Hollomstown - A Learning Environment

Before the outbreaks, the Hollomstown area was best known for its cheese factory and its "pointless" plastic widget shipping industry (which later proved very "pointy" when blades intended for combine harvesters were used during the outbreak). Containing five school buildings, five museums, and a library, Hollomstown was home to many families because of the access to educational material. Its own "Museum Road" was a common destination for learned outings, due to the fact they all are on the same street - along with a clever "one ticket, five museums" campaign.

Now, however, most of the museums have been looted and turned into safe-houses for survivors in the area.

Hollomstown was also known for the large number of Russian immigrants that inhabited the area before the outbreak, whom formed various organizations. The leader of the largest of these groups was Lenov Feninshi, a terrorist best known for the Dinan Hotel Bombing.

NecroWatchDevice-Shadow.png NecroWatch

NecroWatch reported in from the Attwell Building. The scan revealed 56 zombies within the scanning range of the facility. There is a fairly even spread of zombies around the area, the only major horde was eight strong at Servatius General Hospital, all other zombies are in groups of no more than four, mostly individual.

25.96 MHz: "... Hollomstown is still active, about sixty on the streets ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... power's on across most of the area ... only a few buildings damaged though ... lights are on in the Western Building ... the Porter Building ..." --Eve Amedeus 06:20, 4 June 2009 (BST)

Based on recent External Military data, the danger level of Hollomstown has been downgraded from Very Dangerous to Moderately Dangerous. --Rat of Steel 10:20, 4 June 2009 (BST)

NecroWatchDevice-Shadow.png NecroWatch

NecroWatch reported in from the Western Building. The scan revealed 29 zombies within the scanning range of the facility. Five zombies are at the Stampfordham Cinema, which has been destroyed for showing "Shaun of the Dead" to the dead. Another group of about six in a cemetery, likely looking for a revive. The remaining zombies are milling about the area in groups of somewhere between 1 and 3.

Southeast region

Total war. The Porter Building (our only NecroTech) was ruined. The nearby Gall General Hospital has been broken into, 11 zeds inside. Escapee bases located nearby (location withheld for security reasons). Prepare a counterstrike?

Barricading Policy

Hollomstown's barricade plan was originally developed by an unknown group/user, but has undergone several changes through the efforts of a few individuals and Hollomstown Area Regional Defense. It is on display here, and its mandates are expected to be followed by all survivors in the suburb.
