Vantar

Over 4 months on the wiki, with 2500 edits. He's almost singlehandedly reduced the uncategorised pages from 1500 to under 10, has been active in the admin area of the wiki and has created a number of locations pages (including grouped pages). • Vouch - I have some issues havin such a good contributor being promoted to mod. Since most of the times a user simply stop doing whatever positive he was doing before becomming a mod and just get into the utter madness of wikidrama.   You have a good point, and it's sort of why I decided to nominate Vantar (and Zombie Slay3er below). I've found that I've almost slowed to a stop on the locations pages I used to be doing, because whenever I get the time/motivation to do something productive around here, there's always an admin queue somewhere that I know is waiting for attention.   I really don't think that's a good argument against promoting people who deserve it. We've got plenty of sysops who manage to stay out of all of that (I'm attempting to make a bit of a reform in that direction, actually). • Abstain - Both him and Zombie Slay3r, along with some other background wiki contributors, are a kinda weird decission for me to make. While Boxy was a clear choice to me, as I had an idea of how he was, I don't have a good idea of how these guys are apart from that they're hard working wiki users.   In that case I'll try my best to keep my introduction positive, I started playing Urban Dead at some point around September 2005 and started working on the wiki in October 2006. Most of my early work was done on my group's page but after I noticed the number of pages on Special:Uncategorizedpages, I started a small war with this page. Working on categorizing all the pages on the wiki gave me a chance to learn more about templates and tables. I'm still working on categorizing pages but I've also been working on maintaining Wiki Questions and and I've started to mess around with locations pages, I have yet to figure out what my next big project will be but I'm thinking about either going through the existing categories and making sure everything is in the right place or making pages for every location listed on Special:Wantedpages. In addition to mass categorization I have made a few templates {although they were mostly for use in categorization), I've made pages for nearly ever square in Peppardville and I've have helped out on the Wiki Questions page. I would like to become a sysop so that I could help out on the wiki in ways that a normal user can't, such as helping clear the Move Request or Speedy Delete queues but a majority of my work has been and will continue to be with the special pages, mostly Uncategorized, Broken/Double Redirect, and Wanted pages.
