Suggestion scope
Zombies
Suggestion description
This is an extension of part of my suggestions on Multiple Floors. I won't go into detail, but it was basically the method in which barricade hits would be counted against stair barricades. I've decided to try and make this individual part a stand-alone suggestion to try and help zombies overcome the almost impregnable fortress that is an EHB building.
This will add a new skill, Barricade Bash (or a similar name) to the Vigour Mortis skill tree. What this will do is effectively double the zombie's chance of hitting the barricades successfully.
At the moment, any attacks on a barricade are halved in accuracy. For example, a fire axe hits for 20% instead of 40% and a zombie claw for 25% rather than 50%. This skill will remove that penalty and allow the zombie to hit the barricades at the full 50% accuracy.
In my opinion, this will remove some of the frustration of zombie players at being unable to actually get into a building to munch on some survivors and as a result make it a more fun side to play, therefore making the game more of a challenge (and also more fun) for survivors.

Keep Votes
- Keep - Author vote. -- Cheese 16:16, 4 June 2008 (BST)
- Nobody should bote on this unless they have played a zombie for atleast a month.--~~-_-~~ 17:15, 4 June 2008 (BST)
- Keep - It may not help the babahs, but that's what we experienced zeds should make it our business to do. Besides which, levelling up is about becoming a stronger player, so this can't just be given to babahs free. --The Hierophant 18:04, 4 June 2008 (BST)
Kill Votes
- Kill - This doesn't help those that need help most: bahbahz. Bahbahz won't have this skill -- but it's brand new zambahz -- but also any feral -- who have the hardest time with barricades. As much as I think barricades are overpowered vs. bahbahz and non-metagaming ferals, a straight doubling of the chance to tear them down just isn't the solution. It's way too much the other way. --WanYao 17:39, 4 June 2008 (BST)
- Kill - As WanYao. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 17:47, 4 June 2008 (BST)
- Kill - Im inclined to agree with Wan Yao here. A flat base percentage buff of 10% i could get behind, which would bring it up from about 1/4 to 1/3 (Which would have a really big morale effect on zombies), but this is over the top and doesnt help those who need it the most. --The Grimch U! - Weak kill/change - Yes zambahz should be able to get better than the current hit rates against cades, but not in a way that allows a lone zombie to consistently be able to open an EHB building every day, which is what this would mean. Breaking into an EHB building requires co-operation and I'd like it to stay that way. What I would be in favour of is occasional lucky hits that cause huge damage to cades, e.g. 0.4% chance to do 5HP damage. That adds up to an 8% boost, close to the figure Grimch suggested. --Explodey 18:41, 4 June 2008 (BST)
- Kill - I could get behind a bit of an increase, but I still believe that the current zombie-survivor balance is pretty even. Billy Club Thorton T! RR 19:46, 4 June 2008 (BST)
Spam/Dupe Votes
- Spam - no thanks to uber-buff. If zombies attack as a group, the EHB isn't a problem. --Funt Solo QT 17:55, 4 June 2008 (BST)
- Hahahahahahaha, you have obvioulsy never been in a zombie strike team. I remember one time in Mall Tour 07 when thirty zombies, yes there were thirty of us in the IRC were stopped by one active barricader. Secondly, that is a ridiculous argument. You are bascially saying that zombies should be forced to crowd into IRC rooms to get any kills. That is stupid. Seriously Funt, I used to think you knew your shit, bit over the months your votes in suggestions have sometimes made absolutely no sense.--KOOKY 18:26, 4 June 2008 (BST) - Non author re formatted correctly and struck. --The Grimch U!
