Talk:Why Caiger Mall Fell

• You forget the 100+ humans that were inside the Latrobe Building. Inside those five squares, there were no less than 700 humans defending Caiger Mall before our first attack against Latrobe. And the situation did, in fact, get a lot better for Caiger: at the height of the Third Siege, Caiger Mall had 1150+ humans inside it. The morning after we were able to break through Caiger's barricades for the first time, there were 550+ humans in the southeast corner _alone_! So don't blame the loss of Caiger Mall on not having enough personnel to get the job done: humans outnumbered our Horde by more than 4-to-1, even at our best.

• As far as Caiger Mall not being what it used to be: our Horde is too young to know from first-hand experience, but Ron Burgundy has already said as much. And from what I understand, Caiger has squandered a lot of good will: barricade-zerging during the first two sieges caused many of the larger zombie groups to swear off Caiger altogether. Even after the first two sieges failed, the humans just sat in their fortress, doing nothing interesting; apparently that was enough fun to satisfy them.

• If you're looking for an excuse on why Caiger fell, the defenders have only themselves to blame. Aside from Caiger's defenders outnumbering us more than 3-to-1 at all times, humans outclass zeds in terms of damage-per-AP, defensive and healing capabilities. Inside Caiger, humans enjoy easy access to all resources except a select few (generators, fuel, Necrotechs). But apparently that wasn't enough of an advantage, because the humans continued their barricade-zerging continued throughout our campaign. We didn't give up, though : we forged alliances with other groups, and ultimately prevailed because our Horde possesses two vital resources Caiger lacked: teamwork and friends.

• In the end, this game is all about having fun. Attacking Caiger wasn't a lot of fun for a lot of other hordes -- hell, a lot of our own Horde members were frustrated with the situation. But whereas others just ignored the problem, we decided to tackle it head-on -- and we won. Eventually, we will leave the burnt-out husk that is Caiger Mall and humans will reclaim it. But I don't see why: if Caiger Mall is a symbol of anything, it's a symbol of arrogance, poor teamwork and failure. And frankly, that's everything Shacknews isn't about. I'd like to add something about sieging techniques. I'm a raider for the EF and it is our explicit policy to use feeding drag above killing the survivors ourselves. That way we add the power of the unaffiliated zombies more effective than the feeding groan could. But in a big siege like Caiger, where you have more than 3 active defenders for every ap you spend yourself feeding drag is not an option. It doesn't work with closed doors for one, and the barricades are closing fast behind you.

Fun fact about the "third siege of Caiger" it is actually the fourth. The last time Caiger was under pressure was in July as members of an alliance of smalltime groups tried to take the mall without the major hordes. There were around 300 zombies involved but due to the lack of communication and support the whole ordeal ended after only one and a half weeks time. It's probably not really important but I think it's worth a subnote in the UD book of History. --Obeah-Man 12:32, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Were there many other former-survivors like myself who simply got fed up with the endless crying and gave themselves up to the horde in order to join in the siege? You can only hear the words "SPREAD OUT OMFGZZ!!!" so many times before you want to kill something. I used to be very pro-survivor, but all the major malls have turned into endless battles among non-entities trying to assert themselves over everyone else with barricade policies that make no sense, constant whining about survivor concentration, wasting AP on the radios by sending the same message 37 times, etc. The day the NW corner of Caiger fell I simply went outside and let the zeds go at it so I could get right back up and have some fun (which I did, and how), and I wouldn't be surprised if there were others who did the same. intooblv 16:57, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Frankly, this is (IMO) one of the other major reasons for the success of this seige. People keep pointing out that the revive lines were surprisingly short. I think it's quite likely that a lot of fallen survivors just decided to rise up and defect to the zombie side of things. As to the exact numbering of the mall sieges: As with most things about Caiger, nobody took the initiative to record them. That would be fine with me. I just don't think it's entirely fair to chalk the entire fall of the mall up to laziness on the part of the survivors, which it sounds like a lot of people are doing (not you - just an observation). Granted, a lot of people did kind of just mill around and ignore the warnings, but I think it should be made more clear that overaction (new word? - lol) is just as much of a problem as inaction. There was way too much yelling and politicking and not enough recruiting (which I rarely saw, and never once saw done well), encouragement, and logical thinking. It's no wonder the revive lines were short - who wants to be brought back into a situation that sucks even if you win? I just don't think it can be made clear enough that yelling at people is no way to get things done, and sometimes you should shut up and be willing to think for a minute and absorb ideas other than your own. Caiger turned into a melting pot of two major types of individuals - loners who were there for the security and supply advantage of a mall and not looking to get recruited and yelled at (myself included), and loudmouths who never ceased jamming the radios with orders, threats, poor recruiting slogans, and sensitive information (no, zombies can't hear radios, but spies can - don't make everything so easy for them) and who ultimately accomplished nothing. This is not a winning combination. Many loners simply left, which cannot be blamed - no need to stick around if it's not your own turf. People forget that just being in Caiger Mall doesn't mean you have to care what happens to it. After the NW corner was breached, survivor numbers fell far to quickly to be attributed entirely to casualties. People bailed. My initial respnse

