Mrh az Hrangh? Rrrgang nah z Hrangh-zam. RGang hab mahr zambahz, an manah harmanz brang bang-bangz. Harmanz arh nah habbah; zambahz maz hag mahr harmanz! - Wolfgang Puck 16:44, 17 October 2008 (BST)
- RGang now has a wiki. http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/RGang feel free to make any changes you like.
- And is kinda borrowing part of a message board, at http://z6.invisionfree.com/Tikhon_Medical/index.php (I'm an admin, sign up and I'll grant access so you can see the RGang stuff. Not really worried about the Tikhon stuff - there's not much there but us talking about cheesy poofs.) - Wolfgang Puck 22:55, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

6/14 Frank - Sorry man, been forgetting to check our page for messages. I got the impression from your message that you may be interested in joining us? We'd be happy to have you if you are. We do most of our discussions on the Mornington Wiki discussion page, so I've miss quite a few comments. Let me know if you are interested in joining on there. We could still use some more hands around Mornington and help Team Zombie Hardcore in North Blytheville since their NT building is vital to our survival. Alts
Please just stick to one account, as it gets really confusing when you don't, okay?--Gage 14:44, 19 October 2006 (BST)
- Hey. I'm really only using this one...the other two were more metagaming alts and only used in that respect. You'll notice I only vote and mostly contribute with this one. Daniel Hicken 14:56, 19 October 2006 (BST)
Zombie Linguistics
My data turns out to be very disorganized... I've just been copy/pasting stuff haphazardly into several Word files, on two different computers, and some is in e-mails I've sent myself from school. I wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten about this, but I'll need a little time to gather this stuff together. The best data by far is my transcript of the Broadway Zombies' production of Raahan G!ng, complete with between-acts banter between us zambahz and our harman hranz in the audience. I think you'll like it. :) --Dr Ransom 22:55, 23 October 2006 (BST)
- Sounds interesting. I think it will help that we have different linguists, as right now my corpus consists largely of my interplay with Wolfgang/Rrrgang, and I have to say I'm wanting to strike my comments, as I'm not nearly fluent, and I'm biased with my linguistics knowledge. Send it on over. :)Daniel Hicken 23:07, 23 October 2006 (BST)
Wolfgang! One of my alts is hanging out with the Lebende Tote, and one of them quoted him on their forum. Seemed like an interesting guy. --Dr Ransom 19:32, 24 October 2006 (BST)
- My main alt's with him. My others are in Ridleybank(ish) and in one of the Malls. Daniel Hicken 19:33, 24 October 2006 (BST)
Would you be Frank Biddles then? Doc Smith posted up his profile and said Frank nibbled on him. The Lebende Tote forum is all afire with curiosity as to who/what RGang is... perhaps you could fill me in? --Dr Ransom 13:01, 25 October 2006 (BST)
- Frank's a tad confused these days ... He's been "hugging" and "nibbling" on a lot of things. It's his first time semi-conscious as a zed. :) (And what's a nibble between friends?) RGang is just that, Wolfgang Puck's gang of friends. Basically it's him and me hanging out in Grigg Heights keeping his "home" (St. Wolf's Hospital) free from humans. Not a true group, not like the Lebende Tote, and definitely not competition of _any_ kind. Consider them allies in blocking harman access to the hospital. Daniel Hicken 14:44, 25 October 2006 (BST)
"Can you invite them to the forum? The Totes are not looking to push anyone around/give orders to. Undead don't compete against one another until after the branz have been spilled. :) If they want, we will give them inner forum access. Oh, and frank can nibble as much as he likes. He's a low level. ;)" Thus saith Doc Smith! If you'd like, you and Wolfgang should come to the LT forum http://docsmith.proboards77.com/ --Dr Ransom 11:37, 26 October 2006 (BST)
- P.S. As my RL has abandoned me for a while, I am going to edit my data now. It should be posted later tonight! --Dr Ransom 04:55, 27 October 2006 (BST)
- P.P.S. Well, it's a start: R!ahn G!ng at the Zoo --Dr Ransom 11:02, 27 October 2006 (BST)
