User talk:DJSMITH
Note:I would like to take this moment to remind people that editing any subpage of my userpage (E.G. User:DJSMITH/XXXX) other than My talk page is the same as vandalism, and will be reported! Please make a new subject (using the ===title=== format) at the bottom of the section it comes under. Then, type your comments in underneath. Pretty simple, really. SIGN YOUR POSTS. If you don't know how to, simply type --~~~~ at the end of your post. Any posts without a signature WILL BE DELETED. Editing the WikiWarningPlease do not add unwanted comments to groups pages this wiki. If you continue this behaviour, you may be banned from editing the wiki.--The General T Sys U! P! - I'm flattered by your code ganking. :D You will want to change User:DJSMITH/Sig and remove the timestamp that's currently there - otherwise it will work poorly. Remember to manually sign on suggestions... All that jazz. And you may want to change User:DJSMITH/Nav to hold the Danger Report of a suburb that has more significance to you. --Darth Sensitive W! 19:07, 3 August 2006 (BST)
- Mmmm. Good job - however, it should probably be in your user namespace not the template namespace... Just on principle. And then people won't get away with vandalism. --Darth Sensitive W! 19:24, 3 August 2006 (BST)

Hold on there!
Are all those coordinates leading to non existing pages? If so, please stop immediately. They show up on Special:BrokenRedirects and will most likely be nominated for speedy deletion long before you can create pages for each one. –Xoid S•T•FU! 18:01, 4 August 2006 (BST)
Suburb Page Modifying
I have added a comment you should find more suitable to the Pitneybank wiki. If this one is deleted than I really request a much better explanation as to why instead of generic message being posted on my user page. Thank you. Night of the Me 10:55, 10 December 2006 (CST)
Criticism
No Offense
If you're going to tell me not to post comments onto the Wiki, you better tell everyone. Otherwise, ZIP IT! There had best be something SOMEWHERE on these pages telling people where to post what. I am by no means offensive, and I am not (by anything I have read) violating ANY rules.-Bskrobot 05:51, 19 October 2006 (BST)
- Easy, tiger. DJ's right. There's a reason we have talk pages, you know. Cyberbob Talk 07:12, 19 October 2006 (BST)
- Bsk, you do not remove parts of your comments from user's talk pages either, it shows you are trying to hide something. If you want to apologize or that matter (Not saying you were trying to), please add another comment. There is no limit on the number of characters you can put on a wiki page AFAIK --DJSMITHCDF 19:05, 19 October 2006 (BST)
- I'm sorry...I was unaware of the protocol. I WAS, however, trying to apologize. I guess I was out of line. It won't happen again.-Bskrobot 19:29, 20 October 2006 (BST)

Re: Suggestion
you can't change a suggestion after people start voting, and as they did not know this stuff all the votes are tainted. You should resubmit it, and explain everything fully, that way people understand what you are trying to implement and can vote accordingly. --Gage 05:25, 21 June 2006 (BST)

Grim s' Gag
Unfortunately, unless Grim want's to do some PHP coding and fold it into the back-ends of MediaWiki, recording the number of clicks is nigh on impossible. Scripts and similiar things being embedded into a page is not a possibility in MediaWiki — the parser simply tosses them out. –Xoid S•T•FU! 04:43, 19 June 2006 (BST)
Pathetic Bill
Let it go DJSMITH, we are no zergs or multi abusers, even Mr. Davis believed us. No Bill was ever banned from the game for good. WE have proven so many times that we attack in a coordinated fashion with more than one player at the same time. e.g. double and triple kills. BTW I see you like the template I made :) We hope we can all play together as equal enemies without the zerg-whining and the imputations. --Pathetic BiII 16:51, 28 July 2006 (BST)
Two Things
Iron Cross Brothers
Be aware that there was recently some issues with their page and ownership rights. You'll probably want to alter the links on the CreedyDF's page to point away from the disambiguation page. –Xoid S•T•FU! 13:20, 16 August 2006 (BST)
KillBill
You may wish to look at [[User:Xoid/KillBillSmall]]. I noticed your version makes it almost impossible to see the "pathetic" part, kind of losing out on the joke. –Xoid S•T•FU! 13:20, 16 August 2006 (BST)
- I see you've made my version redundant. By, y'know, implementing it. :-D Heh. Delinking it as I'm putting it up for speedy. –Xoid S•T•FU! 07:23, 17 August 2006 (BST)
Edit
RE:why did you do this? The 501st's page was deleted, and a comment was made RE the number of broken links scatered over teh wiki. So I, as a mod, took the time to go through all the references to the broken link and rather than deleting the link entirely changed it from a link to a Bold Text. Its one of those responsibilities you don't here about a lot, because it doesnt have to be done on such a scale very often. Conndrakamod T CFT 23:05, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Missing Page
I'm asking you because you know the UD Wiki and its policies better than anyone else I know. My old (and dead, it's a long, sad story) clan's page has disappeared. The links to the page are still there, but the page is gone. Are the pages belonging to nonactive groups that aren't voted as historical groups deleted? I haven't seen a debate over whether the "Classic Battletech Revolutionaries" should be considered a historical group. Axeman89 21:13, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. Where is the deletion discussion page? Axeman89 16:08, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- Nevermind, I see where the page was nominated to be deleted. What a shame. I happen to have finally made it to Pimbank and am going to join the CDF. I look forward to meeting you in UD for once. Axeman89 16:19, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
