Encamped Survivors .
Suggestion description
One thing that is difficult for me while playing, is the difficulty of Role Playing a zombie siege in Malton. I had a player encamped in Caiger mall for almost a month, trying to build up some xp and such, and the amount of zombie players outside was astounding. It just built up.
That is not the problem.
The problem i have is that the most you can do with a dead body is remove it from the building, which places them right outside, ready to revive and break the walls right back down again. Thus, as zombies trickle in, one by one, there is nothing the survivors can do. They just have to wait for the inevitable, which could be argued any which way about realism, but it sucks for survivors who want to really dig in and defend.
I suggest we add a new function, of being able to move dead bodies that are already outside to adjacent blocks. Perhaps this could be a new skill to be learned, under medical, like "body bag skillz" or something better then that. It could cost 2 or 5 AP per block or something, so it isn't completely easy, but could be used to take sieges to a deeper level of play, for zombie and survivor a like. more complicated strategy would be needed, communication, safety... i think it could add a lot to those who like having a home base to defend.

Kill Votes
- Vague Really, if you're going to put this to a vote, then you should 1. Not remove the Subst:SuggestionVoting template and 2. Be more descriptive. Options are a big no-no here. Remember, Talk:Suggestions is your friend. --Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 02:51, 6 July 2008 (BST)
- Kill - A solution is needed, but this isn't it. In the Zombie movies, zombies could eventually be killed - it would be better and more realistic to strengthen headshot to simulate that rather than imagining people carrying zombies any distance (which isn't really a part of the genre). --Pgunn 03:47, 6 July 2008 (BST)
- Kill - As above, the suggestion is too vague. Remember also, if you were faced with zombies that you knew most certainly WOULD stand up again... you probably wouldn't want to risk getting bit. --Uncle Bill 04:14, 6 July 2008 (BST)
- K-k-kill No. player moving is one of the big non-nonos. Unsigned vote struck --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 06:18, 6 July 2008 (BST)
- Kill- Not only is this incomplete, and a dupe, but it is a pied piper skill and is a no-no. --BKM 00:33, 7 July 2008 (BST)
- Kill - God damn it, this was my first suggestion, so sorry for messing up the format or whatever, but i didn't even think of the zerging stuff, and i definitly didn't know this had been suggested before. so from the guy who even wrote it, kill it. Tylerisfat 01:14, 7 July 2008 (BST)
Spam/Dupe Votes
- Spam/Dupe - Completely useless. Even if it cost only 1 AP to move the zombie, it would still be worthless. You see, you have to come back from where you move the zombie. This means that you pay twice the distance to location X, while the zombie pays the same cost only once, to get back. Also, I'm pretty sure this is a dupe, but am too tired to find a link. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 03:21, 6 July 2008 (BST)
- Spam To vaugue to actually vote on, and also a bad idea. Survivors spending 2+ AP move a body (which might be a fellow defending survivor) a block would actually HURT their defense, as it would cost survivors more AP to transport the body than it does for the zombies to move back to the siege. Also, the lack of dead bodies outside the mall would make the siege look smaller than it is, which might make recruiting help for defense harder, or inspire survivors to stick around and get killed when its a lost cause. Also, this suffers the zerging kiss of doom; it lets you have one character spend AP to move another. Level 1 scouts hauling zombie strike teams across the city so they don't have to spend any AP on movment? Yikes.
And as a note, stretedgies already ARE deep; get away from the "home base to defend" idea, and think "nomadic scavengers and settlers". Swiers 04:18, 6 July 2008 (BST) - Spam - No pied piper suggestions. Moving another character is verboten. Besides, the only reason you can hold up in a seige at all at your current level of play is because the game is completely broken. --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 06:17, 6 July 2008 (BST)

- Spam - As everyone above. No pied piper. And, survivors are not meant to "dig in" anyway, they are designed to be mobile, not to "stand and die". Adapt and evolve your tactics. Now, cycle this out, please. --WanYao 08:40, 7 July 2008 (BST)