Welcome to Griggs RGang! Ransom's right, we've been wondering who the other horde in town was for some time now. And yea, there's no competition. In fact, if an alliance is what ya'll want.....I offer it now. We're always looking for friends that we can pillage the town with. http://docsmith.proboards77.com/ is the link to our board, if you have one...I'd love to talk. I'm an Elder with the Totes (also the second oldest standing member of the horde). Please let us know if your interested. We'll even help you hold onto Wolfgang's Hospital and his surrounding property if you ever ask for help. We are only concerned with the NT building (Merson)......and of course the Night Clubs. Balistic likes to drink and chase women.--Balistic 15:24, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
You're probably inactive now too, but thanks for taking care of Zamgrh. Yeah I stepped away from the game awhile back. Hope you enjoyed the Zamrhmz that I used to say to unsuspecting survivors before biting them. ;-) --Gerbil 04:50, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- Nope, not inactive, still kicking, and working on Zmargh. ;) I've got two characters, one in Grigg Heights, Frank Biddles and the other (and you'll appreciate this) Nome Chompsgi (deliberately misspelled.). Any further contributions you may bring are endubitably welcome! Daniel Hicken 00:14, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
Quartly Library Appearance
Hey Frank! Wolfgang wants to know if you're coming to see his speech at Quartly Library in Roftwood. Should be Saturday. He'll be doing it in kizombie, and although the audience says they're pretty well versed, if you get CR'ed he could use a translator. They also want to know if you'll give a lecture on linguistics. Elbert Gray, alt of Wolfgang January 19, 2007.
- Mrh? *cough* I'd be tickled to hear a lecture at Quartly Library...will someone be there to CR me, as I'm currently of the undead persuasion? When you say they, are you meaning the Undead University? I'd be delighted to expound the good word of KiZombie to "mah zambah brazzaz!" Daniel Hicken 23:25, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- I mah be late in coming, as I'm just now leaving Griggs, and I don't think I'll make it if it's Saturday, Monday would give me time to be there and prepare a lecture. Daniel Hicken 00:42, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Monday it is, then. Yes, they'll CR you. They offered Wolfgang a revive at an NT building, but that... just wouldn't be Wolfgang then. If you translate, have some fun with it. Ad lib. If Wolfie goes "graaaagh!" you have free rein to say any crazy thing you want. Wolfgang's about 20 moves away from the library, so he's getting close.Elbert Gray, alt of Wolfgang January 19, 2007.
- Frank's in Reganbank, so he's got a way to go. :*( Daniel Hicken 04:43, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- He's now in Galbraith HIlls. Daniel Hicken 20:52, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Aw, you're getting close. Wolfgang is down in front of the library, they politely put me down without headshot. Naz harmanz. Elbert Gray, alt of Wolfgang January 21, 2007.
- I'm actually now inside of the library. They revived me, but I was headshot in St-whatever it is to the west. So I'm only 40 AP now. Daniel Hicken 22:24, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Gah! I just used all my AP smashing the barricades, but didn't get inside. I'm going to have to wait until Tuesday, say around 6pm Mountain time. Sorry 'bout that. Elbert Gray, alt of Wolfgang January 22, 2007.
- Not a problem, I had to use most of mine to bash them down. How will you get in? They've jacked them back to EHB+2, I think! Daniel Hicken 01:49, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hey Wolfie, they'll have the 'cades open for you at 6 so you can walk in, tomorrow.(MST). And they say lay down so that azzgrabbar harmanz nah garr mah zambah brazzah. Ok? Daniel Hicken 04:19, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- "SweetIrony said "Frank, if you and Wolfgang could let us know when he's going to speak, we could coordinate having a couple of librarians take down the cades for him. Also, he probably shouldn't stand until he sees open doors." (4 minutes ago)" (what they said) Daniel Hicken
Wolfgang will be ready. He's headshot, but should be close to 50 AP by 6:00 MST. Standing and entering the library shouldn't be a problem if they lower the 'cades. BTW: "Az magrabhan ahn?" = "Is the microphone on?" Elbert Gray, alt of Wolfgang January 23, 2007.
