Eley Way Police Department is a derelict grey-stone building surrounded by burnt-out cars. It serves as the Malton Police Department headquarters for Greentown,
and is a primary base of operations for District SW-1. All
Cops are requested to report in to MPD Command on the
forum as soon as possible.
Please do not over barricade this building! It should be maintained as an accessible safe house and free running entryway, and as such the barricades should be maintained at Very Strongly (VS+2). See the Uniform Barricading Policy for more details.

History
This police station didn't actually fall under the command of Greentown PD before the outbreak, as higher crime rates in Tapton, but a lack of space meant they needed a PD but simply couldn't fit one in. So, they built this Police Department over an abandoned wasteland in Greentown, on the border to Tapton. The PD's position right on the border allowed it to respond to disasters in Greentown as well, and thus supplemented the forces of both police forces.
Purpose

Barricading Policy
Uniform Barricading Policy suggests that since the Police Station is an essential resource building, it should be barricaded to Very Strongly Barricaded +2 (which means, barricade it up unto the point where it says "further barricading will prevent people from entering" and stop so that people without free running can still enter).--Alice Cuinn 07:00, 4 June 2007 (BST)
Eley Way Police Department is a Proud supporter of UBP by actively maintaining barricades according to local plan or UBP standard. Hospitals, Police and Fire Depts should be kept at VS. DO NOT OVER-BARRICADE. If you feel exposed in a VS building, move out of these resource buildings. Over barricading locks other people outside. It could be you looking for a VS block one day. When a building is under siege by three or more zombies, barricade limitations may be temporarily ignored, but should be returned to the preferred condition as soon as the immediate threat is alleviated. The New Year Parties have ended and the streets once again have fallen silent. The MPD wishes to bring to notice the recent attacks in North Blythville, Brookesville, and Mockridge Heights. Those 3 suburbs are in need of assistance and any volunteers who feel able are asked to participate in retaking them. With that in mind Conditions in Greentown is good, we do ask that you do not overbarricade, and maintiain the churches and Hospital at VSB so others can recieve the care they need. December 27th Lot's of zombies close to the border with Brooksville to the North, and Tapton to the East. High frequencies of brain rot detected. Situation seems to be getting more dangerous in the North-East part of town. --Funkster 13:23, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

December 24th Eley Way Police Department and Branagan Row Fire Station are under attack. There is 1 Zed inside the PD cades are currently HB; The Fire Station is worse with 6 Zed inside and 19 bodies outside the doors are closed but for how long depends on all of us. January 20th Zombies have been intermittently breaking into Marven Mall since last night, groaning and dragging survivors out over the past 12 hours. Several casualties have been noted, but local NecroTech activities continue unabated at this time, and revives seem to be going on unhampered. Unfortunately, more and more zombies appear to be gathering at Marven Mall, for what seems to be heading to a colossal fight between the 200+ survivors and zombies from different groups as well as ferals. --FLZombie 18:13, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
January 19th As of this writing, both NT facilities near Marven Mall are in zombie hands: the Pippard Building is ruined, with 17 zombies inside; the Preston Building just fell, and has 8 zeds inside. The situation evolves rapidly, don't rely on these numbers. Marven Mall itself was attacked earlier today, though the zeds were repelled quickly by resolute survivors. There are dozens of bodies lying around the area, i.e. 67 just outside Preston. Also ruined, as seen by this reporter, are Club Doran and Mear Cinema. Further coordinated strikes are almost certain. January 15th After intense fighting and perseverance, the valiant survivors managed to eject MOB zombies from both NecroTech facilities. Cleanup operations are in force, and preparations are under way to repel what promises to be a vicious counterattack by very hungry zombies that have not seen this level of resistance in several months of destruction. Hebditch and surrounding core buildings are ruined. Zombies remain relatively focused in the central region turning typically safe free-run alleys into a broken highway of death. Survivors have retreated to fallback points and Dear Street PD for the time being. Reports of zombie carollers are coming in during this festive season. December 17th Josaphat General Hospital is under attack with a breach yesterday that was repulsed, there are currently 7 standing Z's outside and 8 bodies. Over cading seems to be rife in eastern Lockettside with entry points changing on a daily basis. - Moon Bank and Norvell Library are in ruins, these are in the NW corner of the suburb. Some buildings are not at BP but Wykewood is a suburb that tends to not adhere to Standards.
