That better be a Rare Candy you're feeding the Mudkip, mate. :P --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 05:57, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

Considering you're only the second person I've given candy to in-game and the first was a random player I didn't know, yeah I'd say it was rare. May it bring you luck in your Red endeavors. Don't forget to pass it along. Don't eat it, it'll rot or (more likely) break your teeth. Oh wait, do mudkips have teeth? ~Vsig.png 06:19, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

It is one of my favourite panels ever seen inside a Marvel comic. Plus, there is no other villain team that could compete with the Nazi Zombies sheer power but The Terrible Two. Which was initially meant to be The Frightful Four. But
  1. that name was already taken and
  2. to quote The Terrible Two themselves,
    • Rabbit: "We don't need them! We are the Terrible Two! We're evil personified! The vilest villains on the face of the --"
    • Walrus: "They hung up on you, didn't they?"
    • Rabbit: "... After they were done laughing."
Not that #2 has any relation with the Nazi Zombies' desperate search for allies, of course. I'd never imply something as POV as that with my image selection. -- Spiderzed 17:42, 14 April 2012 (BST)

It wouldn't help if you could. Towards the end of my term, I was completely ignoring the spambots. Too time consuming. Nope. Couldn't edit my talk page during that 15. Wonder if its different for IP blocks. That IP block exemption relies on people being able post to their talk page when blocked. Need to test it before opening it on A/PD. ~Vsig.png 02:59, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
I believe that's either a wiki setting or extension on Wikipedia (I'd need to check, but either way, we likely can't change that without Kevan's involvement).
IP blocks default to blocking account creation and anonymous editing (which is already disabled on this wiki). I'd be perfectly happy to list a contact email address in case any administrators of these blocked ranges want to dispute the blocks.
(I'm also thinking about adding them to DNSBLs and possibly emailing the administrators of some of these myself, as their services are being used for vandalism, which will be against their Terms of Service.) ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾ 03:09, 24 May 2012 (BST)
My curiosity was less about your IP range blocks and more about the blacklist blocking Kevan may implement. Plus its come up more than once recently so it would be good to have in place. Mediawiki's IP exempt policy applies to all Mediawiki projects but it needs to be visible here and more importantly, it needs to work here. ~Vsig.png 03:20, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
Nevermind, I was confused. Wikipedia's policy isnto post an unblock template to your talk page. Wikimedia policy is to email a checkuser or beuracrat. We're good. I made Axe block me for no good reason. ~Vsig.png 03:57, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
Oh, I wouldn't say that… we're by no means guaranteed to have the same settings as Wikipedia here, so it can be worth testing these things. ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾ 05:53, 24 May 2012 (BST)
Oh, I know we aren't. Wikimedia has a multi-project policy on IP block exemptions. English Wikipedia has their own, which relies on a template placed on blocked user talk pages or an off site ticketing system. We'll have to have our own version or just use the basic Wikimedia policy. Coincidentally, IP Exempt flags are usually only granted to trusted users so users who are blocked from account registration would need to go through some other method than IP block exemption, I would think. Anyway, if you don't put up something on A/PD today, I'll try to get to it tonight. ~Vsig.png 15:42, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

You bite v4por for 1 damage. They die.

Zombie Eating.jpg Om nom nom
TripleU thinks that v4por tastes like beef jerky coated in a very thin layer of finely-ground tin foil.

I usually don't kill people on the Rouges Gallery, but you had just 40HP, and opportunities to kill minor celebrities or old pals are rare. This doesn't count as Sinistar winning his battle with you, he's still inactive (and will be for the foreseeable future). Now, let's see if any of the dolts in that mall will put me down before I eat my sixth victim without moving from that block. --VVV RPMBG 07:13, 5 June 2012 (BST)