- ROFL! Daniel Hicken 22:55, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
That rocked! Kinda tough with the need to refresh and all, but you did a great job with the translations. Thanks for the effort! I hope someone gets the whole conversation for posterity. BTW, "Mrh! Hag! Barg!" = "Live! Love! Eat!", the real Wolfgang Puck's signature phrase, like Emeril Lagasse's "BAM!" Elbert Gray, alt of Wolfgang January 23, 2007.
- Here you go, Wolf. Daniel Hicken 03:11, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
No, I wasn't there for either speech, though I've read the transcript of Wolfgang's speech. I was in the library yesterday for Huey P. Long's speech, which was in human-language but was followed by a discussion in kiZombie. Buddhagazelle 15:57, 30 March 2007 (BST)Buddhagazelle

- "Man, am hangrah... Zah hangrah... Gabbah-gabbah magh Rrrgang hangrah zambah."
- "Rrrgang maz zzzz... Mabah habbah hangrah Hranghz branz gamarrah."
- "I'll be translating for our guest. Is the mic on? Testing, Testing, 1,2,3"
- "I'm Wolfgang Puck. I'm going to spill my rotten brains (?) Many humans see zeds and scream ZOMBIES! RUN! and Run"
- "It's nice because running human brains are more nice than human-burger-brains. But hungry zombies are going to eat humans, running or not running. Crazy humans see zombies grab brains, and say Zombies Only Eat Brainz! It's not true."
- "Brains are nicer, but zombies also eat arms, testicles and breasts. The RGang group is going to grab porpoise and hippopotamus in the Malton Zoo."
- "It's not grabbing humans! It's grabbing animals! Alright, the porpoise wasn't there and the hippo grabbed me. Are humans happy zeds plan to eat animals? No."
- "Do Humans say Thanks, RGang Zeds!? No. Humans brought guns. Again. Wankers. And humans wonder why Zombies attack them!"
- "Why zeds have BBQ sauce, zeds eat many things. BBQ sauce is nice. I've had a human sish-kebab. Sish-kebabs are nice. Why BBQ Sauce? It's nicer!"
- "Some humans say Emeril Lagasse is in Malton. I'm not happy. I don't go BAM! BAM! BAM! I ate Emeril Lagasse with BBQ Sauce. You MUST have BBQ Sauce to eat Emeril Lagasse."
- "I hug humans, not harm them. Why not humans? Zombies don't eat many brains. Humanz have Necro-Techs (Revive Men) and zombies eat again! Maybe it's a recycling program! It's nice! Very smart!"
- "So, remember - Why/Revive me! Hug! Eat! And maybe someone's eating!"
- "That's my speech. Any questions?"
- "..."
- "Wolfgang, I have a question. Why did you choose to remain a zombie, rather than be revivified in a NT Building?"
- "*Ahem* Well, wolfie doesn't seem to want to answer that one, so, Other questions?"
- "Man. I'm hungry, so hungry. All this talk makes me a hungry zombie."
Frank's Treatise
- "Wolfie's going to sleep now, but promises to eat my brains tomorrow."
- "Now, I don't want you to misunderstand. Hugging and biting among zombies, and especially friends across the life-divide is a sign of deep friendship."
- "As a former Professor of Linguistics at Malton University, I'd like to take my remaining action points today to tell you of my research into Zombie Linguistics."
- "I'd also like to ask that one of you kindly post this speech to my talk page on the wiki. (http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/User_talk:Daniel_Hicken)"
- "Many have suggested that Death Rattle speech and zombie speech in general is nothing more than the false-connects of a dead or dying brain."
- "Having crossed the life-divide, I can clearly tell you that this is not the case."
- "Having spent time among the zombies, working with my fellow linguist, Nome Chompsgi, we've come to a more concise view of Zombese or Zamgrh."
- "In my research I have found that Zombese is much more akin to the Creoles that are found in the Caribbean."
