2009

November 10th, 2009 - The mall was reported with power by External Military radio. -- Kittithaj 22:52, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

August 16 2009 Mall is populated and EHB+ on all sides. Suburbs around Penny Heights are in zeds' hands. 3 closest malls have been lost, an impending attack is approaching. Reinforcements are needed and are greatly appreciated. (Davian EC -09:50, 16 August 2009 (EST))

June 20 2009 Even though the mall has been taken back, many survivors are being targeted by a group known only as EVIL. Though the mall is in survivor hands, the population of the mall is kept low because of them. -Poodle of doom 20:42, 20 July 2009 (BST)

June 12 2009 Lumber Mall, even though it is still ruined, is abandoned except for a few zombies. As of writing, I am a one-man retake party, I am leading from withing the Hospital 2 blocks west of the North section of the Mall. (assuming i'm getting my directions correct) I am Sean Keanan, and any who are willing to join me, may join me in said hospital. (Kenny -14:48, 12 June 2009 (EST))

June 10 2009 briefly repaired to low cade levels -wont last long - only 5 zeds outside but no survivors inside - probably easily 'take-back-able' if anyone is around. --Betamaxx ◆◆◆ 13:15, 10 June 2009 (BST)

May 13 2009 'MORE INCONSISTENT THAN AN MPs EXPENSE FORM....' The state of lumber mall has been changing constantly over the last month following its ruin in the Mall Tour '09. It has gone from 'in zombie hands' to 'under attack' and back again, but as of yet has not acheived a stable status Groups of humans having been working independently to make the mall a stable, safe haven for survivors, however little has actually been acheived. Hopefully with the recent reintroduction of many organized prosurvivor groups to Penny Heights the mall should begin to sustain a safe EHB state. What the mall really needs is repopulating - a large survivor support. --Betamaxx ◆◆◆ 21:30, 13 May 2009 (BST)

April 9 2009 North DWOR with 11 standing zombies and 3 bodies. South is about to fall, with 1 survivor left, 1 zombie and 5 bodies. The survivor population has fled the mall, dispersed throughout the surrounding buildings. Only 2 zombies stand at the junkyard revive point, suggesting most survivors fled or joined the ranks of the undead. It is advised that survivors head to nearby Joachim Mall, which has just been reclaimed by the living, and needs reinforcing. --ORakoon 12:09, 9 April 2009 (BST)

April 7 2009 Frequent zombie break ins, but powered with a high survivor population holding out. Nearby Hospitals also under attack, but so far the area is holding. -- ORakoon 23:22, 7 April 2009 (BST)

February 7 2009 Still firmly in survivor hands, but now the PK capital of Penny Heights. At least half a dozen murders a day. If you decide to hit the Mall for a haven, check in often, or you'll wake up dead.

February 5 2009 Retaken, back in survivor hands. Powered and transmitting across Penny Heights once again. --DubStreet 06:31, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

January 26 2009 Barricaded to perfection, but the south side is not powered. A target for PKers, GKers, and such... --Sandy Skye 04:35, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

2008

December 6 2008 Currently barricaded and powered. But, remnants of the last Barhah surge also active. Status changes frequently. --Piker Pete 00:54, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

  • November 9 2008 Right now, it seems that lumber mall is in zombie hands, last i checked, there were 4 zeds inside.
  • October 27 2008 -- The mall is once again open but not yet lit, according to various radio reports and a recon by The Big Prick. Asheets 22:18, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
  • October 16 2008 Came back, took on look at this suburb and it's mall...SCREAMED, and ran straight back to Houldenbank. The MOB is all over this place! --Angusburger 18:52, 17 October 2008 (BST)
  • October 6 2008 Proud to say this is safe, but a warning; now Fort Perryn has fallen, the ferals will come rooting for more food soon...Angusburger 17:28 6 Ocober 2008 (GMT)
Why would they when they've got a perfectly good suburb to trash? --Silisquish 12:55, 7 October 2008 (BST)
  • October 2, 2008 Again. No zombies except for occasionally at the revive point (mostly mrh cows, every so often a Feral Undead or waiting-for-revive PKer). For the most part, utterly quiet. Both parts of the mall are EHB and lit. Surrounding buildings are barracaded and lit as well. --Tselita 17:00, 2 October 2008 (BST)
  • October 1, 2008 Very occasional PKer or zombie here and there. Otherwise quiet. Other than the very rare Feral Undead in the Junkyard revive point, there are no zombies outside. For over a week now. --Tselita 15:16, 1 October 2008 (BST)
  • August 24, 2008 Mall is filled with tasty treats! We just need to pound our way in!!

