OK, nobody really cares much about where or when this Manhunt takes place, so I'll throw in a few areas for you all to decide. Since the playing area will most likely be a 3x3 suburb area, I'm just gonna list the middle suburb. I'll also list some specific reasons for these areas.
- Lerwill Heights
- Reganbank - No Malls in the area.
- West Becktown - Caiger Mall is in the area. Who wouldn't like shooting around a famous mall?
- Havercroft - Who wants to shot the monkeys?
- Pitneybank - It'll probably be difficult to kill another contestant in Fort Creedy, since it's usually packed.

- Well, with 20 in a 3x3, it averages to one person per 45 blocks, as compared to one person per 80 blocks with a 4x4, since 4x4 is almost double the playing area. Maybe a 3x4 or 4x3? The rules so far...
- No sleeping in Malls. Malls may only be used for resupplying.
- You may not enlist the help of anyone not involved in this Manhunt. (ie: Broadcasting on the radio that one of the contestant is KOS.)
- Most kills win, whether as a zombie or a survivor. A screenshot must be provided to validate the kill.
- No teaming up with other contestants. (ie: Player1 and Player2 may not "tag team" on Player4)
- No zerging.
- No kills on a contestant will be counted if both players involved was a zombie.
- A kill at a Revive Point will not be counted.
Those are your rules so far. Anyone else wanna add something in? A Point System
Hey, for this third installation of AHMH, I'm thinking of doing a point system. What I'm thinking is something along the lines of the point system in Super Smash Bros, if you ever played it. So here I am, pitching you guys my idea. If you guys like it, we'll implement this into the rules. Basically, it's the same as the previous installments of AHMH. A kill will score you a point. However, previous installments of AHMH never took into account death count or even reviving an opponent. What I propose is if you get killed, you lose a point. If you get a revive from an opposing contestant, you lose 3 points.
To sum it up:
Killing another contestant: +1 Getting killed by another contestant: -1 Getting revived by another contestant: -3

Here's my propousal:
Killing another "living" contestant: +2 Killing another "dead" contestant: +1 Getting killed by another contestant: -1 Getting killed by another "dead" contestant: -3 Kills with punches, toolboxes and other cool stuff: +0.5

- I was thinking it over and I have a better idea. How about a 5-day ceasefire period? From July 6th-10th, we can issue a ceasefire, giving everyone some time to find revives and resupply. During this time period, it should be enough time for you to make it to Biertag and back. - Alright, a few things. First, DDR is correct. AHMH2 never actually had 20 contestants since many weren't active during the hunt (myself included). I have a few (mostly insignificant) questions to ask, namely:
- How do we report kills? What's the format? Where do we post it? Are we allowed to hide details or not? Screenshots or witness programs?
- Is there a chat we can use... I realise we're not going to be coordinating at all, but a place to shoot the breeze whilst we shoot each other might be nice/fun/interesting/distracting/a thoroughly stupid idea?
- What's it been like in the past with third-parties who view the kills? Have they reported them? Stepped in? Is any explanation necessary?
- Are we using revive points as listed on individual suburb wikipedia maps as the definitive list of where to get Mrh'd/where not to get shot as a zambah?
- Crucially, what's the playing area?

- 1) A section on this talk page will be created devoted to reporting kills. Just take a screenshot however suits your fancy. Witness programs you could use. As for the details, you can hide them if you want, but since AHMH1, no one has really hid any details. If you're seeing it in Chrome or Safari (preferably on a computer with the Cochin font), it should look best, since Firefox and Opera don't support some of the stuff I did with it (specifically alpha image masks and/or programmatically generated gradients). - I'm still not convinced. If this is a competition in killing each other, then we should all have the same time frame in which to compete, having known before the start who definitively is a fellow competitor. To allow late entries diminishes the sporting integrity (for what of a better term) of the Manhunt, and damages the confidence in it being a fair game amongst the existing competitors. And that's without yet mentioning the nature of the penalty suggestion, which is both heavy-handed and unwieldy, lacks definition for a clear interpretation in times of arbitration, and was introduced after the game had already begun without player consultation. They could join, kill me 30 seconds later, negating the late cost (assuming they enter in the first 3 days), and having been immune for 3 days of the contest.
