ETR was inspired by the formation of our allied group, Mall Tour '06. I decided it would be fun to do a Mansion tour after the Mall Tour was over.
Goals
Short-term goals include:
- Recruit more members.
Long-term goals are:
- Storm every mansion in the city, starting from the south (Kersley Mansion in Stanbury Village) and working our way up the map, ending with Pitman Mansion (which will likely be the most climactic battle anyway, due to the existence of the Pitman Pitbulls).
- Destroy as many other buildings where capitalists are likely to hide as possible. This includes banks, malls, and office buildings (especially NecroTech buildings).
Successes
Kersley Mansion: Fell to ETR and several other zombies (presumably Pwotters) on April 10, 2006.
Alner Mansion: Fell to ETR and a handful of ferals on April 14, 2006. Resistance was somewhat less than expected, and no ROACH Klips were encountered.
Curton Mansion: Emptied fairly easily… we actually encountered heavier resistance at the neighboring Necrotech building. ETR left the area on April 19, 2006.
Southall Mansion: Finally emptied, after a long battle with Upper Left Corner, on April 28, 2006.
July 17, 2006: After the return of group leader Pinata from vacation, the two remaining members of ETR sacked an already-empty Pitman Mansion. The other buildings nearby suffered profoundly as a result of our disappointment at the mansion's lack of inhabitants.
November 2006: Caiger Mall fell to a large horde consisting primarily of Shacknews... ETR was present for and served with distinction during the battle.
Our revenge strike on Bale Mall, aided by Shacknews, was an astounding success at the end of the month.
Failures
Our attack on Bale Mall in early May -- our first attack without support from another group on a target that large -- was disastrously unsuccessful. Plans are still being worked out for a revenge visit.
Next Target
ETR is traveling with Mall Tour '07. Our current target is Stickling Mall.