And I'm only speaking for myself here, as I was in the original analysis. The exact numbers are, of course, debatable to no end when no one took the time to record such things. I thought I made clear in the original post that the fall of Caiger was as much the Survivors' fault as the Zeds'. What I'm trying to do is not the excuse but the reason, as such your side's input is highly valued. If there is a bias, well, as a pro-survivor player, I can't be blamed too much. Events are still fresh. The real truth of the fall has yet to be hammered out.

And as I said before, there's little in your rebuttal I don't see reflected in the original posting as to my thoughts on why Caiger fell. I hope that means that I had enough perspective that my thoughts were leaning towards the truth despite my personal preference for the survivors. Here's hoping we have equally civil discussions in the future (as opposed to some persons' contribuitions).

• You keep questioning the number of survivors at the start of the siege. And I'm telling you, there were 600 humans in the mall and 100 more in Latrobe before we began our assault. Unlike many of these humans -- some of whom have the gall to claim that they didn't actually lose at Caiger Mall -- we have no reason to exaggerate the numbers, because they're impressive enough to us as-is. I'll see if anybody managed to get a screenshot... but even then, there's probably no datestamp, and I'm guessing that still wouldn't be enough proof.

• Obviously, the Shacknews Horde is having a great time role-playing zombies right now. But we're not married to the idea of being zombies: in fact, at some point going forward we may very well change sides and give the human experience a try. And that's the difference between CMS and Shacknews: we're genuinely not biased towards one side or the other. I know that most of our Horde holds Ron Burgundy and the Channel 4 News Team in very high regards: C4NT operates within the generally-accepted parameters of the game, and they improve the game by having fun with it, just like we try to do. CMS seems to have taken itself way too seriously and, for many of the reason you already outlined, it cost them dearly.

• In the end, we're just in this game for the fun, challenge and comraderie of it. But it annoys the Horde to not be given credit where credit is due -- it is, simply put, not classy. Lack of credit is what drove us to Caiger Mall in the first place, and you saw how that turned out. If there's one lesson to be had from all this, it's probably humility: if Caiger Mall couldn't count on classy groups like the Channel 4 News Group to save it, that doesn't say much about the caliber of the role-players inside. • I think the article is a pretty good analysis. Other than the part about Feeding Drag (which another zombie addressed above) it seemed to be pretty on-target and I didn't feel any zombie-bashing was going on. Of course, as a zombie sometimes I can't feel the bashing because my nerve endings have decayed. :( Anyway I think it's quite true that we would have had a much much bigger fight at Caiger if the survivors had been organized rather than relying on their meatshield zerg, barricade bots, and Caiger mystique. • Exact numbers were never recorded and I was guestimating. In any case, like you said, it doesn't matter too much because Survivors did always have the numbers advantage. But the numbers always were much (600 or more) less than in the past 2 major sieges. If you look back I wasn't blaming numbers as much as I was blaming the survivors. And I absolutely agree with your summation of the CMS these past few months ("arrogance, poor teamwork, and failure"). That's pretty much what I was saying in the article. I've actually been thinking about renaming Caiger during the last siege "Maginot Mall." I was in no way trying to excuse away the siege, or bash Shacknews. If there are specific parts of the article you think I did this point them out and I'll think about revising.

