Greetings

I've been away from the Wiki for some time and have been stuck in my own little corner of Malton so I never noticed your group. Just letting you know, I'm a 40K player myself (10k Point Chaos, and 2500 pt Tau armies) and although I shudder to see the cross over I think what you have done is commendable. Thank you, I'm still a bit new at all the wiki coding and stuff but its not too bad really once you get used to it.

Stuffs

The templates Protectorate and Controlled have been removed because suburbs, locations pages and any community page for that matter are to be kept NPOV. Group categories should also not be included in those pages, as doing so would clutter up the articles with links that can already be found. Yes, I realize there are probably some other templates around that shouldn't be there and someone will probably remove those too. Thanks! --  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 02:57, 4 April 2008 (BST)

Blood for the Blood God!

You maul Cpt Garviel Loken for 3 damage, and grab hold of their blood-smeared silver medallion of Saint Matthew. They die.

Welcome to the Black Legion. --Skey 02:18, 10 April 2008 (BST)

Epics Coalition

Hi there, saw your remark and thanks. I believe our group has moved from Gibsonton, though I don't know how permanent that is. If we come back I'll be back in touch. Asherah 23:18, 18 April 2008 (BST)

Penny Heights News

Hey when you're posting news make sure you make another date header if its from a more recent date. Eg your last Penny News was written on the 23rd but in the 18th section. I moved it to the proper spot but you might wanna keep an eye out on that next time. Cya round the heights.--xoxo 01:09, 24 April 2008 (BST)

Subpoena for Testimony

I'm sure you know about the arbitration over the Invasion of Gibsonton page. Once opening statements are completed I would like you to come to the Arbitration and make a statement about your involvement in the creation of the Invasion of Gibsonton page. As soon as Ion testifies, I will make a few questions for you and allow you to make a statement on the conflict. Your comments and responses to the questions that I have will help toward ending the edit conflict and hopefully get us on the road toward having a mutually agreeable version of the Invasion of Gibsonton. --Akule Maker of fine, hand-crafted UDWiki sass since 2006 -- Akule School's back in session™ 22:27, 1 June 2008 (BST)

The Marshals and the Invasion of Gibstontown

Hey there, Garviel. I'm the person who broadcast that message saying that the Marshals didn't participate in the Invasion of Gibsontown, which was in response to a message claiming, amongst other things, that the Marshals participated in the war on the side of the Coalition. I didn't have enough AP or room in the broadcast box to put everything I wanted into it, but the message was originally meant to say that there was no organized Marshal involvement in the war. There were Marshals involved, but they acted independently after being notified of your request. My message was meant to refute this claim:

  • 26.26 MHz: "Well, we can start with DEM's en masse invasion of Gibsonton" (yesterday)
  • 26.26 MHz: "last spring. After a coalition of SURVIVOR groups told them" (yesterday)
  • 26.26 MHz: "that their help wasn't needed or appreciated, and that" (yesterday)
  • 26.26 MHz: "they should leave before it came to bloodshed, DEM swarmed" (yesterday)
  • 26.26 MHz: "the suburb." (yesterday)
  • 26.26 MHz: "We're talking mass coordinated strikes." (yesterday)

...

  • 26.26 MHz: "PKer upstarts who were causing real trouble for..." (yesterday)
  • 26.26 MHz: "ACTUAL survivors. Of course the Marshals are going to..." (yesterday)
  • 26.26 MHz: "step in. Give me one REAL instance where a bona-fide..." (yesterday)

I realize that I may have been wrong to edit out the word "organized", but I was told that refuting the comment that the Malton Marshals participated en masse came secondary to refuting another claim that slandered one of our Academy instructors. And, as I said before, I simply didn't have the AP to include everything I wanted. The Marshals' presence was, admittedly, minor compared to that of some other survivor groups, partly because the Marshals operate independent of each other and rarely act as a unified force. I'm sorry about the confusion, and I realize that this does not address all of your complaints about the DEM. I hope that in the future the Imperium can be friends with the DEM.--William Told 03:16, 3 September 2008 (BST)

Garviel, I understand that Kristi's facetious remarks (and they were facetious) upset you, as did Labine's involvement with the GIB. My post, however, was meant to explain the Marshals' involvement and the message I broadcast, nothing more. I won't presume to explain their actions, especially since I had nothing to do with the shenanigans that ensued in Gibsonton in March. As for the players known to have both DEM and Red Rum alts, their alts are their own business, and neither I nor the DEM leadership are arrogant enough to tell them what to do with their characters. A lot of people have PKer alts, including me, and what our more homicidal characters do has nothing to do with what our other characters do. Also, please pay attention to the rules at the top of a user's talk page when posting responses.--William Told 20:34, 3 September 2008 (BST)--

Malton Uprising

Regarding your removal of the Malton Uprising from Pescodside, this. 04:56, 20 September 2008 (BST)

Ronin Gallery

I'm glad you approve! Does this mean that history will show you're one of the first survivor groups to take heed of this problem, and mend your ways? Because there's currently an Imperium member or two on the list. This guy removed his Imperium tags, so I'm not sure he's actually one. --Jen 10:04, 26 September 2008 (BST)

Howdy

Was once a defender of this suburb, my group is all but gone, good to see there are still humans around that want to survive. ~BP
