Suggestion description
I wish to make it easier in getting rid of inactive contacts
First off, I had to add about 200 contacts not that long ago to a few characters. Manually. I then later discovered that I ran out of room and had to delete contacts I didn't need, so I could add more to avoid friendly fire incidents. However, I had no idea who was still active and who wasn't.
I want to add a new column to the contacts list - last active. In this column will show the last day the person was active, not minutes and seconds. I don't want any abuse by people trying to hunt you down. I also want an asterisk or something to denote inactive members on your list, ie people lying down hidden. This further helps with culling a list.
Not all of this is totally original, however I wanted to put a different slant on what has already been suggested and add a little bit more of my own.

- Keep - I still have Scourge members on my contact list even though the group disbanded over a year ago. Be nice to know which ones stopped playing and which ones just left it in.--Insomniac By Choice 02:19, 4 August 2007 (BST)

- Keep - It's more or less possible to do this manually by watching someone else's XP over a few days, but your way is much better. -- T 03:27, 4 August 2007 (BST)
- Keep I'd like to see a kill vote. What will they come up with?--Wooty 04:34, 4 August 2007 (BST)

- Keep --That may reveal what I am doing, but sure --Your friendly neighbourhood psychopathc, Lord Evans 19:47, 10 August 2007 (BST)
- Keep -I really like this idea Dux. My group is a very large one, and its hard to keep track of who is active and who isnt. To make room for new members on my contact list, I have to get rid of old ones, and I hate not knowing who is active and who isnt. A brilliant suggestion.--Dr Doom86 07:54, 14 August 2007 (BST)
Kill Vote
- Not a dupe, but I like Show Idle Characters better. It is more simple and I don't believe it is necessary to know the number of days of activity. Less than 5 days "active". Longer than 5 days "inactive".--Pesatyel 18:57, 4 August 2007 (BST)
- Kill - As above. --Dipcup 00:53, 11 August 2007 (BST)
- Kill - Too many abuse issues. A Pker could add survivors to his contact list on a room by room basis targeting characters about to idle out. Weekend sieges could be planned on buildings where the majority of defenders are are not logging in that weekend. If players had to be marked I would only want to see idle players labeled since the information can't be used against them. Idle player can't be attacked and are no longer visible. --Pestilent Nomad 09:47, 16 August 2007 (BST)
Spam/Dupe Votes
- Dupe. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 06:16, 4 August 2007 (BST) But here's a suggestion much more similar to this one. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 06:18, 4 August 2007 (BST)
- Dupe --Midianian 08:57, 4 August 2007 (BST)
- Dupe/Spam - The second part is a complete dupe. The first part gives you new information you don't have any ingame reason for knowing, and that you don't need if you just want this to remove inactive players. 'arm. 21:24, 4 August 2007 (BST)
- spam - but from a role-playing angle - how would your character know this? Too psychic for me. --Funt Solo 12:49, 8 August 2007 (BST)