Gah, I was wondering. I figured it was just a "friendly" hello. A love bite if you will. Perhaps in keeping with manners, you didn't want to speak with your mouth full. I noticed a distinct lack of banter. Welcome back, by the way. I had nearly forgotten about our little...arrangment. Should Sinistar rise again, I will be waiting. Of course, helping lead one of Maltons finest killing machines doesn't afford too many forays into hunting. If you get bored with your mall , you're always welcome to come join in on some flotsam culling with us. We should be too hard for you to find. ~Vsig.png 16:34, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
I was silent for fear that I wouldn't have the AP to finish you off, but afterwards I said 'My ass has finally decided to eat v4por's hand! IT HUNGERS... for more...' (Not an exact quote). You're one of the few who left the block without seeing me take multiple lives, so most people have the idea by this point. As for FoD, I don't have any characters who would want to join right now, although Sinistar or another character might consider it, if their personalities eventually evolve in that direction. --VVV RPMBG 04:09, 6 June 2012 (BST)
It'd be cool if you decided to join but I mostly meant come if you're bored of biting folks and then speaking to hapless bystanders Tongue :P. Of course, now that I've peered deeper into your soul, I see that you have the rot. If you mind being able to draw breath for the determinable future, perhaps this isn't a maw you want to stumble into. These Templar have itchy trigger fingers. Or perhaps that's the challenge you're after. *shrugs* Has to beat biting nasty mallrats stupid enough to stay in place after you've bitten everyone in the room to death. ~Vsig.png 05:16, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

I would just change the template but i always cock such stuff up :) --Honestmistake 17:48, 27 June 2012 (BST)

Yeah, Bob included pre-outbreak fiction to the UDThisMonth template. I had similar misgivings at first but figured the fiction stuff deserves some limelight. A lot of effort by a lot of people went into creating a backdrop for us. Is it verifiable? Nope. Its not even believable at times (but then again you have to suspend a lot of disbelief to play this game in the first place). If its a big issue to folks not to include fictional events on the main page, its probably worth addressing it in some way. That means either don't include it or include a disclaimer that some events are fictional. You may want to hit up Bob Moncrief for his input as well. This is his project but I'm helping him get it off the ground. ~Vsig.png 18:22, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
I'm not really here enough to care that much... I just noticed it and thought WTF? I would think that throwing in additional, fictional stuff should probably be in a different column or something to distinguish it from the real events that drove the timeline though. --Honestmistake 16:35, 28 June 2012 (BST)
I'll get with Bob about retooling the template to somehow make som distinctions. At the least, the template proper should have some noincluded preamble I think. ~Vsig.png 17:49, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
The reason the less-than-nonfictional information got into the template is because it originated as a collation of UDWiki:Project Timeline and User:Bob Moncrief/Timeline, my pre-2005 timeline of fiction from the Wiki. I added a noinclude preamble (thanks Vapor!) but I'm not sure about if/how exactly to separate out the fictional stuff. I'll open a discussion on Template talk:UDThisMonth in case others want to weigh in (and so we aren't crowding up this talk page!) Bob Moncrief 01:07, 29 June 2012 (BST)

Timeline

I'm digging the timeline. Do you have access to the Yahoo group "Necro Tech"? It was closed a long time ago but I got access from the guy that started it and can still get in to it. That one goes all the way back to the beginning. It starts off with mostly technical talk about the game itself with people asking Kevan questions and bouncing ideas off of him. But it eventually turns into a strategy and coordination spot. I got in there because that's where the Knights Templar founding members met and I got to see how the group came together. I did a pretty extensive history for the early KT days and it was pretty helpful. If you want me to dig around in there let me know.-Roddy Winters 04:06, 10 July 2012 (BST)

