The Abandoned are a survivor group based in and around the suburbs of Yagoton and Millen Hills. The team originated from a popular abandonware website known as Abandonia. One of their predominant goals is to keep the Yagoton Revivification Clinic safe. The group is currently helping out at the clinic and maintaining the defense of both suburbs, among other things instituting a barricade plan for both Yagoton and Millen Hills.

Non-NPOV statement

The Abandoned are, by a MotA horseman's words, "a tougher fight than most". The Abandoned do not believe in direct orders, they use guidelines and rules to guide their members' conduct. The Abandoned does not approve of PKing, and its members are encouraged to do community tasks rather then hunt PKers. The Abandoned does not believe in the 'big' Urban Dead politics, which mainly consists of making accusations and people using templates as shields against them. We try to stay out of them... although after all these months, we seem to have failed.

We have made enemies, the greatest of which are our arch rivals, the Neon Knights. Our rivalry goes so far back it has for our part almost become a form of friendship, and we have respect for most of them (although we'll still take them down whenever we get the chance). Any other enemy is no more then a minor nuisance. We don't try to turn them from the game, everyone has a right to play as they see fit as long as they don't ruin the game for others. We'll fight them when and if we feel like it.

Someone or something by the name of "Halkor" has been attacking Abandoned members, claiming that they were on "KOS" lists, that they were marked for termination by Doubler, or that they were "text-rapists". Let it be known that Halkor is not, was not, and for that matter probably never will be part of The Abandoned.

8 March 2008

First entry of the year. Everything been pretty quiet on this journal for a while, and for good reason: The Abandoned do not like to discuss openly of what they do when crisis such as the Big Bash 2 happen in their suburb. Users who usually update this journal are also increasingly busy, mostly with RL issues, so this is why I am here. Or back here, if you players are old enough to remember me from 2005/2006. :)

Now, to business. The popularity of The Abandoned being such that it attracts the utmost jerks all around Malton to try to stop us from doing our usual help job as much as possible. Griefers (PKers, GKers and the like) appeared in increasingly higher numbers all over our home and surrounding suburbs in the past few months. If not in the past few years... As such, rumors originating from radio transmissions are spreading that The Abandoned and/or the YRC disbanded after Yagoton been ransacked by the bash. This is, of course, completely false and is ridiculous radio propaganda, like 98% of everything coming out of that radio for that matter. The Abandoned is pretty much alive at the moment and is regularly gaining ground where they are stationed. --Eagle of Fire 19:30, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

As of June 13, 2008, Brumenor, Second in Command of the Abandoned, has resigned from his position due to real life catching up with him. We wish him best in the other, zombie-free world, and hope that he will drop by on occasion (alive, hopefully). Rohndogg1, leader of the Alpha Wolves division of The Abandoned and newbie trainer, will be taking his place. I would like to congratulate Rohndogg1 on his promotion, and he promises to do his best as always in his new role.

In other news, as a reminder to all pro-survivor and bounty hunter groups, please double check with us as much as possible before attempting to take on a "bounty" on any Abandoned member. I can say with certainty that the grand majority of all bounties on officially registered members of the Abandoned were the work of well-known Pker groups (the Columbine Kids and the La liberation de Yagoton, to name a few) that realized they couldn't beat us fairly, and attempted to use bounty hunters as lackeys for their murderous deeds. --Private Mark 19:42, 24 June 2008 (BST)

We would like to make it clear that the survivor known as "a retarded person", ID = 665749, is not and will never be a member of The Abandoned. He and his group Edge of Extinction are menaces and griefers. They have been barricading a known revive point intentionally even after being told to stop. I've given my official response to the messages broadcast in favor of Edge of Extinction, it seems that the notorious radio spammer to talk has been behind much of it since he tried to interrupt my broadcast. I trust that you will all know what I have said and what was to talk's doing. Honoring a nearly ancient treaty originally created between the Abandoned and the Liberation of Crossman Department, we have re-allied ourselves with its reincarnation, the Soldiers of Crossman, a combination of the LCD and the CDF. Bale was officially recaptured yesterday. It is currently surviving and we are going to do our best to maintain it. The Style Building has been holding for roughly two weeks thanks to the joint efforts of ourselves and some of the great people in our suburb. We continue to hold out against the zombies despite the continued PKings by Chocolate Thunder. That was your first news post for 2010. Leadership of Alpha Cell has officially changed. I, Rohndogg1, have stepped down from leading Alpha Cell to better manage the group as a whole. liquidicon, a former member of Charlie Cell has been elected as the new leader. I wish to congratulate liquidicon and wish him the best in his new role.

Looks like it's once a fortnight, hard enough to remember.

Bale Mall has been hit and went down after a struggle lasting a few days. It has shifted hands a few times, but currently rests in the hands of the zombie horde. A few other buildings have fallen and the Style Building has been breached. We're doing our best to hold the area.

Though the North is facing trouble, southern Yagoton is doing relatively well and revives are still moving out at a decent rate in the suburb. --Rohndogg1 01:29, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
