Suggestion description
This skill would be made available as a Military skill. There are 8 ways to look with binoculars: purchasing this skill would provide an additional option at the cost of 6 or 7 AP to look in every direction with a single action. This way, players could still look in a single direction for 1 AP, or 3 directions for 3 AP, but a complete circular sweep would be more AP economical. An additional tier of this skill could be Advanced Recon Training, which would reduce the cost of the sweep to 4 or 5 AP. The existing rules applying to where binoculars can and cannot be used would remain unaltered.

  3. Keep/Change - I like it but a cost should be specified. I'm voting for max AP cost listed in suggestion. ~Vsig.png 22:25, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
  4. It's no Binocular Sniping, but its still good. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 22:26, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

  13. Keep - Give those things an use finally, dammit. -- Spiderzed 22:00, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
  14. Keep - I like it. Still curious how exactly it'd work but I suppose the stems from my own lack of binocular use, either way some further explaination might be useful.        04:36, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
  15. Keep/Change - It would be better if they made it a subskill under "Scout Safehouse," or at least part of the same skill tree. Otherwise, keep it. --Anachomutualist 02:52, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - KISS and Pin the Details Down. I want to know exactly how much AP you're suggesting that this cost, and I don't see why there should be two skills for an ultimately trivial boost. --VVV RPMBG 23:45, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
    • Re - If this isn't simple, I don't know what is. --Bjornkarl 20:55, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
It's not that it's complicated so much as that it could be simpler. --VVV RPMBG 00:44, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
  2. Kill - two skills just for binoculars? Excessive. Also concerned about the see-through-walls quality of it. When I fall, I'll weep for happiness 19:08, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
    • Re - There is so much useless XP gained after maxing out both skill trees...why not make leveling all the way up take longer? --Bjornkarl 20:55, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