No I don't have access to any of the Y!Groups but wish I did. Everything that's publicly accessable is now just thick walls of spam. I'd love to have some info from the old boards. I already know a lot of the KT history thanks to your group's history page on the wiki. I wish more groups were that thorough. What other groups formed or coordinated on Necro Tech? What I'm most interested in is how planning for those early battles went down. Were there really guys like CoL members deep behind the scenes and making things happen or was it more chaotic than that? When it came time for a big battle, was there usually heavy strategy involved or was it just a matter of getting as many warm bodies in place as possible. And other than the POD drama, were there any other good public examples of group in-fighting, particularly any that brought a group to its knees? Ok, maybe that last part was more for just my own personal enjoyment Wink.
Above all, what I need for the project are people that can help write articles documenting important historical moments in the game. I'd like a chronological record of events detailing who was involved and what their roles were in the battles. There are three categories: Zombie Timeline, Survivor Timeline and PKer Timeline. The events listed in each category should be relevant to category, though there will undoubtedly be overlap. There is a fourth category which I'm calling the Malton Timeline but that title will likely change to Meta Timeline. Meta Timeline will be a history of the evolution of the metagame. The fifth category is for the perma-death cities and their respective timelines. Sounds more daunting than I think it will actually be. Project Timeline is a community project and the more of the community involved (especially the past community) the better it will be, I think. ~Vsig.png 06:24, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
OK, I'll get on there today and see what I see. Yes, the spam is horrible but I can get through it. Maybe I can forward some of the more relevant messages to you or something? I'll get back to you.-Roddy Winters 11:17, 10 July 2012 (BST)
I'm probably going to distill a Survivor and/or zombie history in the near future, but it'll probably read more like a history book than a timeline. I'll keep an eye on the timeline tho, if I encounter something interesting, I'll add it ;) -- Johnny Twotoes 14:06, 2 August 2012 (BST)
Sweet, thanks. Its about time that part of the project got a kickstart. I've been a bit of an absentee landlord with it lately. I am especially dreading writing up a survivor timeline. Any help with it would be greatly appreciated. ~Vsig.png 18:56, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
It's not going to be easy, I'll give you that... Any suggestions on where to start? -- Johnny Twotoes 18:59, 2 August 2012 (BST)
For suriviors, it pretty much started with a local scattered and unorganized groups. Those that used the old forums organized into groups like Cannonbal Crew, Axes High, and the various mall and fort groups. Then CoL came along and tried to organize the larger of the groups. Zombies had mostly limited sucess until The Many came along and then later RRF. Zombies were pretty much screwed for a long time, though until Kevan made zombie buffing updates. 2006 is really when all the interesting stuff started to happen. Zombies were finally empowered and survivors had to become more organized. The existing timeline tells a pretty good recounting of the sequence of event. Suburb also has good info and so does the Zombie Rennaisance page. I'm sure once those pages are created, people will start chiming in. Just keep it NPOV and as close to chronologically acurate as possible and all will be well. ~Vsig.png 20:07, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
There were a few big zombie groups before the RRF, Pwotters, TSO, etc. Also survivors have actually been on a landslide of descending organization as a side since the Caiger sieges. You can actually tie it very closely to the call of the |__________| Mall Survivor groups and that whole culture which has largely since become defeatist and isolated with individual survivor groups being anti-mall after growing high stakes losses in large mall sieges. It led largely to rolling defeats and added to that problem, particularly after BB2 and Santlerville which would be the last two major sieges. The Dead event actually caused survivors to start taking up high mobility offensive tactics as a way to try and regain tempo, particularly DIRT:NAP type tactics and the localized NT defenses being pulled separated out from old school Mall defense tactics. So there are definitely plenty of things to discuss in regards to this. --Karekmaps 2.0?! 09:38, 3 August 2012 (BST)
I basicly added the timeline with the main events. I'm not gonna debate the logic or decisions made, I'm just going to report on what is fact and make my conclusions based on those facts... -- Johnny Twotoes 16:29, 3 August 2012 (BST)
Yep, that's pretty much the way to go. There will be lots of discussion on these topics I'm sure and I want to encourage it. But what gets included in those articles should be neutral and factual. I'll strart on the zombie timeline this weekend, using the format I had in mind. @Karek, TSO and {Pwotters]] came after RRF. Undying Scourge was pre-RRF, though. ~Vsig.png 17:52, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
A lot of the early history died with Desens, but here is some early RRF information: early RRF stuff. I might be able to find some early Mall tour/TSO stuff but it also might be blown away.TSO grew out of Mall Tour; Pwotters came into their own around the pre/post OnStrike days. -MHSstaff 03:20, 4 August 2012 (BST)
I've added a lot of the notable events to the zombie timeline now. I'm sure that I've missed a lot, especially the stuff that never got recorded to the wiki. I know there were like 4 RRF Excursions (or was it one Excursion split into 4 parts?) but I could find little info on it. Feel free to fill in more. Next step is to fill in details of all of those events. ~Vsig.png 03:42, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

