Greentown is a suburb of Malton, located in the south of the city. Before the outbreak it was a fairly calm suburb. Many retired citizens made their homes here and in 1998 a group of volunteers built St. Holy's Church, named after Margaret Holy, a wealthy heiress who donated a significant portion of her fortune to local charities.
Greentown is noteworthy for having no NT buildings and only one hospital, which only one other suburb can claim. This seems to be because it was the most religious suburb in Malton, boasting no less than 6 churches. Citizens of Greentown were atypically devout, and therefore believed that God would protect them and shunned worldly cures.
During the outbreak, many of Greentown's citizenry decided to stay in Malton and do good works, but many more decided to form paramilitary groups and "cleanse the city of its unholy blight".

The masses of zombies seem to have washed through Greentown nice and quick. Most buildings have been reparied and 'caded and many are now powered. Radio mast was up quick although a couple of Zeds have still been seen knocking on its doors. --Echo1 12:00, 26 June 2009 (GMT+9)

Much of Greentown has been hit hard and ruined by the horde of undead that swept through from the south as they overspilled from Dartside. Revive and rebuild plans are being started from nearby. --Echo1 10:00, 22 June 2009 (GMT+9)