- sarah tonin said "Mr Wolfgang Puck, Mr Frank Biddles... good show."
- "I apologize, I'm collecting my thoughts."
- sarah tonin said "Quite the translator you are Frank, where might one go to study up on these skills, while still being breathing that is?"
- "Zombies, because of the virus that is infecting their bodies have a reduced ability in their motor cortex, especially the mouth, although this fades with the progression of the virus post-mortem."
- "This is why most zombies don't develop the ability to speech until some time after their transition. In my personal experience, and through extended studies of my Zombie comrades, our Broca's Regions and Wernicke's Areas remain fully functional."
- "(Sarah, I'll answer that in just a moment. :) ) What this means is that these two speech production centers work just as well as before."
- "Zombies should be viewed not as lesser beings, but just as the deaf or blind before the plague fell upon Malton, as those with a disability, but with the ability to surmount it and move forward, enjoying the world around them."
- "Zombies must think around the words they wish to say, and many times, simplify, as their ability to speak is impaired through their motor cortex. Thinking back to Wolfgang's Speech, I've realized I mistranslated, but I will address that now."
- "When Wolfgang said, Mrh! Hag! Barg! it literally translated as What! Hug! Eat!, but true to zombie form, there is a deeper meaning, Mrh signifies the zombie desire to remain animate, hug, as the only expression of love and friendship."
- "Barg of course means Eat. And understanding this now, we know that Wolfgang meant Live! Love! Eat!, his chef's mantra. Zombese is a complex language, and while it is not always apparent, with many zombies speaking in code, those that speak from"
- "their hearts speak the true form of Zombese or Zamgrh. Fortunately, Nome and myself have achieved a certain level of codification of the language, and is available through any necronet connection."
- "We've paired up with Oxford University to bring this to the general public, as we're not sure our Plague remains only here in Malton."
- "Those interested can access our data here: *turns toward white board*"
- "and http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Guides:The_Zombie_Lexicon"
- "This is your best resource for speaking zombese without crossing the life-divide yourself, to answer your question, Sarah."
- "Any questions?"
- Dale McGillicuddy said "So, am I correct in my assumption that Amarah Ragazzah is Emeril Lagasse? I hate that guy. I've got some tasty BBQ sauce if you want to hunt 'im up and eats him, Wolfgang."
- "Yes, proper names are often the most difficult thing to translate, and yes, he was referring to Emeril Lagasse, which he said he ate."
- "Other questions?"
- Wolfgang Puck said: "Mrh zah manah harmanz nah gabbah-gabbah g!zambah? Az marh naz! Ah mah Gaz.... Rrrgang maz zzzz agan..."
- "Why is it that so many humans don't speak kiZombie? Is very nice! Ohmygod....I must sleep again...."
- "Good question, simply put, English speakers are lazy. I know, I am one. We don't get out of our comfort zones."
- "Well, it's been a pleasure addressing your fine group. We both hope to come back at some future date to address you."
- "Please post the transcript of the whole session on my talk page, someone."
- ClarkClarkson said "I'd say, just copy/paste the conversation into your user page? ;)"
- "Yes, but see, mines all fragmented because I don't have it all on one screen as you, the listeners do."
- ClarkClarkson said "Gah, I'm sorry, I closed down my browser window before I read your reply. :( I hope there's another person to help you out."
- "HAH! Nah grab Rrrgangz RNA!!! Az nah naz! Rrrgang... Maz... Zzzzzzz....."
- "ROFLMAO! I never noticed he Rattles in his sleep..."
- "Clark I hope so as well, and I'm now out of AP."
