A Heretic may see the truth and seek redemption. He may be forgiven his past and will be absolved in death. A Traitor can never be forgiven. A Traitor will never find peace in this world or the next. There is nothing as wretched or as hated in all the world as a Traitor.

Traitors

Those who have attacked members of Imperial organizations or seek to murder innocent civilians for no other purpose than their own sick pleasure as well as those who attack Imperial infrastructure such as generators and vox casters. All those who call themselves PKer groups are considered Traitors by association. Those listed here are those reported directly to the Imperium.

Crimes

The following are crimes Traitors may be charged with, in order of extremity.

Destruction of Property: Destruction of Barricades during a siege, Destruction of Generators or Vox Casters

Murder

Murder of Imperial Personnel

Desertion: Leaving Imperial service on spurious grounds during a time of active conflict. This does not include those who leave during a time of relative peace for any reason or due to issues unrelated to Urban Dead.

Treason: Murdering any individuals during an assault by any mutant horde (100+ mutants assaulting a suburb in a group)

Traitorious In Extremis: Servant of the forces of Chaos, individual or group actively at war with the Imperium

Traitorious In Extremis Diabolous: Former Imperial agent turned to the service of the Ruinous Powers, formerly of the Imperium and now actively at war with the Imperium

Heretics

The word "heretic" in addition to other things, applies to zombie spies and infiltrators especially. While Traitors are vile and the source of much evil, Heretics are infinitely more dangerous, as they not only take on human form to obtain vital information from the living but also do so to sabotage defenses put up or maintained by survivors. They must be stopped at all costs. Other Heretics are those who have the mutation of Brain Rot in their profile, they are deemed not just under the influence of Chaos but active servants and are also to be similarly hunted down without mercy as they often impede those seeking the cure of the infection of Chaos.
