Peddlesden Village is a suburb of Malton, located in the northwest of the city. Town life revolves around the Bascombe NT and its Swinnerton Square Police Department traditionally patrolled by the DHPD after it was the first suburb incorporated into the DMZ. The town was also the site of the beginnings of the Extinction zombie group and latterly has fallen under the thrall of The Dead. The suburb is physically divided into two halves, the northern and southern half, by a line of streets and the occasional carpark, and therefore there is a break in the freerunning lane for survivors traveling through.

Once again, the Village was beginning to recover, only to have key buildings ransacked again by the same herd of zombies with nigh identical names, sequential Necrotech ID numbers, and coordination of timing that a team of cheerleaders would be proud of. Survivors are beginning to wish for some kind of almighty smiting that would remove this chronic plague which has ruined their lives for months on end, Sassie 22:11, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
