Description
The Gouger Arms is an old fashion English pub located in the suburb of Dulston. Built in 1948 the pub was owned by Douglas Smithson, who moved to Malton from England only a decade earlier. His dream was to build a pub, just like the one his father owned back in London, and it was not long before that dream was realized. The pub is famous for serving a wide collection of beers usually served in pubs throughout Britain, but few new how Smithson managed to acquire so a grand collection of beers. Patrons exclaimed he always seemed to have the beer they wanted.
After the "Malton Incident" occurred Smithson appeared reluctant to depart the pub he loved so much, but fearing for his life and that of his family he reluctantly evacuated the city before it was quarantined. Survivors have since taken a liking to the old pub and a few, perhaps more curious than the rest, who have ventured through the hedge maze behind the pub to uncover a secret that man was perhaps never meant to know... a beer secret.
These days the pub serves as the headquarters of FOXHOUND HUNTERS, a sub-group of FOXHOUND that is dedicated to scouting and hunting down bounties on the enemies of Dulston. If you look to the right of the door after coming in, you can see a statue of the infamous Eduardo Tapia who was the original leader of the FOXHOUND HUNTERS. His legacy lives on. Currently under the leadership of Met Fan, they are actively seeking new members to join their survivor group.
Barricade Policy
Barricades should be kept at Extremely Heavily at all times. The true purpose of this building is to serve as a heavily fortified shelter for Malton's veteran survivors and headquarters for the survivor sub-group, the FOXHOUND HUNTERS. This ruling was set forth by the Dulston Optimal Defense Diagram and is enforced by all member groups of the Dulston Alliance.
The FOXHOUND HUNTERS believe in having the building as secure as possible so that it can be used as a possible haven for all veteran survivors. The FOXHOUND HUNTERS extends its apologies to all inexperienced survivors who do not yet possess the Free Running skill and therefore cannot enter the building. The survivor group maintains that they cannot risk being invaded by a horde and instead would redirect new survivors to Heddington Walk Railway Station as an alternative shelter.
Scentoral Imaging Location
This block has been chosen as a location for scentoral imaging by harman conservationists who use it to maintain a full migratory map of zombie movements throughout Malton. damage-resistant, zombah-friendly keypads have been installed for the uploading of data.
