Hey, check out the page for the DHPD they've done some huge updates in the last while. looks awesome. I like how they have testimonials. great idea. what do you think of writing a weekly battle log? try and build some history, and also so we can see how our operations go? let me know. --Jack S13 T! PC 14:48, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

That's a fancy looking page. I think weekly would be too recent. History is fine, but you don't want to give away an information about ongoing operations, so waiting until an operation is complete is probably a good idea. --PdeqTalk* 17:25, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Good point. perhaps keeping it internal would be best? see, i thought bi-weekly would leave to long, and events would get left out, or forgotten. we could go metric and update every ten days. a sort of middle ground? That sort of calender is harder to track though. --Jack S13 T! PC 18:57, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

You could keep a regular log on the secure forums, and when an operation is actually complete then you could transfer that information to the wiki. --PdeqTalk* 21:26, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

hey, i've updated the group page quite a bit. Checkout the links for tours and minigames. how do you think a forum would best work for the Predators Cup? should it be part of the S13 forum? or a whole seperate one? --Jack S13 T! PC

On that baseball bat suggestion

Actually, both of his suggestions are still up for voting, and neither one has the "removed" template on it. Unless that changes, my dupe stands. --Ms.Panes 00:27, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Flare gun for zombies.

My suggestion was only on discussion, the main point was balance, I had the idea that afterwards you used up all your AP for the day, so 15damage, for all your AP, making it a once a day type skill, but people didnt like it, or the idea you collapse afterwards i suggested.--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 15:15, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Great suggestions Pdeq! looks like you're going into PR. That's a good point about why it is under bite but i'd like to explain my thoughts(not to debate, but 'cause i thought it good conversation). Feeding drag can only be used on survivors with 12hp or less. Skull smash only with 10hp or less. so my logic is that a zed needs to learn how to drag them into the street, and then learn he can crack thier head open for gooey goodness! it would be great to see this implemented, I'd have a blast using this with my dulston based rotter. --Jack S13 T! PC 15:00, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

That's interesting logic. I'd make a few changes if I were to write that suggestion again, but it's too late now. Honestly, I had no strong opinion about the tree. And yeah, I would so love to try this out. Fingers crossed that Kevan actually implements it. --PdeqTalk* 23:45, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

RE:udtool

Um...you know when you download UDTool and start Firefox, you see 4 UD theme buttons that were not there before? Click "UD i.g.e", go down to "Toolbar Preferences", and check off "Enabled Fixed Position" under the map section. And that's pretty much it. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 14:54, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Lol, wrong extension Axe, you're thinking UDToolbar. All UDTool does is color names, all z-UDTool does is color names, provide attack buttons, and make the list easier to interpret.--Karekmaps?! 15:02, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Damn...I knew I had way too many UD extensions... --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 15:15, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
You seen Moratal's GM script? It's very nice.--Karekmaps?! 15:22, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Holy crap! I have that one too! Damn...I really did lose count with how many extensions I've downloaded... --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 15:24, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks guys. --PdeqTalk* 23:10, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Moving Talk:Suggestions Content

Include everything on the suggestion, not just the actual discussion. The proposal too.--Karekmaps?! 05:17, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Oh, okay. Sorry, I'll do that in the future. --PdeqTalk* 05:25, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Sig. edit

How do you edit your Signature? do i need a template? oh, and how'd you link your pages like that? -- Jack13 17:15, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Yeah... i'm half lost on that signature stuff. just wanted to add some colour, but holy... anyway, i wanted to say, now that you've looked ove my group subpage aka the field manual, if you have any ideas on how to spiffiy it up that would be great! see you in roywood! -- Jack13 15:49, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Looks like you've got that signature working now. Nice job. I'll have a look at your groups stuff later when I have time. --PdeqTalk* 16:30, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

I had now idea about the fire axe / crowbar ratio. thaks for the heads up. oh, and thanks for hte help on the field manual, i've started making sub pages so it's not a sing huge list of information. i need to add in a nav tool so it's easier to float back and forth.

found a great spot to set up. managed to revive ruckert. can't post on the forum from where i am. --Jack S13 T! PC 20:31, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Type: Skill
Scope: Zombies
Description: Don't you just hate it when you spend a bunch of ap bashing at the cades, only to run out when you've almost got them down. And if it's a populated building, chances are some person's gonna log in and build up the cades again before you can finish breaking them down. Well, I'd like to suggest a way for you to signal other zombies that you've almost got the cades down and they should come quick and finish the job. This skill would work similar to feeding groan, only you could "smash glass" when the cades are at lightly (or loosely, if you guys think it should be that) or lower. The idea is that you've broken down enough boards over the windows to smash some glass (but wait wouldn't we run out of glass...well yeah, we'd also run out of fuel, food, etc, but let's ignore that like we do all the others). This skill could be purchased for 100xp under the Memories of Life tree (any thoughts on if it should be a subskill of a skill under that tree?).

After starting this, I found Pounding Hands in PR. It's similar, but the key differences here are (1) like feeding groan, zombies within a several block radius could hear it (not just one block) (or maybe make it so the chance a zed hears it is proportional to his distance, for a maximum of 4 blocks); and (2) this skill is not automatic. That is, you must spend an ap if you want to signal, and you don't have to signal.

Discussion (Smash Glass)

Um... I just got a much better suggestion through to peer reviewed that deals with this. --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 11:05, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

Yours costs an AP and only can be heard for 5 mins, grim... as I said in my kill vote, that's pretty much useless... this would at least actually help ferals. --WanYao 11:58, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
I also like that mine (as well as the one I pointed out in PR) only lets you signal when the cades are low. Wan Yao, any thoughts on how to improve my suggestion before I take it over to voting? (I'd also like to note that "smash glass" also takes an ap, since a free action would get spammed.) --PdeqTalk* 21:03, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