As for giving credit. It would have been easy to just say "the zombies did it" or "Shacknews did it" but the point of the article was to go over the differences in the survivor defense compared to the other sieges. And there were differences, and they did work to the zombies' advantage. Shacknews took the corner for the ferals. But as the article says, that doesn't mean the Caigerites couldn't still have done something about it. They could have kept the siege rolling long enough for the syringe pinch to hurt and defender numbers start to drop. As a defender, I can agree with this article. But realize without being anything special, those who try to organise (and there were such people) are just weak voices without real effect. Also it's a pity that the above view is so widely shared, as it casts a shadow on those on who it doesn't apply. I have no idea about the real behind-the-scenes cheating going on (does anybody really?), but I'd be dismayed if it would be as large a percentage as seems to be commonly held. The Symmetrical/Asymmetrical Approach to UD

As I stated elsewhere, I only arrived at Caiger in the last week and fought on both sides depending on my life condition. I know nothing about barricade bots or massive zerging, but I condemn both those tactics 100%. I will conceed that Shacknews indeed had excellent tactics, organization, and determination. I will conceed that most survivors were lazy, self-centered, and disorganized. Ignoring the above, the question which lingers in my mind is this; Is there any tactic that can stand against a massively organized and timed assault by either survivor or zombie?

UD is designed as a game where each player/character has a limited action per time period (48 Action Points/day max. 50 points). Even the weapons are min/maxed to approximate parity. The choice of how to use one's AP is ultimately up to the player. Is there a strategy that can effectly counter a 'rush attack' by large numbers of well organized players against a comperable number of randomly logged in players? ( Short of pre-twentieth century style warfare of "Meet me on the field of such-and-such @ such-and-such time. Firing will begin one hour later...)

Adding to this issue is the idea of 'free' players vs. 'paid' players, and the number of screen checks each can make in a 24 hour period. In a situation like Caiger does this exacerbate the issue? ( I have unrelated, uncooperating characters subject to and exempt from the IP limit.)

I am criticizing neither approach in this post, and eagerly look forward to a lively but civilized discussion. Ignatz 02:10, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

• In my opinion, the survivors have had a fair chance and always will. Together with two friends of mine I make the statistical analysis of our group's attack odds and such, for our forum, and based on the information given on the wiki every survivor has a barricade advantage on any given zombie of at least three to one. That's to say the odds that a survivor may add a barricade level are three times higher than a zombie raizing a level. If you now regard the fact that in almost every major siege the game has seen, survivors outnumbered zombies anyway, there is a significant disadvantage the zombies have to overcome somehow. That's the reason why massive meta-gaming is needed on the zombie's side to achieve anything. I was in many fights against active defenders and I can tell you this much, three strave-barricading survivors can easily twart an attack of 10-15 zombies. Some make will make inside yes, but barely with enough ap to do more than infect the barricaders. The Caigerites could have fallen back into other buildings, heal jump back in and barricade more, it would have taken very few defenders active at any given time, and infact this is what they always have done (backed up of course by legions of trenchcoaters running around and shooting aped out zombies for no apperent reason). The reason why the Mall fell is in my opinion simply because they have been bested in this fight. --Obeah-Man 11:58, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

There really isn't much survivors can do against a large metagaming assault. Lets say 100 zombies attack the mall. That's 5,000 AP, 5,000 attacks on the barricades, 1,250 of which will succeed (assuming all zombies are at 50% claw). That's enough to break down 73 EHB barricades. If creating an EHB barricade costs 40AP on average, that's 2,920 AP, or 58 survivors, needed to counter that assault. This gives us a defender:attacker ratio of about 3:5. In previous sieges, the numbers of zombies attacking together was small enough to be pushed back by the normal active population. With the huge strikes Shacknews has been using, the active population isn't enough, and the zombies can get inside. The sensible thing in this situation would be to continue barricading anyway, but this being an imperfect world, people will stop to fight the zombies. The barricades can't be kept up, and enough get inside to start dealing out damage to the defenders. 20AP fighting goes a long way when there's 50 of you doing it. If only 20 zombies-worth of AP are needed to get the horde inside, that's a staggering 4,000 AP of fighting time for the rest - enough to do 6,000 HP claw damage and kill a whopping 100 60hP survivors. And that's with 100 zombies. The Shacknews forces have more tahn double that.

