The IWM is now back and better than ever after a long and hard war the Imperial War Machine was granted leave for a undisclosed amount of time to rest and rearm after a job well done with a stunning defeat over communist forces which was proclaimed as a great day for the EMPIRE, and the great galactic democracy. Although their absence has encouraged communist elements to feel free to move back in and continue their traitorous activities. As a result the IWM has been redeployed to once and for all wipe this scourge from the face of the planet and the undead creations which they use as their allies and minions.

Dakerstown is a suburb that has seen a lot of action. The Imperial War Machine had previously enacted a policy of general hostility and fought several wars in an attempt to drive other groups out, for the good of the planet. For quite some time it was in a state of civil war between the IWM and several communist alligned factions. It is currently a battleground between local survivor groups the Urban Guerillas and FUACK on the side of communism, and on the zombie side Extinction. The Blue Aegis Group calls this suburb home. The IWm is now back and this time fighting for complete annihilation of all communist and their minion undead forces.

The Dakerstown suburb has the following active radio stations.

Freq: 26.01: North-West Malton
Freq: 28.61: St. Ansgar's (Revenants)

Dakerstown was the site of some of the first zombie-human interaction, as both zombies and humans initially gravitated towards the corners of the city. Some of this action (on the part of the zombies) was coordinated via the mailing list, and was thus an early example of metagaming.

Dakerstown is also notable as it was the last suburb to discover the location of its mobile phone mast and was the first to be given the classification of Ghost Town.

Dakerstown is a suburb that has seen a lot of action. It has a long history of conflict between the fascist Imperial War Machine and communist groups, namely the Urban Guerillas, FUACK, and their allies on the side of communism and other leftist ideologies. Since the defeat of Imperial War Machine in 2009 the group known as FUACK has dissolved with some members joining the Urban Guerillas.
