New Here? Read Me First
First of all, welcome to the BAR!
Second, and this is important, if you really want to contact the BAR and expect a response in a reasonable amount of time we recommend that you post on the BAR's group forum instead. Why? Because only Caleb Usher (aka Mobius187) hangs around here often enough to spot posts and he's not even with the BAR! So we strongly encourage you to drop by the forum. As we allow Guest access you don't even need to sign-up. How cool is that? Very.
- However, several BAR members are now somewhat wiki active. If you try to contact us here, rest assured, we will notice, but we make no promises on how long that will actually take. If you want a speedy response, our forum is the way to go.
If you must post here be advised that all BAR patrons are asked to post their comments in the section best suited to their topic. Any topic that you have no idea where it should be placed should end up under "Generic Topics". The BAR holds the right to later move that topic anywhere it pleases, including deleting it, especially if it's old and no longer relevant. Important old topics may later be archived, but for now they don't. Always post the newest topics at the top of each section.

Hello BAR
My preference is to maintain a non-target policy with your group. However, during this Hang 'Em High event I think we're going to drop that. Just fair warning. I will suggest to the others in BCH that only BAR members that are actually participating in Hang 'Em High be targeted. Some BCH members are more...volatile than others though and I cant guarantee what they will do all do, nor am I interested in trying to give orders to anyone. We don't have any bosses over here. We'll see where things go I suppose.--DeWolf 03:57, 9 June 2010 (BST)
- I must say, that's awfully sporting of you to notify the BAR of this turn of events. I mean, I naturally assumed this would happen when certain members joined in the Hang 'Em High competition, but it's always good to know for certain. Now the BAR doesn't often check here, but I'll re-post this comment on their forum, in their Regulars (group members) section. Then those BAR members who would rather not get involved can take a short trip elsewhere during the competition's month to avoid any unwanted fallout. If you would prefer to contact the BAR directly though, for a more official response, please post to their forum (if you have not done so already). --Mobius 12:54, 9 June 2010 (BST)
- Thanks for the heads up. It is only natural that you shoot back, but extending a courtesy to the rest of my group is some classy behavior. Just why is it that you don't get along with the DA?--Mrgomez 17:49, 9 June 2010 (BST)
- I shall third the thanks for warning us ahead of time. I'd to agree with Gomez and say that I have no problem with you guys, this is nothing personal to me, so retaliation from you is understandable. However, keeping it only to participants would be a good idea, methinks.--Tyx94 21:58, 9 June 2010 (BST)

Request for Aid
We see that you are members of the Malton Uprising, and therefor opponents of tyranny and oppression. We wish to bring your attention to another case of tyranny and oppression. The Imperium, which also is a member of the Uprising, has launched three attacks now on the Gibsonton Squatters, without any bloodshed from the Squatters in return. These attacks have been aimed to silence our voices and drive us from the suburb they seek hegemony over. We are badly outnumbered and fighting to save ourselves from total destruction. This is exactly the kind of action the Malton Uprising was meant to oppose. We beg you, as free people, to oppose this action, either by cutting ties with the Imperium or by aiding us in our struggle for autonomy and liberty from their rule.--Fenian 03:41, 5 April 2010 (BST)
- Please note that the Squatters have been harassing us for some time using intentionally inflammatory rhetoric and outright insults, and that they were the first to threaten war if we did not accede to their ridiculous and humiliating demands listed on the Imperium's talk page (toward the bottom of the "Murder" section).--Scott Timewell Imperium CFT 03:41, 5 April 2010 (BST)
- Please note that their first murder was before our rhetoric became more confrontational, and that we have never harmed an Imperium member. We believe in free speech, and having been murdered more than once by this group for our exercise of our speech, our demands were nothing less than reasonable. Such thuggery cannot be condoned. --Fenian 05:01, 5 April 2010 (BST)
- If this is still going on, you should contact us at our forum, listed above. I cannot speak for the group here. However, I will offer my opinion. War between survivors groups is stupid. STUPID. You waste time and resources over petty arguments. I've already looked into what happened. Both groups are in the wrong. Kiss, make up, and get over it. Again, if this is already done with, I suppose I just wasted 2 minutes. But both groups are free to contact the BAR on our forum. --Tyx94 01:53, 25 April 2010 (BST)

I have to agree. Besides, sometimes things can blow out of proportion during the ecstasy of the moment. As I have experienced, wars between two survivor groups are not only stupid like Tyx said, but they also go nowhere.Leo Leonardo III 23:34, 20 May 2010 (BST)

