Hey man, your sig is going wrong. The large subscript is overlapping not the line below. Can you either make the subscript normal size, not subscript the big letters or make some other fix? Thanks. -- RoosterDragon 17:48, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- Your change has brought it so it only skims the top of the line below, still mildly annoying but I'll live with it. -- RoosterDragon 16:26, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

I know plenty about CSS and HTML (or XHTML 1.0 take your pick) I know enough to get what I want done, and that's fine with me.the shoemaker 04:06, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I made a new image page as you suggested, but you've undone the changes to the Ackland Mall Security badge, I created a new image file instead of overlapping, this was all done with the blessing of AMS. Not sure why it has been changed back. Sorry am new to the wiki. How can I correctly update the AMS badge image? Sorry about this, I am trying to do it right... --Lady Clitoria 06:36, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Okay, that makes sense now, it was Nuerotoxic2213 who gave me permission, although he gave my ALT Zolam permission, not realizing that Lady Clitoria is my wiki member. Will explain to him. Sorry about all this, and thanks. --Lady Clitoria 06:50, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

- Sorry, I didn't see your insistence on me answering your question until just now. Frankly, I just wanted the community to tell me what their expectations were if I were to become a sysop in the future, I wanted to know what I had to work on to be more eligible. I just wasn't too big on telling everyone that because it would simply look like I was using that motive as an excuse for being so blatantly unsuccessful. Concerning the move of Brain Virus
Thanks for informing me of the move. I didn't intend to clutter the wiki and I wanted to put the article in the right space. However, I don't understand the protocol on that. Shouldn't a proposal for a movement and change to game balance have it's own space and not be relegated to my character page? I'm not being sarcastic or snotty here, (I always like to clarify that with written communication since the same sentence can be interpreted with different meanings). As a couple of examples, I wrote an article on crap tactics and one on civility. Both were intended to enhance the game. I have the same intent with Brain Virus and I would like to develop the idea with a discussion area where the community can contribute and shape the movement, with the ultimate goal of bringing balance to urban dead.
What's wrong with putting it on the main space? If not in the main space then where else could it go? Perhaps as a sub domain of developing suggestions? Thanks for your help in advance! --Giles Sednik CAPDSWA 06:40, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

All it takes is a certain level of commitment to making stupid fucks shut up. Wiki Question
Hi.
Me and a friend wish to start a chop in an auto repair. I have seen on the wiki that others have done that and named it after them self and edited the page. We wish to do that too. Please tell me if and how I can do that.
Kindly regards // Michael Sleeman, 19:52, 17 April 2009
- If you want to make a group or a page, all you have to do is type what name you want into the 'search' bar on your left. So if I want to make a group called "The Happy Dancers" I would type that into the search bar and click 'go'. Once it tells you the page doesn't exist, you click on 'create page' and from there onwards you can make and edit the page under that name. I hope that answers your question... If not, just say so. - You can actually re-create it if that is the case. We thought it may have been a mistaken dangerreport page. If we were wrong, then there should be nothing wrong with you actually just starting the page again. It only had 4 words on it originally anyway. DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) OFFLINE 11:11, 20 April 2009 (BST)