July 24, 2008 EHB, power,Transmitter=27.11--Dr Mycroft Chris 07:09, 24 July 2008 (BST)

  • July 10 The Mall remains at EHB and Safe. Minimal Zed activity around Mall
  • March 25 The mall is back in survivor hands. It has been barricaded to EHB. Unsure as to how many are inside (because I am a zombie still). There are no zombies directly outside, but there are a few in the surrounding neighborhoods. There is no organized body, I suspect that they are stragglers or survivors wanting a revive. War Crescent has over 30 zombies waiting for revive. Churchous Avenue has about 25 waiting. The Craddy Building (the local NT) is ruined, but there are no zombies inside of it and only one outside. Chetos 15:53, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
  • March 18 The mall's numbers have swelled over the past few hours. There are numerous reports over the radio that Joachim Mall has fallen, though to how many is unknown. Some reports have mentioned up to 300 zombies attacking Joachim Mall. Currently, there are 113 survivors in the north part of the mall, didn't check the south side. Survivors, use this oppurtunity to STOCK UP on FAK's, ammo, and syringes. We've got to hold this mall!--Whomeyayou 05:56, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
    • The mall has fallen and is in ruins. There are dozens of zombies. The nearby hospitals have also been ruined. --Chetos 18:25, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
    • There are 180+ zeds inside, 40+ outside, 40+ on the surrounding blocks, and 20+ in the adjacent buildings. It now resembles western Penny Heights. Any survivors have been driven north. Pakopako 02:52, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

  • February 21st your mall fell again, we're off to the other one. --Bullgod 14:13, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
  • February 15th, 2008 Just avrived at Lumber Mall. Idiots have over barricaded the entrence, and all other buildings up to six blocks away. The top corner has only 3 Humans, and 2 Zombies have broken in (I would help but I only have 1 AP). However theres 20+ of us in the south corner and the barricades are holding. A generator is hooked up to the radio but its out of fuel. Anyone who can, please help us out. --Danny Williams
  • January 31st, 2008 Joachim is almost out of food for us, the Feral Undead will be coming here for dessert.--Bullgod 02:16, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
  • January 25th, 2008 The mall is currently "owned" by pkers from two groups one of which calls itself the "columbine kids" they have killed many of the peaceful lumber mall residents. This may prove to be a move they will regret as there are not enough to repel a zombie hoard and not all the residents will give up the mall without a fight. The mall could generally be considered unsafe at the moment as the situation is unstable and the new groups who have turned up will kill indiscriminately. . -- Tonberryspoon
  • January 24th, 2008 Few lives here, mall seems to be quite empty at the moment. Can't think of why. -- Wisuguya

  • October 23th, 2007 The Fortress has recovered Lumber Mall in a blitzkrieg attack.

no. the mall has mearly fallen on hard times and will be back on its feet eventualy. im not an expert on this wiki, or its setup, but i dont think this is a discussion page. so lets keep stuff added here limited to info/updates.

mall has been breached, and will probably fall. 63 zeds inside the building, with roughly 20 survivors left.--Themonkeyman11 04:30, 26 September 2007 (BST)

LUE hit joachim mall, strong possibility that they will hit here next.--Themonkeyman11 00:25, 23 September 2007 (BST)

Completely in survivor hands. Some Z's around Josephine General Hospital, but the mall's safe. --Slicer 04:05, 21 August 2007 (BST)

Both sides are ruined, and zombies are chillin' all around the area. --Druuuuu 18:37, 14 August 2007 (BST)