I copy/pasted that from the original article. Feel free to tool around with the tables to make the full group names to fit. I'm heading out until later today. October Bash

Any plans to tool one up this year again? Haven't seen a October Bash 3 page yet, so I thought I'd ask in time. -- Spiderzed 20:39, 2 September 2012 (BST)

*Sigh*. Plans, yes. Plans to go forward with them...still undecided. And I'm afraid my time is quickly running out to make a decision. I bit off more than I could chew last year. Running three events in one months sucks, to put it bluntly. I'd be happy to go over with you my thoughts. Find me on IRC some time. I'm sometimes identified as BDB on nexus servers and sometimes as vapor. ~Vsig.png 21:47, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
Unfortunately my own time will be constrained in September and early October, but if you have any tasks you feel you can delegate, let me know. The page design of the OBs was always one of my most favourite on the whole wiki. -- Spiderzed 00:15, 3 September 2012 (BST)
Delegation would be the way I'd go if I go forward. Likely entire events would be turned over to others while I oversee just the Red October portion. I'll talk to some people during the week to see if I get any takers. Another option is to just cut out all except the Red October event. I've been leaning mostly towards that option as October quickly approaches. If by some chance the other two events materialize, it would be an added bonus but no great loss if they fail to get off the ground. ~Vsig.png 01:08, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
Any news? -- Spiderzed 11:22, 13 September 2012 (BST)
I don't think its going to happen. I talked it over with my group a while back and people were interested but that's as far as it went. The idea was to do a traditional PK event rather than a manhunt and get several groups involved. I think that would be cool but with current climate of PK meta just doesn't seem suited for that type of thing. That and I just don't have the time or inclination to be that guy that tries to bring back the "good ol days" of the PKA. Perhaps it will get there again but it won't happen before October. ~Vsig.png 15:10, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

Of info and apples

Continuing this conversation from A/PT here instead. Aichon 16:36, 18 October 2012 (BST)

Agreed I like Acorn's version. Just proofread it before putting it up. I'm pretty sure "...sorts of information..." isn't grammatically correct. ~Vsig.png 00:07, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

