Molebank is a leafy suburb of Malton, located in the west of the city. Prior to the outbreak, it was considered to be one of the more affluent suburbs with its open spaces, parks, museums, NecroTech research offices, and religious buildings. It was also the training ground for the firefighters of Malton. It had a high percentage of second and third generation Irish immigrants.

There are currently three zombies in the factory that houses the phone mast and a number wandering the street. The police station is not barricaded. Stephen Reid 12:17, 16 May 2010 (BST)

May 14th

A group of survivors has noticed that there were about 15-18 zombies in a four block radius of the bygrave cinema. For obvious reasons many survivors have already evacuated the area, if you are in that square or nearby, I would suggest immediate action.

May 13th

NecroWatch reported in from the Hambidge Building today. A recent NecroNet scan had revealed that there were 11 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of note, there were 2 zombies at the Hambidge facility itself, while over in West Becktown there were 3 zombies were at the Flowar Building and 3 more at the Attwell Building in East Becktown. The remaining detected zombies were each alone and posed no serious threat to any other specific locations. --Mobius

May 12th

NecroWatch reported in from the Hippesley and Pankhurst Buildings today. Recent NecroNet scans had revealed that there were 20 zombies within scanning range of the facilities, after accounting for scan overlaps. Of note, there were 4 zombies at the Hambidge Building, while 3 zombies were at the Flowar Building over in West Becktown. The remaining detected zombies, which numbered in the 1's and 2's, were scattered across the area. --Mobius

25.96 MHz: "... about forty in Molebank ... they're just wandering around ... a few buildings with lights on ... serious collateral damage ... the Barstow Building is down ..."
Sixteen hours after the first broadcast, zombie number went down by ten. A lot of buildings are still ruined, though. -- Kittithaj 22:29, 17 April 2010 (BST)

Significant Events and Group Presence

  1. The survivor group DHPD considers this suburb part of the six-suburb Dunell Military Zone, a multi-suburb patrol and defense zone.

  2. The Church of the Resurrection considers this suburb part of their current pilgrimage.
(The following is an excerpt from the written history of the Church of the Resurrection)
Operation: Christmas Feast Following long months of Pilgrimage, the Church arrived at its destination -- St. Jude's Cathedral and the surrounding area -- just in time for the Christmas holiday. As evidence of God's Love for the Church above all others, the Church of the Resurrection met no meaningful resistance as it preached its message of Love and Tolerance. No doubt those who had announced opposition to the Church either fled in terror of our Righteous Wrath, or chose to open their juicy little hearts, lungs, kidneys, and other internal organs to the Love of Sweet Zombie Jesus.
In addition to the Cathedral itself, the Church and its allies converted all unenlightened souls in the neighboring Necrotech building, and in the godless Communist factory that sends out brainwashing signals across the suburb.
