Would mostly be a game of maneuvering, trying to stay out of groups, moving to others mostly to make them vulnerable. Cooperation would be fairly common, but an unimaginable level of mistrust would prevail (be sure to make clear that betrayal is perfectly acceptable). You could orchestrate an alliance with A, B, and C, intended to dissolve when all foes are eliminated, agree with A to betray B and C when really aligned with B and C to betray A, except you're also aligned with C to betray B once A is dead, and once only you, C, and D (who you aren't aligned with) remain, you could betray C by killing him right when he moves to D to let you kill D, and only then kill D. Madness!

Will there be a second of these? With one event over and another in progress, there is perhaps enough material to set it up and it might bolster attendance at future events. At any rate, it seems fairly low maintenance and it couldn't hurt. --{{User:A.schwan/sig}} Sunday, 4 December 2011

I like the ideas of all of Rattle Royale, Murder in the Dark and Duck Hunt.
What seems impossible to me is The Safehouse. No sane competitor would leave the safehouse except for extremely short bursts of stocking up/looking for kills, making it a matter of pure luck to get any kills that aren't reversed. Wouldn't surprise me if that event would even end with a clean sheet for everyone. Or do I misunderstand something? -- Spiderzed 17:57, 21 August 2010 (BST)

Personally I think once someone gets on kill, it will be game on. Either that or the safehouse is changed each week. Dont know. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 17:59, 21 August 2010 (BST)
Have a rule stating that the safehouse is rendered null and void any time there are, say, four/five or more contestents inside at any one time. When the number drops below that it's still a safehouse, at or above the cut-off, it's just another building. They never lynch children, babies—no matter what they do they are whitewashed in advance 18:47, 7 September 2010 (BST)
Fuck thats an elaborate thought. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 18:48, 7 September 2010 (BST)

Event listing

How does one suggest an event for the Manhunt Marathon? Are you accepting applicants? If so I'd like to officially enter Red October. It will occur conveniently close to Rage in the Age, starting on October 25th and running through November 7th. It will also occur in suburbs very close to Rage in the Age, in the East Grayside/Wray heights area.~Vsig.png 16:42, 7 September 2010 (BST)

let me look over the event, but i don't see why not.--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 18:30, 7 September 2010 (BST)

Possible addition

Could you add my manhunt to the list of future events? I've been alive for too long and would rather have a little challenge, hence the creation of my manhunt. It's sorta like the Mudkip Hunt that Axe Hack started.--Sam 2334 21:53, 19 October 2010 (BST)

A series of suggestions

Thunder Dome

A kill based or elimination manhunt. Twist:

  • If one attacks another contestant, they cannot move until:
    • Either contestant contestant dies.
    • The contestant who did not attack moves.

Two men enter! One man leaves!

War of Disinformation

An elimination manhunt. Twist:

  • You cannot attack fellow contestants.
  • The manhunt is closed to the public. Only participants may know who is participating and where it takes place. A forum shall be set up for the manhunt.
  • You can spraypaint, broadcast, or otherwise communicate in-game that other contestants are DCs, PKers, etc.
    • You cannot mention the manhunt in any context.

No Witnesses

An elimination manhunt over a very small area, preferably a fort or large island. Twist:

  • You cannot kill another contestant if a contestant other than you and your victim is present.

Would mostly be a game of maneuvering, trying to stay in a big group, moving mostly to leave others alone and thus vulnerable. As the game progresses and contestants are fewer, it becomes more and more dangerous, with less groups to hide amongst.

Russian Roulette

This concept has been scouteric approved.
