November 6, 2007 Location: The Herbert Building (Roftwood) The air was cold and the grass sharp under my back when I woke in the predawn light; the crisp fall air had the faint scent of wood smoke and decay. Turning my head I saw the masked face of Sir M lying a few feet away from me. November 4, 2007 Location: Dempsey Grove Police Dept (Roftwood) It was late into the evening when we were roused by the barricades falling; I was reaching for my crowbar as a male zombie in a bloodsoaked and tattered police uniform attacked me, clawing into my coat and biting into my forearms. I managed to get free and retreated, feeling the effects of an infection already coursing through my veins; I fell back against the wall even as the barricades were being rebuilt. For a few moments I was dazed and as I was trying to shake myself out of the disoriented state, another survivor was already helping me with my injuries. There was no time to rest as moments later the barricades fell again; this time I was ready, my gear secured and strapped to my back and crowbar in my hands. The zombies shambled in -- I didn't get a good count of them as the generator was taken down after I batted one of the attacking zombies away from me. They want a meal? They won't get it easily---!