Both sides at EHB. Unknown number of zombies outside. None inside. I was able to get a generator running in the North Side. xk3zofrenik11:33, 13 August (est)

Inside count is down to 1 zombie on the north side. North side is ransacked and needs repairs. South Side has been heavily barricaded. xk3zofrenik11:51, 12 August (est)

There's no barricades on the south side of the mall. Zombies outside, but not many inside (South was empty with doors open, North had 3 zeds and 3 survivors)

Update: Or maybe not. The barricades have been rebuilt. -- Mordac the Refuser 18:05, 9 August 2007 (BST)

It seems that survivors have decided to abandon the Lumber Mall, much to the annoyance of the 50+ zombies outside. -- Mordac the Refuser 17:59, 9 August 2007 (BST)

For several days now, survivors and zombies have been viciously fighting for control of the Lumber Mall. Almost all the action has been taking place inside or outside the Southern Block, which has switched sides several times over the past few days. Heavy casualties have been inflicted on both sides. -- Mordac the Refuser 19:13, 8 August 2007 (BST)

The mall is rebuilding- we just got done mopping up the brains. Barricades are now up and a measly 3 survivors inside. Come roll out your sleeping bags quick before all the good spots are gone! --Weequay2 11:30, 31 July 2007 (BST)

The end has come. No life remains. Zombies, including members of the Feral Undead and UnMod now frolic in the mall. --Priapus 17:05, 20 July 2007 (BST)

The end is near. The current assault led by the Feral Undead and UnMod has resulted in the south half being ransacked and the north half as a brain buffet.--Priapus 15:04, 20 July 2007 (BST)

The Malton Civil Defense Unit currently occupying Lumber Mall is moving out of this sector of Malton. A very large horde that is the LUE is headed this way. --Avaery 11:30, 18 July 2007 (BST)

A rather large group of zombies has been seen gathering outside of the mall; several members of the Feral Undead have been spotted amongst them. They seem to be murmuring to each other... Chauntie 17:23, 13 July 2007 (BST)

The mall has been retaken by a group of survivors. There are ~15 survivors in each section of the mall. Both sections are powered and at EHB. Erik 19:44, 10 July 2007 (BST)

The raid started by UnMod is a success. After several days of siege, Lumber Mall has fallen. The zombies are currently attacking surrounding areas. --Druuuuu 20:17, 30 June 2007 (BST)

33 zeds outside 99, 78 with 4 zeds inside, one wants to be revived and is attacking other zeds. 10 survivors only. 99, 77 has 20+ survivors and 1 zed inside.--XxPale HorsexX 00:34, 29 June 2007 (BST)

11 april 2 zeds left to kill 33 bodies 1 being revived all gens are in buildings move to attack and some can set the move to attack and lure zeds from army of fort perryn useing the mall as a attack starter and refill knowing this mall can survive a attack of 40 zeds as that is the amount in zeds+bodies lieutenant cts12345 6:19 aprail 11 (ct)

Good news the top corner has power as zeds were destroying the gens now we must reduce the zeds to bodies so they will be slowed down i got 3 zeds and got 1 to 15 hitpoints move in to attack the hored 5:04 11 April (UTC)

Yep, that's done. No zeds inside the mall anymore, but there's 23 of them standing outside the south corner. Break-ins are frequent, but so far there doesn't seem to have been much casualties. If more people got off of their lazy asses and came to help we could easily get rid of these zeds --Platinum Assassin 02:55, 10 April 2007 (BST)

You guys need somebody to kill those zeds immediately!!! I found doors open with 22 zeds outside! I closed the doors and re-barricaded, but you have 3 zeds INSIDE!!! I am a scientist, so I couldn't kill them! Hurry or you're screwed!!! modernplague 6:26 PM, 10 April (EST)

News of the stats of the mall is 19 zeds and no hope the mall will fall in about 2-4 weeks unless people come to support us 4:42, 9 april (utc)

  • I think I can translate the last message: March Seventh:Humans Are Gone, Mall is Ransacked.-- Vigeous RHA 21:22, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

