West Grayside is a suburb located in south-central Malton.

West Grayside was Malton's number one entertainment and cultural hotspot and a major commercial hub before the outbreak. The suburb is home to Pole Mall, the innovative Hitoshi Abe-designed Clapton Stadium, as well as numerous fashionable clubs and pubs, and several popular cinemas. Whether it was hipsters or hip hop kids, football fans or Miskatonic student-intellectuals, postcard punks or upscale fashionistas, all kinds could be seen vying for the spotlight in the suburb's sidewalk cafes, pubs, clubs and trendy boutiques.

Darker times have fallen upon the neighborhood since the outbreak, however, and life has simplified somewhat -- with the major fashion statements competing against each other now being trenchcoats, tensor bandages and neural decomposition.

There are two radio stations serving West Grayside: 26.19 MHz is the frequency for the SE-4 district, which includes West and East Grayside, Kempsterbank and Wyke Hills; and 26.82 Mhz is dedicated station for Pole Mall.

Pole mall is breached and its west side ruined a few days ago by a horde around 30-40. Copeland building was ruined earlier today by a hoard of 8-9. --User:Husserl 9:14, 10 December 2010

November 30^th

Pole Mall has been reclaimed after a few days of occupation. The Horde having overcommitted in taking the mall, has now spilled forth north into Kbank and W.Grayside to aid their faltering advances. The Horde spearhead is reportedly moving into E.Grayside, leaving its grunts to exact vengeance upon the defiant locals of the area who are quick to rebuild and revive. --User:Buttmeister 23:00, 30 November 2010

25.96 MHz: "... leaving West Grayside, counted about forty outside ... a horde of thirty or so outside Pole Mall ... lights are on across the suburb ... can't see a single ruined building either ... the Topleaf Building is operational ..." --Ryan Rocksmith 01:05, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

Pole Mall under siege at the moment. There is frequent zombie breakthrough but at the moment, most are repelled without too much damage. There is usually between 30 and 40 zombies at the gate of East Pole Mall.