Status Signess
I just realized that your current signature is set up in two templates. Sig then Status. Might it not be better to fold the status into your sig template? That way if you ever want to drop the status thing you will be able to easily? Right now you'd have to edit all your recent signings in order to remove it...that seems extraneous. Gets worse if you keep editing though, hence my presense. -- RoosterDragon 22:49, 20 April 2009 (BST)
- There are two things: I've tested with just keeping the status page blank, which seems to work so when there comes a day when I don't want this status thing, I can just blank the page and add a noinclude to tell them hands off... And if I were to throw it all into one template, well, then one months worth of old posts will have two statuses next to my name. I guess I'll just make an alternate status page, put the code into my signature and blank the old one. DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) OFFLINE 00:33, 21 April 2009 (BST)
- Well, you could trace all the inclusions of the current one and remove them, though it would indeed be a sizeable bit of work. I'm not saying blanking the template isn't an option, it just seems a bit meh to have a template with tons of calls of blank. I'm just being pedantic, no need to actually listen to my nonsense if you don't fancy. :) -- RoosterDragon 13:49, 22 April 2009 (BST)
- It's okay, just take some deep breaths... I might just do that sometime in the future when I find the time, but for now I have turned the original status page into a visual copy to a new substitute, which will hopefully eliminate duplicates in the signatures. Editing a certain building information.
Hi. I wish to editing an auto repair information on this wiki. I have spoked with the group that had write on it before and they gave me they permission to rewrite. I have also spooked with one of the largest grope in the suburb and they have no problem with me changing it.
I wish to make it an personal text based on my character and a friends character work on it now, as well as some history before and after the outbreak. What do you say? Can you give me some nice advise. :)
Thank you.
--Michael Sleeman 18:54, 21 April 2009 (BST)
- Well, what is the auto shop that you want to use? Once you find it, you can always write a short history on the page to add some flavour to the place. My only tip is try to make is as neutral as possible, because some people around here don't like it if it's a point of view article. Once you have a massive history to put on, you can always make a group and put it on your group page. You can write anything you want on there! Hope that helps. If not, just tell me the auto repair that you would like to use and I'll try and help you more. Wiki Help
Hey DDR! I really appreciate the signature help offer. I have struggled with it, but I think I've got it to where I'm okay with it. I will definitely ask you for other wiki help though, and here is my first question. If we (or anyone else) are talking about something, do we just go back and forth posting on each others talk page? Or do we "re" each other on the same page, so it stays in one place? Looking above, it appears that we keep the conversation together, do I just keep checking back?--Winton 16:11, 25 April 2009 (BST)
- Well, (this is the part you probably won't like) it goes either way. Some users will reply onto your talk page, whilst others will reply on theirs. You'll have to check your watchlist to find out who does what, and to make sure you don't miss a reply to a topic you've written on someone's talk page. It's annoying, but you get used to it eventually. You can probably tell by my talk page that I reply to comments on my own talk (it's better for archival purposes), but when I'm talking to newer users I like to reply to them directly on their talk page because its easier for them, I remember missing a lot of replies from that when I was new myself.
- I usually copy and paste conversations onto my talk page regardless of where they happen though, it's easier for others to keep track of them. DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) 16:19, 25 April 2009 (BST)
- I understand that. So if I flag the "watch" button on the top of your page, I'll get an alert that it has been modified? Possibly, but not necessarily to me, but I could then check this page?--Winton 16:26, 25 April 2009 (BST)
Template
hey, thanks for the offer of help. I've noticed a group called the Undeadites seem to be behind the recent attacks in Pitneybank, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to work that sidebar template to add them as a Zombie group on the city page (it currently lists none). Any ideas? Yamikuronue 21:10, 28 April 2009 (BST)
Re:Removing Yagoton News:
Sure thing. Normally I don't delete news posts, but this was an exception, or so I thought. I'll remember to archive it next time. --Private Mark 02:13, 30 April 2009 (BST)
Re: Barhah
Thanks, I just made it in an afternoon. I'm a former Shacker (I just got killed inside Woodroffe Mall... for a PK I did 3 years ago!) and I wanted to see what had happened since then... LUE and The Dead seem like the same sort of thing, an outside forum discovers UD and wreaks havoc, but only temporarily. Rheingold 09:06, 2 May 2009 (BST)

Where can I learn the wiki's "language"?
Hello, DanceDanceRevolution
Many thanks first of all for leaving the welcome message in my Talk page and for your kind invitation to annoy you :-) with any question I may have.
As a matter of fact, my biggest hinderance when working with the wiki is that I have no clue at all of the "language" used there (like : for indenting and the like). I learn by clicking on "edit" in other pages and guessing what each thing does. Although it works for a few small things, it is not the best way and I am always terribly afraid of accidentally changing something. I also do not know how to load new images, templates and the like and link them to a current page.
So... the question basically is, is there a place where I can read about all that (I couldn't find any but maybe I looked for the wrong keywords), or is a Mentor the quickest way?
Thanks a lot again and all the best in Malton! --Aureus 13:16, 6 May 2009 (BST)Aureus
- DDR's currently banned (not in a bad "ZOMG HE'S SUCH A VANDAL!!!!" - he asked for it so he wouldn't get distracted while doing important things,) but I'll point you to a few help pages.
- Of course, there's the wiki's own help section - but it's a tad incomplete in some parts, and not all that great. Wikipedia's cheetsheet is probably your best bet if you need a piece of code, that's your place. The Wikipedia help sections might be good if you need to go more in-depth (although you don't really have to unless you're planning on doing some more hard-core editing.
- If you've got any more questions, ask me or DDR here (he'll be automatically unbanned in a few days.) Linkthewindow Talk 13:24, 6 May 2009 (BST)
