Inactive Group: MacAddict

Hey, I noticed you removed MacAddict as a group from Gulsonside. I would like to point out that they indeed seem to be active. My response is quite simple: He was spamming the welcome newbie template on the talk pages of users who had been idle for YEARS as well as banned users, and those with hundreds of contributions under thier belts, and had been repeatedly asked to check where he was placing them. On top of this he admitted his sole purpose in doing so was to "win" the signature race. It wasnt an attempt to improve the wiki in the slightest, and his continued spammming of pages ineligable for any form of welcome (Due to the users being gone for months). Now, since kevan wiped all but the last couple of months history, theres definately going to be a shortage of evidence regarding this kind of thing (Kinda funny how you picked the day after the wipe to pick a fight about this), and also the fact that many of the welcomes he spammed were subsequently speedy deleted as spam. To put it as succinctly as possible: There were hundreds upon hundreds of pages he spammed that were completely ineligable, only a handful of those he hit actually were newbies, and given the spread he only hit them by accident. Stop trying to create drama out of nothing almost two weeks after the fact. He had been repeatedly asked to cease and desist before warnings were delivered, and once he copped two he threw a tantrum and ran away, and the wiki was made a slightly better place. --The Grimch ^{U! Player Hunt 2008

I noticed you signed up for the Player Hunt 2008 a while ago Axe. Well, if you're not busy with other stuff, it is starting in about a week. It is starting in Miltown in the very SE corner of Malton. We are all in Josephine General Hospital, waiting for the rest of the contestants to come and for the hunt to start. You are welcome to join in also, and any friends you want to come, but if your character is busy then it's alright.
