Confessor Dolan Chirosius, Sermon On the Road to Gathalamor Purpose Mobile Operations This group may use temporary bases but its main focus is engaging their foes in the thickest of the fighting Adepta Sororitas The Order of St. Matthew are Sisters of Battle in service of the Imperium of Man Planned Revivification This user or group supports organized revivification. Supporter of Urban Warfare Doctrine I fight block by block The Order of St. Matthew, as an order of the Adepta Sororitas, serve to ensure the purity of Imperial domains as well as to drive back the tides of mutation and heresy. While their main charge is to defend the Holy Cathedral of St. Matthew. As such they do so with legendary zeal and fervor, fighting with the ferocity of St. Matthew who was said to have fallen on the site of the Cathedral, the blood of the saint and those he slew in battle staining the very earth and stones red. Organization Mission A smaller detachment consisting of a handful of squads of Sisters led by a Canoness, there is no specific size for how many squads form a Mission but it serves as a more flexible detachment of a Commandery when needed, usually consisting of between two and five squads. Squad A force of five to ten Sisters led by a Celestine, this is the smallest organization within an Order of the Sisters of Battle. Ranks Canoness Commander of a Mission, these women command the smaller detachments as tasked by Sister Wendy in battle in the Emperor's Name. Like the Canoness Commander she has a command squad tasked to her person and this squad is counted as part of their Mission. Sister Superior Second in Command of a Mission, this woman takes command of the Mission when the Canoness is unavailable or incapacitated. She also assist in leading the Mission in its duties. Seraphim The elite bodyguards of the Canoness and the Sister Superior, they are attached to their squad and serve as the most elite, capable warriors in battle. Battle Sister The rank and file of the Order, these Sisters make up the bulk of the Order's fighting forces. They are further divided based on their skill and seniority, while this does not reflect chain of command within a squad it does denote their accomplishments, dedication, and abilities. Uniform All Sisters are required to wear red robes and carry a Saint Matthew medallion (All these items can be gotten in the Cathedral of Saint Matthew and anything else you want to wear is up to yourself). The colors of the Order are red and yellow, red for the blood spilled in the battle of the Cathedral as well as the blood shed by all the Imperium's defenders and yellow for the majesty of the God-Emperor and St. Matthew.
