Molebank is a leafy suburb of Malton, located in the west of the city. Prior to the outbreak, it was considered to be one of the more affluent suburbs with its open spaces, parks, museums, NecroTech research offices, and religious buildings. It was also the training ground for the firefighters of Malton. It had a high percentage of second and third generation Irish immigrants.

Almost entire suburb is ruined. Almost every ruined building contains a zombie with one or two on every other block.--Lois Millard 02:01, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

The above isn't entirely true. Most TRP's have zombie in, but most other buildings are empty, and with very low repair costs. Regular zombie patrols make it very hard to survive the night.--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 14:02, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

All buildings remain ruined, with few zombies around, perhaps having moved on to brainier pastures. Poop graffiti abounds, throughout Molebank. It also appears less prolifically in the surrounding suburbs. The poop of the dead has claimed Molebank... Who will scoop it up and revive this once thriving suburb to its former poop-free glory? For sarttan, who doesn't have a wiki account: All the buildings are ruined, with zombies scattered throughout the entire suburb. Retaken buildings fall quickly. Upgrading to dangerous. --Violet Begonia Dean MCM MOB 23:29, 18 October 2008 (BST)

At least 36 zombies on the streets. Breakdown of the Tactical Resource Points:

  • 5 NecroTechs: 3 not powered, 2 ruined.
  • 1 Police dept: not powered.
  • 2 hospitals: not powered.
  • 3 factories: 1 powered, 2 not.
  • 3 auto repairs: 1 powered, 2 ruined.

There is also general ruination in the west. Given the zombie numbers, and with only 4 of the 14 TRPs ruined, this seems Moderate (although verging on Dangerous, given the low level of powered TRPs). --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 02:39, 1 October 2008 (BST)

External Military (25.96 MHz): "... leaving Molebank, counted about sixty outside ... maybe a dozen outside Felix General Hospital ... the Eglen Building is the only building with any lights on ... the whole suburb's wrecked ... the Pankhurst Building is in bad shape ..." Significant Events and Group Presence

  1. The survivor group DHPD considers this suburb part of the six-suburb Dunell Military Zone, a multi-suburb patrol and defense zone.

  2. The Church of the Resurrection considers this suburb part of their current pilgrimage.
(The following is an excerpt from the written history of the Church of the Resurrection)
Operation: Christmas Feast Following long months of Pilgrimage, the Church arrived at its destination -- St. Jude's Cathedral and the surrounding area -- just in time for the Christmas holiday. As evidence of God's Love for the Church above all others, the Church of the Resurrection met no meaningful resistance as it preached its message of Love and Tolerance. No doubt those who had announced opposition to the Church either fled in terror of our Righteous Wrath, or chose to open their juicy little hearts, lungs, kidneys, and other internal organs to the Love of Sweet Zombie Jesus.
In addition to the Cathedral itself, the Church and its allies converted all unenlightened souls in the neighboring Necrotech building, and in the godless Communist factory that sends out brainwashing signals across the suburb.
*See The Siege of 'The Temple of Our Martyred Lady' for more information on the fight for the suburb.