Finch Monument revive point in Santlerville
Recently I've heard that the Finch Monument revive point is not in use anymore. So, are you guys still maintaining it? And, are you still operating in Santlerville at all? I think I only see the Dribbling Beavers members there. -- Kittithaj 15:56, 3 July 2009 (BST)
J.R. "Bob" Dobbs
Hello. I noticed that your "Wise Survivor" advertisement had a picture of my messiah on it. I just wanted to say that that's pretty cool. Thanks. He's a great guy. Maybe we can drink together sometime. My cronies and I operate the Brookes Arms, near where the Mall Tour currently is. My main reason for posting here was commendation. I'm a big fan.--Bishop Vagancia I 22:50, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hello J.R., if you really want a conversation with the BAR I highly recommend dropping by their forum. There are mostly just tumbleweeds drifting through their Talk wikipage. And me. I'm sure the BAR would be more than happy to chat and have a couple of rounds with you, so drop on by the forum so they can get to know you better. :) --Mobius 23:48, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Sure. I'll try. But for future reference, J.R. is the man depicted in the afore mentioned image. Thanks for the speedy response!--Bishop Vagancia I 23:59, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ah! All I ever remember is the "Church of the SubGenius". :P --Mobius 01:13, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well, some people remember cults, others just remember the leaders. I won't hold it against ya.--Bishop Vagancia I 04:07, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- I just checked out your page. So you were the one using the image. He's a handsome guy, isn't he? Don't worry, I added the appropriate copyright information (as Mr. Dobbs' face and image is copyrighted by his own company and the Church). You're quite busy on the Wiki. It looks like you built an eighth of it yourself. I'm impressed. Well, like I said, thanks for letting me know where the Regulars can be reached. Talk to you later.--Bishop Vagancia I 04:26, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ha-ha. I was wondering if I should have mentioned I was using the same glorious face. While I would like to take credit for everything on the UD Wiki, I will limit my fame to all the NT buildings, Malton Rail, NecroWatch, Rhodenbank, Dulston, Rolt Heights, Pescdoside, and some of Dunningwood (as I best recall). There were a few other spots, here and there, but those are the major attractions outside of group wikipages. I hope you get in touch with the BAR. :) --Mobius 14:50, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- I will contact them very soon. Plus, I'm signed up for Biertag, another of your great ideas. Quick question: Are you "of the faith" or just a humble admirer? If you are the former, I created template for you. I expected to be the only one to use it, because SubGenii are rather rare (31,800 worldwide by May 30, 2005 and about 40,000 today).
- While I can appreciate that the BAR do not really use their Talk wikipage that often, I think it would be better to move this conversation elsewhere. Unless you want to talk about the BAR. Then I think it's fine. Ah yes, Biertag. That is on-topic oddly enough, strange how I missed it. I wanted to do something to advance the cause of beer in Malton. I'm expecting I shall need to turn-up advertising efforts if I'm to get the same crowd as back in 2007. Of course back then I was a diplomat for various groups, so I had the contacts. To answer your second question, I must regretfully admit I am not one of the faithful, but I do respect the Church of the Subgenius. It was always something I was "aware" of, through chance encounters, but never explored. --Mobius 12:47, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- I had a feeling this was being off-topic and cluttered, but at least it's being used. You can move it where ever you feel that it is relevent. I won't do any prosyletizing without a request. As for Biertag, I think it's a great idea. I think I may take my entire small gang on the main pilgrimage this year. I can't wait. And it's so close to X-Day. If the world doesn't end this year either, it'll be perfect (although the world's continued existence will be a dissapointment, all that partying in a week is bound to feel great).--Bishop Vagancia I 17:24, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- If you and your group are interested in dropping by for Biertag, I always encourage signing the Beer Pledge. :) --Mobius 12:25, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- I'm gonna talk to my members and see what they think. Two of them are dead, so communication might be difficult. Even more so now that our group frequency seems to have been poached with notification. But I'm really looked forward to July. You'll be there? I thought you had retired from in-game interaction. Did I read incorrectly?--Bishop Vagancia I 00:30, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- I sign the list for... sentimental reasons. But no, I will not actually be there in person. However I will be the one who creates the new historic wikipage for this year's event. I would encourage that should you, and/or your group members, participate please take screenshots (iWitness reports even) of the party events (i.e. conversations, ect). I find that screenshots really help people remember an event. --Mobius 21:24, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- That's too bad. As for screenshots, I've never taken one. Any programs that you might suggest?--Bishop Vagancia I 22:41, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre 2009
Hi there, folks. I know this may seem a rather strange request, but it's for all groups, regardless of size, to help keep the wiki up to date. --D.E.ATalk 18:39, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- No problem. I'm here signing in for every group I know is active... and while I'm not with them I am in contact with their members. So, I can confirm the BAR is active. --Mobius 19:53, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