I'm planning to scrap a lot of that text, to be honest, but just hadn't done so yet. Also, "sorts of information" is grammatically correct, though the "is" after it is incorrect, since the noun ("sorts") is plural. Aichon 00:20, 18 October 2012 (BST)
Yes "sorts" is plural but "information" is an uncountable noun and should be treated as singular. ~Vsig.png 01:22, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
"Information" is not the noun being acted upon, however, which is why I referred to "sorts" and why the plurality (or lack thereof) of "information" does not matter. We can see this is true with a more intuitive example, such as if I had said "a pile of apples" instead. In that case, it's obvious that "is" should be used since we're talking about "a pile". The "of apples" is being used as a descriptor, just as "of information" is being used as a descriptor to describe the "sorts" in this case. Since "sorts" is the noun being acted upon, we look to whether it is singular or plural for the cue we need. Aichon 16:36, 18 October 2012 (BST)
Ah but "sorts" is not the noun being acted upon. "Information" is being acted upon. We know this because we can remove "sorts of" from the sentence and it does not change its meaning: "...get a sense of the information available". I'm a bit rusty, but I believe "sorts" is this case is a descriptive pronoun similar to "this" or "that", or "the". ~Vsig.png 17:03, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
Mmm...doesn't removing "sorts of" actually change the noun being acted upon to "information", rather than demonstrating that "information" was the noun being acted upon the whole time? Going back to the apples, "pile" is clearly the noun being acted upon, but if we removed "pile of", it changes the noun being acted upon to "apples". Same thing here. "Sorts", while awkward when it's by itself, is indeed the noun being acted upon, I believe. Aichon 19:59, 18 October 2012 (BST)
I think Aichon is right. The word "information" is singular but in this case, it is the object of the preposition "of." The word "sorts" is the subject requiring a plural verb. Consider "pieces of information are" vs "a piece of infomation is." -MHSstaff 20:42, 18 October 2012 (BST)
Aichon, in your example, "pile" is also a demonstrative noun. "Look at the pile of apples." Is a more descriptive way of saying "Look at the apples". The grammatical issue here is in the plurality. You would not say. "What types of of apple is that?" you would say "What type of apple is that?" In our case "What type of information is being being checked out?" MHS, "pieces" is not demonstrative in your example in the same way that a piece of apple is not the same as a whole apple. ~Vsig.png 21:23, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
Yeah but you would write "what types (of apples) are those?" or "what type (of something) is that." Same thing here:
Look at the pile of apples. The pile of apples next to the barn is rotting. Those piles over there are also rotting. This pile/collection/group of pineapples is on fire. Those piles of turnips are not only on fire, but they are also exploding.
Objects of prepositions do not determine the tense. Here the word "type/pile/sorts/piece" determines the tense. -MHSstaff 21:35, 18 October 2012 (BST)
You've just unwittingly agreed with me since in all of the examples you provided, the subject is plural. "Information" is not plural. It is uncountable and treated as singular. "What type of singular noun is that" vs "what types of plural nouns are those". Lol. ~Vsig.png 22:25, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
The pile of apples next to the barn is rotting. Singular noun/singular verb
This pile/collection/group of pineapples is on fire... Singular/singular
Those piles over there are also rotting. Plural/plural
Those piles of turnips are... Plural/plural. -MHSstaff 23:07, 18 October 2012 (BST)

Hooray, late to the party. Various sorts of information are presented here. Sadly some of it wrong. If it helps change sorts to types, since they are basically synonymous in this case. :P --Open the Box Org XIII Alts 23:29, 18 October 2012 (BST)
The pile of rice is white. Correct? The puddle of gasoline is on fire. Correct? The bowl of cereal is soggy. Correct? This sort of information is correct. Correct? Rice, gasoline, ceral and information are uncountable nouns. They can be describe by terms like pile of, puddle of, bowl of and sort of but they cannot be pluralized. "Sorts of information" sounds weird because it is incorrect. It is probably also used by terrorists. ~Vsig.png 23:46, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

Okay, you guys got too hung up on an inapplicable example ("pile of apples" was only meant to highlight subject-verb agreement when dealing with prepositions; the differences in the nature of how "apple" and "information" are being used would make any attempts to compare "pile" and "sort" misguided...more on that in a sec). Let's drop the "is" vs. "are" discussion for a moment and look at "sort" vs. "sorts", since it's the more important one. This grammar book author's blog entry has the clearest write up I've managed to find on the general topic we're discussing.

To make a long story short, "information", within our sentence, is being used as a category of object, just as you would refer to "cuts of meat" or "varieties of candy" (or, yes, "pieces of information"). As such, the "sorts of information" usage is perfectly acceptable and should be treated as a plural. That said, just as "cut of meat" is also an acceptable phrase, so too is "sort of information". Even so, it doesn't make sense within the context of the sentence, since we're not referring to one sort of information. So, saying "...sorts of information are..." is grammatically correct and makes sense within the context, but, as has been pointed out, it's odd enough that we'd probably be better off rephrasing it anyway (or just outright dropping it). ;)

