To dispatch the threat Subsector Command dispatched three regiments to the fray: the 4th Dagonis Regiment, the 289th Valhallan Rangers, and the 83rd Birmingham Infantry. After initial contact it was discovered that this infestation was far more severe and the units sent in were cut to pieces in the process. Of the three the one that survived most intact was the 4th Dagonis which sent out immediate orders to concentrate on their position and reform under the Regiment's banner. Only time will tell if this, and their mission, proves successful... Purpose The 4th Dagonis has been dispatched to Hive Borehamwood to eradicate the mutant presence or die trying! Organization Regiment The whole of the Regiment's forces, it is currently uncertain as to how much of the Regiment survives intact, it is likely the highest level of surviving organization is that of a Company. Company A formation consisting of between two and five platoons commanded by a Captain. This is likely the largest intact formation of the Regiment in the Hive at this time. The Captain is also expected to have a command section of five soldiers including himself. Platoon A formation consisting of between two and five squads commanded by a Lieutenant. The Lieutenant is also expected to have a command section of five soldiers including himself. In some cases Platoons are commanded by Captains due usually to severe battle losses. Squad A formation of five to ten soldiers, organized by time zone of the users for ease of coordination, squads are the most basic formation in the Regiment. A squad is commanded by a Sergeant with a Corporal as the second in command. Ranks Colonel Believed to be dead, the commander of the whole regiment. This position may remain unfilled during the course of this campaign. Captain Commander of a company or in some cases a single platoon. Lieutenant Commander of a platoon. Sergeant Commander of a squad. Corporal Second in command of a squad. Private Standard line trooper.
