Basic Info:

  • Office buildings owned by the company often associated with the zombie outbreak. From the outside, they are indistinguishable from other buildings, but characters with the NecroTech Employment skill are able to recognise them.
  • Among the internal descriptions found in NecroTech Buildings:
The NecroTech logo is set in the wall behind the front desk, and doors open onto powered-down computer rooms and laboratories."
  • If a generator is running inside the building:
"The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms."
  • NecroTech offices are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used.
  • Necrotech Buildings can be barricaded normally.

The Patterson Building is a NecroTech facility located in the suburb of Gibsonton. In the months, and years, following the "Malton Incident" survivors have done their best to make use of the resources abandoned by NecroTech Industries to help in their fight against the zombie hordes. It should be noted that this building's strategic importance to survivors is increased by the fact that it is the only NecroTech building located in the entire suburb. Staff commonly revive the deceased inside this building.

NecroTech staff continue to follow directive 42-A, issued by the head office on January 19th 2006, with the activation and manufacture of MK-II revivification syringes. While the cost in time and effort are currently high the certainty provided by being able to manufacture a constant stream of syringes has mitigated early concerns.

The activation of NecroNet with all NecroTech buildings has also allowed scientists to apply the DNA tracking research they have gathered to date. The field research staff stationed at the Patterson Building feel certain that they can crack the mystery surrounding the spread of the virus as well as help monitor aberrant zombie activity within Gibsonton.

Barricade Policy

This building should not be barricaded. It is an official rotter revive point.

NecroNet Reports

Zombie tracking reports are a free service provided by the NecroTech corporation to all its staff and local survivors in order to help facilitate quicker response times when managing zombie threats and to build a greater awareness of zombie migration patterns within the 9x9 block region around the Patterson Building. As a cautious reminder, only those zombies tagged with the DNA Extractor will appear on these scans, so actual numbers may vary when dealing with older zombies (i.e. Brain Rot).

News older than one month should be moved here.

August 16th, 2009 - The building was reported with power by External Military radio. This is probably due to the fact that the Dead Bunnies has moved out of Santlerville and nearby area a day earlier. -- Kittithaj 05:09, 17 August 2009 (BST)

August 11th, 2009 - A group of 10-15 Dead Bunnies zombies broke into the building. Fighting and combat reviving followed. The dead ultimately won. All people who couldn't escape in time were killed. The building was ruined. -- Kittithaj 23:31, 11 August 2009 (BST)

July 6th, 2008 - The building is VHB, powered, and with no zombies outside. --Scott Timewell 00:57, 6 July 2008 (BST)

May 15th, 2008 - Survivors have reclaimed the Patterson Building! The building is powered and survivors are defending the building once more. Could this possibly be in celebration of noted NecroTech scientist, Caleb Usher's, birthday? The odds seem unlikely.

March 26th, 2008 - The Patterson Building has been destroyed by a zed incursion, despite trying to defend the cades the survivors were overwhelmed and (for those who did not escape) subsequently eaten! Members of RHVP are assisting with regaining the building at this time. - Wilkowski

March 14th, 2008 - The Patterson Building is fully restored to order with a healthy number of survivors overlooked by some of the Rolt Heights Vigilante Patrol's (RHVP's) finest. Currently Extremely Heavily Barricaded, entry can be made via Ramsden Way Fire Station next door. - Wilkowski