Now that it has been pointed out that the phrase "sorts of information" may have terrorist connections, I find it interesting that you are suddenly reversing course and advocating its removal/rewording. Most interesting indeed. But yeah. It should like totally be dropped. Totally. -MHSstaff 00:36, 19 October 2012 (BST)
Let the record show that I never supported keeping "sorts of information", and have actively encouraged the removal of large swaths of text from that page. Let the record also show that MHS is misconstruing my remarks so as to suggest that I changed course. Something a terrorist would do. Aichon 00:56, 19 October 2012 (BST)
I don't really care about what words are used. I just want everyone to agree that although pile of rice is singular, piles of rice is plural. --Open the Box Org XIII Alts 01:17, 19 October 2012 (BST)
Yeah I thought it was understood that the phrase would be removed and we were just debating because of boredom and/or having nothing better to do with our time. Anyway, since I had already thought of a somewhat clever example of why I still beleive "sorts of" was misused, I will post it and then I will drop the subject. As Kirsty pointed out, there are times when "sorts of information" would be grammatically correct, but not here. I could say "Acorn, what sort of cereal do you want for breakfast? I have all sorts of cereal in my pantry." in the same sense that could say "Newbie, look to see what sort of information is available. We have all sorts of information on the wiki." I'm sure there is some grammatical definitiln which explains why "all sorts of" is proper grammatical usage but I lack the depth of avaialable resources to look it up at the moment. Instead, I leave you with a grammar riddle.
There are three words in the English language which end in -gry. Two words that end in -gry are "hungry" and "angry". Everyone knows what the third word means and everyone uses it every day. If you have paid attention, I have already stated what the third word is. The three words which solve this riddle are...? ~Vsig.png 02:37, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

RadicalPoodle - the 26:12 scoreline tells us everything we need to know about whether TSI or FOD took it up the Gary Glitter during your last visit. You may want to see a doctor if the pain is persisting till now.
Vapor - clearly the point of my comments here is to highlight your hypocrisy regarding alt abuse. If you find any of my alts doing each others business, as yours has done recently, or find them within 10 blocks of each other, please report them to the Zerg Liste. You'll notice none of my alts is on there, because I don't zerg and I don't multi-abuse (I let two stray too close once, and promptly moved them and cleared my name). Neither would I use my other alts to attack alts of people on the wiki that I don't like, but then I've never been pumped as badly as you either in-game or on the wiki.
Thanks for the kind suggestions for names. Thurston Mallrat's surname and his occupation at the Kilt Store might indicate (to the careful reader) that he's the kind of guy who, y'know, might hang out in malls, not least because he works in one (when it's not ruined). Role-play 'n' all that. He has few enemies outwith the RRF, which makes your alt PKing him all the more egregious (and blatantly symptomatic of butthurtitis vulgaris). My comment about sheep was just as much a poke at FOD's cowardly MO of attacking unsuspecting targets, weakest first, rather than taking on those who fight back. Many PKers and PKer groups have TSI's respect. You're not one of them.
NB my characters are just that - characters. They're not me. Clue: my real name's not Mallrat. Separating fantasy from reality may help you in future. Have a hug, you sound like you need one. :)--Mallrat The Spanish Inquisition TSI The Kilt Store TKS Clubbed to Death CTD 19:13, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
Whoa, that's an awful lot of words for saying "I am still butthurt at FOD's dominance." Have you tried cutting it down to a sentence or two? Thanks.--RadicalWhig 19:21, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
Whig, its fingers working faster than brain, obviously. I'd have a hard time believing someone could be this ignorant otherwise. Or perhaps this is what it looks like when stream of consciousness meets utter incompetence. ~Vsig.png 22:11, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
"Baaaa!" meets "Live for the Swarm!".--RadicalWhig 01:02, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
Apologies PoodleWhig, I wasn't aware you struggle to read to the end of paragraphs. If TSI 26, FOD 12 is "FOD's dominance", I'd love to know what you consider defeat.
You two are evidently a pair of clownshoes. However, congratulations to the "impotnet" Vapor on finally spelling a couple of polysyllabic words correctly. Enjoy your group therapy and good luck completing high school!--Mallrat The Spanish Inquisition TSI The Kilt Store TKS Clubbed to Death CTD 03:54, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
Ah, the smell of raw unbridled FOD domination. So thorough rollmat here can't shut up about it, huh, Vapor? For the record, I like BaaRat the best, he seemed to make that sound every time we got his buddies. Or was that crying, I can never tell with all the squeaky bleats.--RadicalWhig 07:37, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
I'm kind of partial to Lambchop. But you're right. All I hear is BaaBaaBaaBaaBaaBaaBaaBaa (deep breath) BaaBaaBaa ... (10 minutes later) ... BaaBaaBaa. ~Vsig.png 13:51, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