  • July 29, 2007 We had the mall for a day, but it's back under siege. Not many survivors. Zombie numbers increasing. It will be back in zombie hands soon.
  • July 27, 2007 30+ zombies outside and the doors are open. Some zombies inside. This mall is contested and under attack.
  • May 10th, 2007 There are seventeen survivors left in the south side of the mall. That's not enough to protect it from the siege. without reinforcements, this mall won't be in human hands much longer.
  • April 7th, 2007 The mall is still subject to sporadic attacks and could use reinforcements.
  • March 14th, 2007 Its about time some group got organised and took this Mall back to human hands, c`mon people get your fingers out of your arses and move it down here! 20:23, 14th March 2007 (GMT)
  • January 26th, 2007 Lumber Mall is still in human hands, but the last update was a few months ago, so I thought I'd pitch in. It's now the HQ (As well as the surrounding two hospitals of Odo and Josephine) of the Lumberjacks. Pro-Human group who hunt zeds with a passion. For Freedom! --Systemshocked 22:56, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

2006

  • October 16th, 2006 Lumber and Joachim Malls have been back in human hands for some time now, with the pathway between the two malls reasonably clear as well. The biggest problem at the moment is known *Ker TheJimp doing his usual bad-guy thing. Be on the lookout for him and kill on sight. Asheets 19:51, 16 October 2006 (BST)

October 6th, 2006 Lumber mall is in human hands, with the surrounding area mostly barricaded. Both squares are at EHB with survivor presence, however the relatively low numbers of survivors in the mall and surrounding area lead to infrequent breakins by the moderate to low number of Zombies in the area.

August 4, 2006 A final push by the Apocalypse Horde breaks through into the mall and results in the annihilation of all remaining survivors. The mall falls silent save for the sound of gnawing on bones, the slow shuffle of feet, and the odd content moan.

Lumber mall is now in the hands of the undead.

August 3, 2006 The mall is looking very close to falling. From 60 to 80 survivors in each corner just a couple of days ago there are only 10 in the south and 14 in the north.

August 2, 2006: Having used a combination of assaults into the Rothwell NT building to prompt combat revives, and traitor Necrotech staff in various local survivor groups, a large potion of the Apocalypse Horde reveal that rather than having moved on, they were revived despite brainrot and then proceeded to infiltrate Lumber Mall. For several days, they have been present, gathering ammunition without anyone noticing their presence. Today, they attacked en masse and slaughtered more than sixty survivors before dispersing.

The fight for Lumber Mall continues with renewed intensity.

August 1, 2006: After more than a week of intense fighting where the status and future of the mall seemed unclear, peace descends as the the Apocalypse Horde move on towards Joachim Mall. Skirmishes occur in neighboring buildings and mall population rises.

July 26, 2006: Scout forces from the Apocalypse Horde, fresh from the slaughter at Mitchem Mall, begin to arrive and probe the Necrotech offices in the Rothwell building, and Lumber Mall itself. The primary forces begin to enter Penny Heights and the barricades start to come down.

July 18, 2006 Lumber Mall is max barricaded and cannot be entered from any direction. However, all surrounding buildings are human held, strongly barracaded, and enterable. Most have generators and/or radios. Many medics are in the area and the surrounding blocks are well manned for offensive/defensive operations.

Jan 10, 2006 1:57pm EST/7:57pm GMT Lumber mall was stormed by the group of 40+ zombies mostly from the RRF on the 9th of January 2006 ripping down the barricades and killing all inside within an hour.

Jan 9, 2006 After Christmas Sales started!!!!! South square of the mail can be entered at this time. 31 zombies inside. I managed to get off 30 searches (3 pistols, 1 shotgun and 3 first aid kids) before being attack by 3-4 zombies. Mall is surrouned with zeds in groups of 2-3, most inactive atm.

Josephine Hospital had 6 zeds outside. Shelly Grove had 5. Maddesford Square had 12.

Small groups of zeds to the north east.

G'luck and G'Shopping.