Database of Texts
Is there a corpus of zombie texts anywhere on the UD Wiki that can be used for linguistic analysis? Having not found one, I've started a page which so far has only the "Our Father" translated into kiZombie. It's always the missionaries who do the first language-work, isn't it? - I've been building one, however, most of what I've got has come from myself and Wolfgang Puck, some from the Mall Tour, although not much, so it's a very biased sample. I just wish that we could convince people to _NOT_ use the translators. Grr. Daniel Hicken 22:37, 28 March 2007 (BST)
- Oooh I have SO much for you!! Where are those files.... I've been collecting stuff for about a year now. I promise to add all my stuff to your corpus at some point. Maybe after I write my RL linguistics papers... ;) --Dr Ransom 03:05, 17 April 2007 (BST)
- There's Texts and Texts/DHCorpus. Thanks! Daniel Hicken
Forts
I haven't managed to visit one yet. I have an alt heading towards one as fast as its AP will recharge. I know it's inspired by my suggestion but it's obviously very different and I can't wait to get a survivor inside and see what it's like.--Jon Pyre 01:36, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- Someone's gotten into Fort Creedy. Quite interesting, I _must_ say. Daniel Hicken 01:38, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Malton Science Group
Dr. Joe Parsec of the MSG here. I just noticed your affiliation with us, though I apologize for the lack of response from us you may have faced. It has been some time since I've taken a look through this wiki. if you're interested in more information, let us know. Hopefully I can find a way to get you into our Google group. We could use some fresh faces there. - Joe Parsec 03:17, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- Hey Joe, My alt, Viand Frais is currently asleep/dead in the Buttonville cemetary, right next to the Pryor Building. The IP I'm currently on has 2 moves left for today, so I'll not be able to move Mr. Frais until some time later today, which gives you ample time, should you wish, to tell me where I can find you to redouble our efforts. Let me know about the Google group! Daniel Hicken 18:08, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
RE: Gold Star
Thanks mate for the gold star, but can you tell me in more detail of what you mean by using templates from the wiki? Like, templates in the wiki pages, or in my profile page?--Dux Ducis 05:45, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- No problem, they aren't that hard to use - copy and past the location types, etc. I'm glad to see that work here on the wiki is recognized and appreciated! Oh, and how do you do indents or tabed spaces in the wiki? (for example, your reply in my talk page)--Dux Ducis 05:50, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- scratch that, figured it out already--Dux Ducis 05:54, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- I love how user-friendly wiki-code is. Daniel Hicken 05:55, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, its really simple and logical, anybody can start using it really.. but then again, I'm pretty familiar with html already
Chudleyton Museum Page
I'm thinking of clearing up the museum page into something more manageable, or breaking it up into separate museum pages, since there isn't much to say on most of them. Why have one page for only three museums anyway.. Do you have any suggestions, wiki brother? http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Chudleyton_Museums --Dux Ducis 05:59, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- It actually seems the convention to have them all on the same page if they're stubbs...but they put in all the locationblock templates for each one to give people the rough idea where they are. Daniel Hicken 06:04, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
A request by Wbleak24
I would like for you to criticize my work since you have a mind like my own and try to look on all sides, I think you'll love what I have in mind. You can drop me a line on this page>>>>>--Wbleak24 08:56, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Families of Malton
I want to thank you for showing interest in the project. I do love that you're adding to the list of Families. If it is possible could you add more to the families that you have written? That way they're more descriptive. --Sir Sonny Corleone RRF CRF DORIS Hunt! 23:27, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- Will do, I was just getting a couple set up for me to work with. :)
- Noice. Thanks again for helping with the project. --Sir Sonny Corleone RRF CRF DORIS Hunt! 23:59, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Cheers for the userbox to organise my hideously arranged list of filthy images. Many thanks. --Monsieur 16:33, 5 March 2007
Template:Move
I notice you changed the Move template that is used on the Move Requests page, the changes you made have resulted in most of the information on UDWiki:Moderation/Move_Requests/Archive being replaced with {{{#}}} so for the time being I have unmade you changes to the template, if you are interested in improving the Move Requests page there is you might want to check out this --Vantar 20:05, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Merci --Zyll GIFD 00:10, 22 June 2007 (BST)

Your Linguistic Template
Hi. I've seen, liked, and used the {{Zombielinguist}} template you made. Hope that's ok. If not, please let me know and I'll remove it.
I have a novice's interest in Zamgrh, and am principally using it to tell bad jokes as Babba Rab Hab'Grahn.
Thanking you in advance, --Richardhg 23:46, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
