October 21, 2007 Location: Southall Mansion (East Boundwood) A pair of zombies managed to bring down the barricades -- one seemed confused while the other while undoubtedly feral as it attacked -- I had not time to reach for a weapon and while another resident revived the confused zombie, I grappled with the other one; its teeth and claws tore into me, ripping and staining my blouse. Nicholas charged with a war cry, slamming into the undead creature with a powerful shoulder, sending it out one one of the study's broken windows to the street below before helping me tend to my injuries; after he's helped me get the bleeding stopped, he went to work on the barricades while I finished tending to the wounds I'd gained... October 17, 2007 Location: Southall Mansion (East Boundwood) The zombies seem to be getting more active despite the colder weather -- shortly after breakfast we had another breach in the barricades, leaving one of our number dead and once more I grappled with one of the undead in hand-to-hand, leaving me with a few new bite wounds and an infection. After handling my injuries and helping clean up the study, we had another break-in, which was swiftly put down. October 16, 2007 Location: Southall Mansion (East Boundwood) The day started off cold and cloudy; around noon we had a bit of activity when a couple zombies managed to enter the front hall of the mansion, then wander into the study. I was in the middle of cleaning up from a late brunch when one attacked me; without any weapons, I gad to grapple with it hand-to-hand. A few bites to my bare forearms later and Nicholas had the undead creature put down; while my injuries were being tended to, the bodies of the undead creatures were removed and the barricades repaired.