A well diciplined force that a)is pretty damn big, b) knows when the assault will come, c)is able to get most or all of their members online at that time, and d) can get them to barricade and not fight could have beaten the Caiger attackers. this force has yet to surface; but neither had a force like Shacknews before they turned up. --Preasure 13:09, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Yes, even though I don't believe that it takes an avarage of 40 ap to create a max barricade, it is true that the survivors couldn't resist the Shacknews horde (obviously). What I tried say was an answer as to why I don't believe there was any unfairness in the use of meta-gaming. Without a massive coordinated attack, where all the factors you rightly named, play to the zombies favour, a zombie simply couldn't win any moderate and big sieging scenario, because inately the odds lie with the survivors.

Shacknews and their allies have overpwered Caiger because of the points you made above, however I stand by my opinion that survivors had a fair chance. For one, I know that a 50% (and 60% when grabbed) hit chance doesn't really mean that you hit every second time, (especially when attacking active characters it is significantly less) but that's just on the side and shouldn't be percieved as the centre of my argumantation. More importantly the survivors could have made a better effort of defense. If you don't have the 50 active survivors that are needed to completely shut the 100 zombies outside (which your analysis suggests, and I agree) than you can try your best to cost them as many ap as possible. Strave barricading and retreat for heals just to jump back in costs the zombies dearly. Besiegers will always fight the actives first and every FAK is worth 10 more hp of meatshield that the zombies have to overcome. And of course if you have your 50 active defenders and you are able to anul the fighting force of a coordinated 100 zombie attack, that days effort to storm the 'cades would be pretty much over, not to mention that it would crush the moral of any horde, and I have to say, this was my third time at Caiger and I've seen that happening before.

With more organization and support Caiger would have withstood a fourth time. It didn't because Shacknews and allies proved to be the better fighters. --Obeah-Man 15:02, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Preasure You like playing with hypothetical numbers, ok lets go.

Assuming only hypothetical 300 zombies attacking the mall and there are no barricades at all, each zombie has 50 AP and a ratio of 50% to hit, every survivor in the mall has 60HP and is doing nothing whatsoever. With 1300 survivors inside of Cagier it would have taken these highly hypothetical zombies 3 fucking days to clear out the apathetic survivors. That's a lot of time even for the mentaly challanged to counter act. But the survivors are not suffering from apathy and there where a lot more zombies present – so, like your numbers, these don’t really say anything at all. I don’t even think you number crunching is correct, but if it were you just mathematically proofed barricade bots in the last sieges, for it is simply impossible for randomly and even slightly organised groups to counter your hypothetical 73 EHB barricades level eating zombies. --Demolition 15:46, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

What Shacknews was able to do is just brutal. Being able to smash the barricades and get 50-100 zombies inside within a minute or two is virtually uncounterable. The only weakness they had was publicly posted attack times, though they did some magic to make them difficult to find. Anyway, how realistic is it to expect survivors to constantly monitor the barricades? A handful are likely to be doing so, but 20-50 at the same time? Constantly on watch? It's just not feasible. Zombies have the initiative in UD, Shacknews is just the first group to take advantage of it on such a grand scale. The survivors at Caiger were able to put the zombies out after the attacks, but at great cost to AP and ammunition. Not being able to stop the zombies from getting inside in the first place, and in such great numbers, was the downfall of Caiger Mall. If it were just Shacknews, perhaps even the inefficient defence could have held out given the numerical superiority of the survivors. The arrival of the other hordes and feral zombies really tipped the balance as the constant attacks simply wore the defenders out. I'm not sure that such a large coordinated attack actually can be countered. Lacking knowledge of the attack time, it would take scores of defenders actively monitoring the barricades to keep them out. Now, plenty of us spend too much time on UD, but how many of us spend hours just clicking "refresh"? Not likely. Lacking that, it's a matter of simply having enough survivors to do it the inefficient way of killing the zeds, dumping them out - 1 at a time now, and reviving the fallen. Say what you like about how much better survivors are than zombies, but barricades are the equalizer. If survivors can't keep the zombies out, UD is a different game. But isn't that the point? UD already is another game! Haven't initially "the Many" taught us that no stronghold is secure for an organized mobile horde? The only reason I see why survivors haven't accepted this a long time ago was Caiger, the undefeatable. My statement wasn't directed at how overpowered barricades are! If that is what people get from the text than excuse me, maybe I can't make the point clear because english is a little difficult for me. I'm saying that ever since big hordes started to roam the city no large ammount of survivors in one location is safe! The whole thing that happened was in part the fault of survivors inability to re-think their game, as the zombies have done a long time ago. (As I pointed out, uncoordinated zombies haven't the slightest chance aginst a stronghold) I still, stand by my point that there was a fair chance of success for survivors. More organisation, more help from their allies, new strategies. (at some point evecuating the mall to regroup somewhere else would have worked wonders, read the art of being boring somewhere on this wiki, but that wouldn't work into the mindset of most survivor players) It could have been done, it didn't. Oh, I didn't mean to disagree with you, Obeah-Man. I was just adding my thoughts. I will agree that the survivors had a chance, but I honestly don't know right now what can be done to counter such an attack. Toward the end, there were grand strategy sessions coming together, but it was too late. It wasn't even a lack of revives that broke Caiger. We took a count in the mall on the 9th just 5-7 hours before the final attack. There were 957 survivors in the mall. After 2 weeks of being pounded every night it was a matter of being out of supplies and having to spend a lot of AP to maintain the barricades against constant attack from ferals and smaller groups. Even 1 week into the siege mall population was still high, but there were a lot of wounded survivors - probably from 100-200 or more - due to lack of FAKs and AP to use them.

