After a long period of inactivity, the MDD has recommenced operations. As you can tell, our operating procedures, group organization, and protocols have been vastly overhauled. There's a 99% chance you'll be accepted! -- TheFireChief Commanding Officer Current Operation: MDD Resurrection IN EFFECT Overview The Malton Department of Defense is a paramilitary pro-survivor organization serving all of Greater Malton. The MDD is dedicated to maintaining a safe environment for the living and removing the undead threat. History In the weeks following the Malton Incident, the Malton Department of Defense suffered heavy casualties as the primary combat units attempted to keep the undead from escaping the confines of Malton until the quarantine zone could be established. With all combat units either KIA or under the command of the External Military outside the quarantine zone, only the support units of the MDD remained behind, performing their original functions while awaiting and evac that would never come. Divisions The Malton Department of Defense still operates the following divisions inside Malton: The Defense Security Service - Originally an internal security unit of the MDD, the Defense Security Service's mission was to defend government installations and protect administrative and support personnel. Post outbreak, the DSS now comprises the bulk of the MDD. The Defense Security Service's current goals include the protection of survivors and general zombie destruction. The Department of Health and Human Services - The DHHS originally oversaw the administration of healthcare and medical services in Malton. Post outbreak, the DHHS continues its mission, providing aid to injured and infected survivors and reviving the undead. The National Security Agency - The pinnacle of intelligence gathering and the protection of freedom in Malton, the NSA was highly secretive unit of the MDD. Post outbreak, the NSA now focuses its attention on the growing threat of PKers and organized undead. Services The MDD offers a wide range of services to the citizens of Malton. These include: Infection Treatment Centers - Operated by the Department of Health and Human Services, these centers are specially designated buildings in most suburbs in Malton that are staffed by medics 24/7 and kept at VSB for easy access. Any infected survivors should make there way to the nearest center for immediate treatment. Witness Protection Program - A service of the National Security Agency and Defense Security Service. Any person/group who is being harassed or assaulted by any hostile individual or group can receive help to stop the griefing. See the wiki page for further details. DHHS Brain Rot Revive Clinic - A service of the Department of Health and Human Services. In order to allow long undead citizens of Malton to walk among the living again, the DHHS will provide revives to rotters on a case-by-case basis. Any requests will be subject to an extensive background check. Recruitment The Malton Department of Defense is always looking for new members to rebuild our numbers to pre-outbreak levels. Sacred Ground Policy Supporter This user or group supports the Sacred Ground Policy and acknowledges that all Cemeteries in the city of Malton are considered Revivification Points. Malton Department of Defense This User or Group is affiliated with the Malton Department of Defense.
