Oakley 21:49, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

November 05th

Ackland Mall is 3/4 ruined with 45 standing zombies inside the remains of the mall. The remaining 10 harmanz in the unruined SE corner will be fortunate to last the night. Hail! Eris! Discord! --Mad Pierre 19:35, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Acklands mall is back online and so are many of the surrounding buildings thanks to the valiant efforts of The Malton Rangers. Life is slowly returning to Havercroft as the Crimson Clan and AMS resume reviveing people at the revive points.. --Alex1guy 16:23, 26 October 2008 (BST)

The Ridleybank Resistance Front and friends have destroyed the suburb. Consider it extremely dangerous territory for survivors. --Papa Moloch 00:03, 18 October 2008 (BST)

The Ridleybank Resistance Front have commenced the Havercroft leg of their March of the New Flesh tour by ruining one corner of Ackland Mall. Suburb danger updated to Dangerous. --Papa Moloch 04:57, 14 October 2008 (BST)

At least 53 zombies on the streets, and 42 of those are besieging the northwest corner of Ackland Mall, which is fully powered. All of the suburb's remaining 12 Tactical Resource Points are powered, except for a single Auto Repair Shop. Most of the remainder of the suburb is also powered.

Given the lack of any ruination, and with only the mall under serious assault, and by under 50 zombies, this is (for the moment) a Moderate danger level. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 18:03, 29 September 2008 (BST)

September 21st

Ackland Mall is taking a brutal beating in the NW corner from a huge horde of zombies. I don't think this suburb should be anything lower than yellow. The surrounding buildings in the suburb are generally in good shape and are safe, but the mall is dealing with the majority of the 'burb's zeds. Nyrwind 15:44 21 September 2008 (BST)

September 14th

Havercroft is now up and running but zombie activity is still high. Acklands mall is powered and populated with a few break-in's every-so-often courtesy of the annoying mob of blood seekers outside. The revive points are mostly clear. I think that the district should be down-graded yellow. Alex1guy 17:26 14 September 2008 (BST)

Barricade Plan

A barricade plan proposed by the survivor group Lime Brigade can be found here. Barricade plans are not intended to display the current state of a building's barricades, but rather the level to which survivors agree a building should be barricaded under normal conditions.

A zombie barricade plan can be found here.