That being said, the general population of Caiger was very unorganized and inefficient and there just weren't large, coordinated groups of survivors picking up the slack. I was active during many attacks, especially in Latrobe, and saw way too many people come in and start killing zombies DURING the attack. I was spending AP to maintain the barricades and I'd usually see at least 10 people come in and start shooting. When I ran out of AP, 30-40 more zombies would pour in. If those 10 people would have worked the barricades, things might have been different. The organized groups that did join the defence just didn't have the numbers to make the difference. While trying to make the CMS try to see reason on thier forums, one guy said (And I quote) "As long as there are people inside caiger & surrounding buildings caiger will not fall. Ive heard that caiger will fall so many times, that my ears are bleeding." Meatshields can only take you so far. Caiger 3 proved that. The zombies obviously deserve it more than the survivors do. And that's pretty much the truth, Sonny. That's why CMS-Meta was formed in the first place. Meta being for metagaming and all. Those of us in Meta and the CMS members that actually worked with us account for 5-10% of CMS membership if we're lucky. All the other CMSers are just random people with CMS as their group as far as we know. I guess I shouldn't take all this "CMS sux" stuff personally, since it doesn't really apply to me, but I can't help it. Labine50, while we did have a member or 2 who made some bold statements, don't believe for a second that all we did was sit on our backsides and expect to magically survive. I sent out a call far and wide for the defence of Caiger and spent long hours coordinating with those groups who did send help. Our combined efforts were the reason Latrobe lasted as long as it did, and we were some of the last defenders when it did fall. As for the fall of Caiger, give Shacknews credit where it's due. Getting pounded night after night over the course of 2 weeks wore the defenders out. It wasn't even the revives. There were some 900 people in the mall when it fell. They were simply out of AP and ammunition. I would also like to point out, Labine, that your version of sense was warning us to flee the mall. The CMS has NEVER been nor ever will be a group of extreme organization. Also, we have NO PURPOSE outside of a siege of Caiger Mall, or, now, when the mall is in the hands of zombies. We are a group that is strong, however our leadership is in the hands of all those who join. Certain people have risen to the task of being very effective leaders, these people including Peter Steele and Scottyboy. However, this does NOT mean we were not organized. We did not plan on public forums for a large number of reasons, mostly due to the problem of zombies reading it. I would blame the fact that most of Caiger is not NOT effective survivor characters, mostly people leaching off it's safety. Many people have joined in order to restore that safety. As for our wiki page, well, I must say, while it is out of date, it was not a priority. I attempted to draw people in, but we mostly recruited ingame. Some valid points

However, one large area of disagreement- prior to ransack, there was no point to squatting on Necrotech buildings. Cleaning them out and sitting in them simply provided targets for strafers, and those who needed syringes could simply free-run in, search, and dance out. On the off chance there were any actives in there, a little BOOM-HEADSHOT would take care of them quickly. Furthermore, comparing this siege to prior sieges operationally is not entirely apropos given the changes in game structure between each siege. The initial strike on Caiger during the first siege was a combined Undying Scourge/Anti-Celebrity Task Force attack that cleared the NW corner, for example, and with the combined effects of ransack, large building functionality, and the fact that no survivor organization was present at that point, we would've just streamed in and killed everyone in fairly short order.

