Zombies seem to be massing. Trouble holding a few of the resource buildings. Lights going out across (at least) the north edge, but zeds seem to be targeting generators quickly. Radio went silent a few days ago, unknown whether due to lack of fuel, lack of anything to report, or lack of people alive to report it. No time to scout the southern edge, unaware of the status down there. But it doesn't seem like a safe suburb any more. --The Sero 22:24, 4 October 2009 (BST)

Upgraded from "safe" to "moderately dangerous" due to a couple of large groups and break in's viewed while scouting. Better info could be collected though. --The Sero 23:53, 4 October 2009 (BST)

October 2nd
Most buildings secured and powered ... the odd pair of zeds wondering about ... usually neutralised quickly ... reports of survivors sleeping in the street ... although it may seem safe this is still NOT recommended ... zombies usually migrate straight to the resource buildings ... enough survivors to hold them ... --The Sero 12:50, 2 October 2009 (BST)

New Arkham is a suburb of Malton, located at the south-western corner of the city.

Although the large number of Necrotech buildings make New Arkham useful for scientists, the absence of police departments makes the area unattractive for survivors specializing in firearms skills. Because New Arkham is a long distance away from the mall, survivors here are at a significant resource disadvantage - survivors sometimes move out after acquiring Bargain Hunting. Even before the outbreak it was considered boring. Most people had simple office jobs. After children grew up, they usually left to find some place less dull. The only thing that New Arkham was ever famous for was that it was the youngest suburb in Malton, it was 37 years old at the time of the outbreak and is now preparing for 40th birthday celebrations.
