Gibsonton is a suburb of Malton, located in the northeast section of the city. One of the more important buildings within the suburb is Oram Walk PD, which was considered one of the most prominent safe houses in the early days following the initial outbreak. Home of St. Matthew's Cathedral. Gibsonton came to the public's attention during the Imperium Must Die invasion of April 2008 and has since been a target for PKers.

Before the Outbreak, Gibsonton was a depressing working class district, with several factories and warehouses. A Cathedral had long stood that served the workers who lived here, and a number of pubs opened up to give them a place to chill after a long day of work. After the 1980s, few factories remained, and the local officials turned to tax incentives for white collar jobs and tourism, the latter which centered around the beautiful Cathedral and newly opening museums as attractions. The pubs continued to make good business, now with higher prices for the tourists, but the pub-owners maintained lower prices for the blue-collar locals, who would mug the tourists and confess their vices the next morning in the Cathedral.

April 9^th

NecroWatch reported in from the Canner Building. A recent scan had revealed that there were 11 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 3 zombies were at Skarin Row Police Department over in Dunningwood. The remaining detected zombies were each on their own and posed no serious threat to any other locations. --Mobius 15:23, 9 April 2009 (BST)

April 2^nd

NecroWatch has reported in from The Patterson NT Building with a scan showing 17 zombies at Cotterrell Crescent Police Department, 4 zombies each at a cemetery and Botting Towers, 3 each at a factory and another cemetery, 2 at Ledward Auto Repair and a scattering of individual zombies in various parts of the map.