But that's ancient history. What's news is that Shacknews took the trophy that the rest of us had given up on. They've earned their glory and immortality.

I'm digging that for once we're all pretty much in agreement on something (the failings of the CMS and survivors in the last siege). I may pull some of the brighter comments (especially from the bigger names) and put them in a contributors section on the main page. Hats off to the Shacknews horde for doing what so many tried to do and failed before them. It really is impressive and a historic day for Malton.

To the pro-zombie side, you'd be fooling yourselves if you believed that the recent game changes had nothing to do with the fall of Caiger. The fact that a ransacked building can't be rebarricaded until it's cleared out and repaired meant that once one corner of the mall had been cleared and ransacked, the seige was over.

To the pro-survivor side, you'd be fooling yourselves if you believed that the recent game changes had everything to do with the fall of Caiger. The lack of organization and strategy meant that as soon as things started getting hairy, survivors started bailing instead of helping.

If the survivors learn one thing from this slaughter, I hope it's this...Caiger means nothing. The mythology and the history are great for local color, but there's no weight to the perception that it's the last stronghold of the survivors. Of course, the number of NT buildings near Caigar (providing the only resource unavailable in the mall) made it an ideal fortress- but not impregnable. The CMS used to be dedicated, and put up one hell of a fight at Caigar II, trouncing the Mall Tour. Co-ordinated strikes every night mean nothing then- there were simply enough dedicated, intelligent survivors to check in every half hour and barricade like hell if there was an attack. The barricades would go from open to EHB in about 15 seconds during the raids on the library- that's hardcore. I personally found myself inside Caigar 3 times in this latest siege, and that was from just logging on randomnly and hammering the barricades. I was there 3 nights, and got in three times, none of them part of a mass raid. (As far as I know.) All the best survivors got sick of the Caigar hype and moved to more interesting battles (like Bearpit, Blackmore, etc). It's not just Hordes who can get bored. In fact, I'd say that the radio was the biggest single reason for the fall of Caigar in terms of game mechanics- it caused so much grief for the breathers that the smart ones left Caigar. Once it turned into a symbol, propped up by belief instead of hard work and good players, it was a perfect target for a truly organised horde, and Shacknews was that horde. They had the guts, organisation and stomach for the trenchcoatery to utterly trash Caigar. Hats off to them. --not_themilkybarkid

Caiger: the Mall Who Cried Wolf

To all the people wondering why no survivor reinforcements came for Caiger, here's my perspective, having a couple of survivor alts that wander around the city and keep their fingers on the pulse of popular opinion: Caiger lost its credibility. In between the 2nd and 3rd sieges, calls would go out from Caiger every time a single zombie was spotted in the area. People would go to check it out, see that there was nothing, get annoyed, and dismiss the Caigerites as a bunch of pansies.

When the call went out at the start of the 3rd siege, the reaction that my survivors saw in other malls was that this was just another small group of ferals wandering through, and that Caiger was once again getting all worked up over nothing. Even when it became clear that the mall was in real danger, the opinion of Caiger was so low among other survivor groups that most were indifferent, and a few were actually rooting for the zombies to clear those worthless mall rats out of their hole. --Graaaaaaagh 02:19, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I returned back to UD after a pretty long time I had taken off, Only to find Caiger under some sort of seidge...I figured CMS would once again rise to the challenge and repel the invading zombies, but nothing happened is what I heard. To be honest, I'm not shocked at all. Caiger's popularity as a mall to support as Graaaaaaagh had pointed out was very low. I'm A little dissapointed that the RRF were not able to do what Shacknews has done, but that goes w/o saying RRF was maybe spread out a little to thin, like many Survivor groups had done on many occasions. Plus nobody, AND I MEAN NOBODY really wanted to take Caiger back...SO put 2+2 together and you get the reason why Shacknews was able to deal the damage they were able to deal. Wow. That is really sad. I read about half of it, and shook my head. One part, where someone was yelling "Latrobe is under attack!! Help us! Get the **CK out of the SE corner!" and then someone just goes "im a cow mooooo ^_^" it was soooo saddening. If my characters didn't have survivor skills, I'd have them become zombies right now.
