The Yagoton Revival Clinic Franchise Movement

The Yagoton Revival Clinic (YRC) would like to combine the efforts of the two(?) revival clinics here with the efforts of the YRC to form a new, central revival clinic at the St. Swithuns church. Please give your thoughts, pros and cons and what not. Your feedback is appreciated. --Alevins 18:04, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

I'm ok to made a indoor revive there. Not so far from my home, could give a hand some days--GoLookAndKill THCCFT 11:39, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
The Yagoton Revival Clinic movement collapsed years ago. St. Swithus Chuch is not an indoor RP, and has not been for years at least.-Fallout11 17:36, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Changing the Barricade Plan, December 2008

We are going to rebuild the entirely suburb in the next weeks, let's do something good !

The old one

My main goal is to stop what happened before the MOB destroyed everythings : having almost all the buildings keeped EHB. This make the suburb really unsafe for new survivors, but sometimes even for skilled players that need to go to other suburb to find a VSB building, and then FreeRunn back to Heytown...

Here's the original and wiki-official Barricade Plan :

What I suggest

  1. We need to respect what people are used too, we can't change everything or they will not follow
  2. But we're here to improve, so what I suggest for now is just to turn some buildings from EHB to VSB. People will still overbarricading, so if we can have one VSB building near each key building we will have less people stuck outside the doors...
  3. Because I think culture is what makes people, maybe all museums should be at VSB...?

As you can see here, I didn't change a lot of things : I added an entry point near the FireStation, I added a entry point in the middle of the yellow (at the Dupe Cinema), and I turned every museums to VSB (except the Craske Museum, we don't need that much entry point around our single NT building...)
That's more building VSB, and I think this is good : more entry points, fewer AP needed to put them back to their lvl...

What you thing

Please leave your impression here, pro and cons and all the stuff

Me

I agree with GoLookAndKill, but something is not clear, by the Dowdney Mall policies club Hesse is an entry point and should be maintained at VSB++, but in these plans its EHB.--Guimas 18:51, 22 June 2009 (BST)

Infected Swarm Leaving

For the sake of letting you all know, the Infected Swarm is returning to their home and as soon as all of our members are out of your fair suburb you probably won't see much of us for quite some time. --Rjkk 03:20, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Heytown Barricade Plan

Not to bash your plan, Inspector, but I believe that you have forgotten to add that one vital part of any Barricade plan - Entry Points. All the buildings seem to be at EHB. Unless you're suggesting that the resource buildings be entry points? - etimS 02:34, 12 March 2007

  • I would strongly recommend Club Swabey as an entry point as it’s been the one we Craskers have had little trouble maintaining. It is also the most AP efficient to go from what we call the ‘Triangle’ to revive locations at Mester square and over to the cemetery (80,34) in Spracklingbank. Also, could you please indicate Mester Square (77,35) as a revive spot. Thanks. --P Jack 19:16, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Sorry for the delay in responding to your plan, too many zeds not enough bullets. We’ve started a thread in our forums page http://madcraskers.jconserv.net/index.php to start implementing the ‘cade plan in triangle and would like your input, especially and help you could provide on how to go about this and the best way to ‘sell’ this to the other inhabitants of the triangle. P Jack 15:54, 31 March 2007 (BST)

I'm the guilty party for putting up the plan on the first page. I apologize if I jumped the gun a bit - I didn't see this discussion here when I put it up, but regardless, some sort of plan is needed. The template format I used is used for a majority of the other suburbs and I think is very solid. The great part is, it is easily edited. If your entry point has been labeled "EHB", it's real easy to go ahead and change that. If your long time safehouse has been labeled "VSB", go ahead and edit it. I honestly wasn't trying to step on anyones toes, but I've (my DEM instructor has) gotten a lot of complaints about the lack of a plan and so I threw one up (and made sure it was compatible with the DEM scouting report). I think it's important to have a working plan in place now, and it can easily be tweaked/modified to suit everyone's needs. Cheers. Badger 02:01, 3 April 2007 (BST)

So where do we stand on getting the UBP approved, implemented, etc? The Uniform Barricading Policy wiki page says ours hasn't been approved. We've been implementing the UBP in SE Heytown but we need help with the North and West sides of the suburb.--Auguste Rodin 15:14, 26 May 2007 (BST)

