Proactive Redesign

Humorous Suggestions Voting 1

Suggestion: Change the votes to be not bunched up as they are, but each in a line. Example:

Before: UnfunnyVotes= Right... Some Guy's Evil Twin 08:18, 24 April 2006 (BST) Uh, no. Example Guy 23:59 20 December, 2006 (BST) Hah. Hah. Hah. Paige Example 24:63 31 February 2006 (BST)

Sounds good to me. It's always bothered me about this page, because at times it can be hard to distinguish whose comments are whose. Then there's also the fact that the votes can be harder to count (an important task that must be done occassionally since many forget to update the tally when they vote)the way they are now. --Reaper with no name 17:29, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

DrPain, I'd like to break up the jovial nature of this suggestion and your hitlerfest to ask a serious question. The rash on your mom's ass - I want to know, is it some sort of venereal disease that I'll need to see a doctor about? I noticed it after banging her last night. Oh yay, now accusing me of being a sock puppet. I am not the above user. I've already been accused of being Kamikaze-Bunny as well in the past. And I'm not Kamikaze-Bunny or Zaphod Beeblebros. For one thing, I don't swear. I do want all of this to stop though. The Talk:Suggestions page is not the place for any of this. I haven't bothered to respond to any of this because I'm trying to stay out of it, but I am considering bringing this to arbitration since no one else seems to be doing anything except making a flame war.

But since we're on this subject anyway, what is the point of deluging this wiki with ridiculous suggestions which are clearly mockeries of suggestions I make? If you're not serious about this, then the only reason you're doing this is to be a troll yourself. Grow up and stop acting like this. --Tselita 19:53, 2 June 2008 (BST)

Why do I find it unsurprising that you would equate my legitimate suggestions to a clearly mocking suggestion? Fine, if this is a serious suggestion, put it up for a vote. You won't because it would be spammed as 'Humorous' --Tselita 14:59, 3 June 2008 (BST)

Humorous Suggestions Voting 2

Currently, the Humorous Suggestions voting format is a mess. All the votes bunch together, and it's next to impossible to see what comments go with what signature, and it's even harder to count. This is what it's like, curently:

I propose that the voting template be changed so each vote has a line, and is preceded by the number sign.

Mark, if at first you don't succeed, try, try and try again. But do some tests on your talk page or something, if you're scared of breaking already established pages - and use the preview function. To be honest, I'd rather not have any votes there at all. I mean, what I find funny someone else won't. Humour is very subjective. --Toejam 19:13, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

4.  Yes - I've been adding "<br/>&nbsp;" at the beginning of each line to make it more obvious which line of comment belong to me, but it would be nicer not to have to. --Richardhg 11:58, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
