I have edited this a bit from my original post on the talk page

This idea is perfect for all pub dwellers...

So heres the basic concept: When some one currently drinks a beer in urban dead, there is no announcment. Now where is the fun in that?!? I think it is the right of every pub dweller in malton to drink a beer, and for everyone to know it! so basically whenever someone drinks a beer, everyone in the same pub (only pubs, to prevent spamming) sees the text

{player name} {sculls/drinks/swallows down/takes a swing of} a beer. 

Whether the player drinks, sculls, takes a swing of or swallows it is random, so you might have:

{player name} drinks a beer.

then if you drink another beer, it might say:

{player name} swallows down a beer.

This is perfect for pubs, as there can be plenty of drinking compititions and fun for everyone! If your survivor happens to be a heavy drinker, drink a beer and shout something witty before decapitating a zombie! Also, perhaps if you find the beer in a powered pub, the description changes from beer to ice cold beer. Therefore: {player name} takes a swing of ice cold beer. And if you really dont want to hear survivors drinking beer, you simply can turn hear 'beer drinkers' on and off

Beer...mmm... EDIT: I dont think I made myslef clear...If you dont want to hear people drinking bear, you will be allowed to turn it of in settings. Whether you drink, swallow down, scull or take a swing of beer is not your choice it is randomized flavour text. For the people claiming my work is a dupe, please provide a link, and if you already have, please tell me, and people who vote no, please explain why so I can understand why you said no. I also now think it should be exclusive to pubs, for roleplaying reasons. Thank you.

2. Spam - Don't include options in your suggestions. Take it to the developing suggestions page if you want people to tell you which parts are good or bad (and whether you should even bother putting it here on the suggestions page).    Sorry if it seems like harsh criticism (you're lucky that Grim hasn't cast a vote yet), but the reality of the suggestions page is such that a large majority of suggestions are killed or spammed. This definitely isn't the worst suggestion I've ever seen (not even close), but it does break one of the basic guidelines... don't give the voters options (does it only work in pubs or does it work everywhere?). Get one, solid idea and then post it. Also, don't get overly worked up about spam votes. Unless you get so many that your suggestion is actually spammed, they're no more powerfull than a kill vote. --Steakfish 02:26, 16 October 2007 (BST)

5. Spam - So far out of the genre you need a space based telescope (And some pretty mean computer enhancement) just to find it. This is a zombie apocalpyse, not a fucking drinking contest game. Its fucking stupid. We dont need endless spam of people doing shots to add to the endless spam of people talking and the endless spam of people using the radio and the endless spam of zombies shouting when they break inside and the far less frequent spam of PKers coming in and offing people.