Holy SHIT! I never connected my in-game kilty ally to Mallrat on the wiki! Holy god am I dense! A ZOMBIE ANT 13:53, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

That'll be because Thurston's a nice guy, whereas my wiki persona isn't. :)--Mallrat The Spanish Inquisition TSI The Kilt Store TKS Clubbed to Death CTD 20:33, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
Yup, same for me! A ZOMBIE ANT 03:01, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

Hat Store

You might want to make an official vote on your Hat Store deletion request, to avoid any ambiguity -- boxy 06:29, 4 November 2012 (BST)

Merge vote implies a delete. I'd still like it to be a redirect to The Hat Store and if it's deleted, I'll probably end up recreating it if that's ok. ~Vsig.png 06:37, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
You could have done that without a deletions vote Tongue :P -- boxy 00:58, 5 November 2012 (BST)
I suppose. It's still a group page, though a crappy one. Better safe than sorry. Still have the fear of bureaucracy in me, it seems. ~Vsig.png 01:22, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

Sith Page

Absolutely hilarious and one of the freshest ideas/events that I have seen in UD. If there is anything I can do -- either from a writing or wiki perspective -- please let me know. I can't wait to watch this latest offering from the PKA unfold. -MHSstaff 05:44, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I'll definitely hit you up for ideas. I know Two Headed Sex Beast was looking for witness shots earlier today. Talk to him about it if you seem him around. He's helping with the contacts list. ~Vsig.png 06:17, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
The Empire 2012 campaign screams for some fun and thought-provoking attack ads against humanity's finest. -MHSstaff 20:43, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

I'm not the type to consider in-game event invites as spam, but you might at least wanna lay off inactive groups. especially ones that couldn't make historical. twice. A ZOMBIE ANT 08:41, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

Just because you don't see thos Sith agents, it does not mean they are not there. Tongue :P. ~Vsig.png 14:30, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

While I do love the work I did on the BB3 minimap, might I suggest you avoid using it, and instead use something better? I made the TenTenMap after I got tired of reinventing the wheel each time someone needed a new city map, and I'm guessing it meets your needs quite a bit better than the BB3 minimap. Right out of the box, it can do everything the BB3 minimap does, plus it doesn't use any secondary templates, so it's a lot easier to work with. Aichon 17:22, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

Quick side note: if you do want to go with the BB3 minimap, you should know that you're not using it correctly right now. The template you need to be grabbing is actually {{BB3mapper}}, which is essentially just a place to dump data for the map. It then can be passed a variable telling it which template to use to display the data, with BB3minimap and BB3bigmap being the ones we used in BB3 (I modeled it after the barricade plans, which do the same sort of thing). The TenTenMap kinda wraps the design and data up into one template call, and I just added functionality to mimic what BB3mapper does while being able to chop out the need for having an extra template per style. Aichon 17:22, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
Aye. Thanks for the help. It was late when I started on that idea and I plan on coming back to it tonight. I just placed it there to get a feel for the look. I thought I had reverted that edit but guess not. I do love the BB3 map look and I'm glad there is an alternative. Looks pretty sexy. I'll hit you up if I get stuck and thanks again for the help. ~Vsig.png 18:20, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, TenTen should be able to look however you want, including BB3 style, and you can just use it as it is, rather than having to parse through my old code to figure out how to change it to meet your needs. That's always a time-saver. ;) Aichon 19:39, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