The Billingham Motel should be at VSB++2 because 1. it looks like a good hiding place for newbies who can't make it to the safehouses and 2. a group of users from the satirical wiki Uncyclopedia that play Urban Dead have formed a group called the Uncyclopedian Forces, and they happened to pick The Billingham Motel in Heytown for their headquarters. It would be appreciated if someone helped un-barricade the building to VSB++2, because all of the people in this group do not have Free Running yet, and, mind you, i'm a member of that group. I know we could pick another building as our headquarters, but this one's already barricaded - we just need to de-'cade to get in! ;) --Trar 19:50, 28 July 2007 (BST)

  • Welcome to the neighborhood UF, unfortunately you picked a bad time to unpack. With the LUE in SE Heytown right now we Mad Craskers are a bit stretched to come up and lend a hand. As soon as we can we’ll send up someone up to help out. Feel free to stop by our forums at http://madcraskers.jconserv.net/index.php and introduce yourselves. We look forward to working with you. --P Jack 18:19, 29 July 2007 (BST)

Anyone else think that we have too many entry points in the current plan? i.e. if both Sixtus General Hospital and Chaffey Alley Police Department are to be kept at VSB then why keep The Syms Museum @ VSB too? If this plan is waaay out of date then maybe we need to overhaul it? --Harroguk 15:53, 15 September 2008 (BST)

Dear Harroguk, just to let you know that in the next days I'm gonna make people for a new barricade plan, so we can all discuss and vote for a (maybe) new one. By the way I don't see anything bad having a lot of entry points. We need them. Or we don't ? --GoLookAndKill THCCFT 17:04, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Chaffey Alley

Auguste, we're also taking regular heavy damage at Chaffey, our elected HQ. Last night was especially brutal, with the whole place cleared out - over a dozen mutilated corpses were left on the doorstep, many of whom were members of Queer Jew. I'm thinking that some kind of pan-Heytown communication needs to be constructed to try and get to the root of these disgusting planned attacks.

Is a wasteland [76,31] really RP?

I am alredy killed two times by seems to be legal users. --ISBear 19:27, 16 June 2007 (BST)

There will ALWAYS be assholes who kill at revive points. Just stand up again and hope that a reviver finds you before an asshole does. Also consider trying one of the other revive points: cemetaries, or Mester Square.--Doc'Oc 19:42, 21 July 2007 (BST)
actually wastelands are considered zombie homes : you're there you're an evil zed. Cemetaries are the natural revive point. Even if this is a revive point some people won't realize that and you'll get killed. Try tagging revive point on it or just go to another revive point--Jay dark one 22:03, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
I have removed the wasteland as an RP from the barricade plan and the Resource Building List, If someone is actually manning this RP regularly then feel free to put is back on but there does seem to be some confusion as to whether it is an RP or not.--Harroguk 15:53, 15 September 2008 (BST)

Groups that used to be active in this area

Team Jio.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 13:55, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Do we actually need a section for has-been groups once active in Heytown? If so, why pick such a tiny and inconsequential group as Team Jio, which no one remembers? I can readily think of several larger, more "historic" contenders, such as Craske Building International Playboys, Queer Jew, Tiny Calves, and Malhalla without trying hard.--Fallout11 17:44, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
Ah, scratch that, I see that you were just trying to link up orphaned pages with....something! Guess this is a good a spot to put them as any.--Fallout11 17:54, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010

All suburb wiki pages are undergoing a clean up to remove inactive groups from the group listing (see here: this suburb's groups). If you are a group currently listed in this suburb, you will be contacted on your group's talk page within the next few days and asked to reply, indicating that you are active in this suburb. Groups that fail to reply within two weeks of being contacted will automatically be removed from the suburbs where they are listed.

We're posting here in the hopes that more groups will be aware of the clean up and can respond appropriately, since our team does not have the time nor the manpower to seek out every group in-game or track down its group members elsewhere on the wiki. If you know that some groups in your suburb do not check the wiki, please be a good neighbor and let them know that they NEED to check it for this, or else they will be unlisted in the near future.

The wiki members coordinating the cleanup will be using the table below to track their progress in communicating with the various groups. Please do not edit it if you are not involved with The Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010 team.