You guys
Awww, you guys are so cute...war against The Streltsy. Seriously? Can we keep you guys, it's so adorable, you's guy's thinkin' you's can actually fight a war <33. --
- War against you guys too if you don't mind your own affairs. They wanted a war so we're giving them a war. Leo Leonardo III 18:06, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
- Do you live in a vacuum? The Colonel is Streltsy. Also, you can't declare war on us. We declared it first. --Moctezuma The Streltsy 01:07, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- In all seriousness can you really blame him for not knowing who The Colonel is, I mean I'm still trying to determine who The Streltsy are... are you guys by any chance associated with a real PKer group like Red Rum? Also what is the connection to the Mona Lisa? And how would living in a vacuum result in someone lacking information? Actually, you know what, I have better things to do than trying to figure this all out. --Mobius 12:35, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- Knowing is half the battle, and I am afraid...you just lost half the battle. Good day to you kind sir. (soft distant GI JOE music plays) -- 15:54, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- And yet, as this chart clearly shows, the other 50% of the battle is comprised primarily of both red and blue lasers, which I can confirm the BAR has in spades. I highly doubt the same can be said about the Streltsy, who historically used the arquebus, a firearm that did not utilize lasers of any colour. Therefore the BAR has claimed 50% victory in this confrontation.

- Yet another thrilling episode of Talk:Burchell Arms Regulars! --Mobius 18:13, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- So that puts us both at 50% victory. Or it would if it weren't for the fact that they've only killed us three times and we've killed them eight times. There must be some malfunctioning with their lasers. EDIT: As of a few minutes ago, we've killed them ten times. Also, I noticed another Streltsy is dead at the moment, so they appear to have killed us four times. --Moctezuma The Streltsy 00:14, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- In all honesty the BAR doesn't use their multi-coloured lasers. If G.I. Joe has taught us anything about lasers it's that they're highly ineffective against living targets. So I doubt they will make an appearance during this conflict. However, like nukes, having this arsenal secures a certain degree of victory (estimated at 50%) even if they're never utilized. Be sure to let me know if you feel deterred by this fact to any degree. --Mobius 12:11, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- No, a zombie ate me. Then I did the nasty and got revived at BAR's own RP ;) -- 01:50, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- Interestingly enough I read about the revive, as I'm the forum admin over at the BAR. Now my question is, was the zombie a member of the BAR? I don't recall if the BAR allows ZKing or not, like the Dulston Alliance does. As for the revive, what can I say (that won't sound like an outright lie) but the BAR was feeling generous. --Mobius 12:11, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

YOU ARE NOT PREPARED
Hello BAR members, I would like to announce that your group is first on my list of people who stand in my way of eradicating the life out of this town, I'll be seeing you, but you won't see me...until it's too late. User:Pathetic Bill X January 8, 2010
- Seriously? Leave us alone. --User:Justin91 Feb 22
- "...I'll be seeing you, but you won't see me..."? The only concern I have is that Pathetic Bill X is hinting he's invisible, which would indicate he is the Invisible Man! The worrying part here is due to the fact that the invisible man himself was invisible, but his clothing wasn't. Hence the necessity for him to shed his clothes in order to become truly become invisible... which implies that Pathetic Bill X is in fact running around naked. And that, sir, is simply uncalled for! --Mobius 16:00, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- Dude you're right i've been back a few days now... and I haven't seen your sorry ass. I thought you were going to hit us where we live? Afraid cause the leader is back in town? --Leo Leonardo III 02:19, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Alliance Requests
Big Damn Heroes
We are located in a factory at 82,19 in lovely Rolt Heights, only 8 blocks to the west of your grand establishment. I am inquriing about the possibility of forming a mutual alliance between our groups as it seems a logical pair as we could provide mutual support in time of need. We recently declared Legends of Darkness members KOS as we needed some fun. Other than that we look to keep Rolt Heights free of Zombie hordes and keep peace in the area and help those in need out as we can in the surrounding neighborhoods. We await your reply. --marrion barry 20:53, 4 March 2010 (CST)

David Faust Only Impersonates Illuminati
Hello, BAR! I was just perusing the wiki when I stumbled upon your page and noted that David Faust is identified as Illuminati. Alas, Mr. Faust's is impersonating a member of this group and is not a member; he is (or was) in Angels of Mercy - a group whose members all appear to be dead now. I hope this clarifies things.
