first impressions
There seem to be categories of clothing, so shoes are in a different category from ties etc. There must be at least six categories. --Toejam 00:22, 1 June 2007 (BST)

- The lack of American Football jerseys in this game is a clear indication of the unfair British bias in this game. These silly soccer jerseys won't stay together when a zombiefied linebacker nails you with Feeding Drag. Plus I miss wearing shoulder pads; it makes falling on the ground just a tad easier. Also, if I can't find any Nike-brand Trainers, I'm going to lose my sponsorship contract. --Sexy Rexy Grossman 23:01, 1 June 2007 (BST)

ok so buildings that havent been reported, (im guessing because they have nothing) are as follows

I find it unlikely that there would be no clothing in hotels and motels. I am sure that there is much abandoned luggage. I also think that school uniforms should be found in schools. - Yeah, I'm a little confused myself. A possible location besides the hockey mask could be Kilingback Cinema in Danversbank. When unpowered, the description reads: "You are inside Kilingback Cinema, its dark lobby decorated with posters for a 1930s vampire film". When a generator is available, the description becomes "You are inside Kilingback Cinema, a 1930s vampire film playing on its main screen". The film is, of course, Bela Lugosi's Dracula. You know, I think all of these items are a great opportunity to create a few sub-building types. Such as one or two drama schools, a police academy, fire academy, a few collages etc. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 16:25, 7 June 2007 (BST)
- That would be cool. We should ask how much work that would be. Then if this has run it's course we could start suggesting small changes in the map into that vain.-- Vista +1 16:29, 7 June 2007 (BST)
- It's not too much work, and it's something I've been wanting to start tinkering with for a while - I'm just a bit wary of messing up references in other places (particularly third-party maps, and groups who've built a lot of backstory around a particular building), if blocks suddenly start being renamed and repurposed.
- Maybe it'd be okay if I was only changing buildings which had neither inhabitants nor Google results, but for anything more than adding "Drama" in front of "School", I should probably implement a canonical in-game city map first. --Kevan 16:53, 7 June 2007 (BST)

Damage to zombie's clothes
Is it true that clothes worn by zombies don't take any damage when they are killed? I think it is quite strange seeing my human alts with bloodstained and cracked chlothes when they die once and my zombie alt runs around with perfectly clean clothing after dying 10 times and more.
Maybe this is to avoid all zombie clothing to degenerate to rags, but it's very strange nonetheless.--Dr. Guedner
- I think zombie clothes can get scuffed or torn when the zombie is killed, but do not get blood stained. Which make sense, as zombies do not bleed; all the blood is clotted, which is what causes rigor mortis (and, one assumes, vigor mortis).
However, I play a zombie with brain rot who does indeed have bloodstained clothing. Its just not HIS blood. Zombie clothes get bloody when the zombie kills a survivor. . . . swiers 15:01, 1 July 2007 (BST)

A-HA! Was just hit by a better way to do this: Combined the notes sections from each {{SpecialClothes}} listed at Clothes#Special Clothes into a notes table below the templates, and put the bottom margin on that table. Special Clothes now almost exactly resembles a {{Clothes}} block, apart from the order of the clothing... but that's for chronological reasons, I'm sure. —Revenant talk 14:54, 8 July 2007 (BST)
Sneaky clothes update
I've just found some pieces of neckwear which aren't on the list in St. Matthew's Cathedral. They're the following:
- a crucifix neclace
- a set of rosary beads
- a silver medallion of Saint Matthew
I don't know if they're in the other cathedrals as well, so I've decided to post it here. --Havelock 13:14, 24 August 2007 (BST)
- Awesome! More clothes implemented. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 03:17, 25 August 2007 (BST)
- Apparently. I've just actualized Mall section. --Havelock 09:20, 25 August 2007 (BST)
They were implemented very sneakingly about 1-3 weeks ago. Looks like i'll need to make another voyage to update all stuff. p.s. there are rumours of another "hidden store" - this time footware, in stickling. but apperently stickling is ransacked right now, so i'm not able to check --~~~~T''' 09:41, 25 August 2007 (BST)
- Toe tags for footwear and nurse's gown for shirts (for shirts?) in Hospitals and Fort Infirmaries --~~~~T''' 10:45, 25 August 2007 (BST)
- Toe tags also in NTs and NTs have more shoes
- Fort Vehicle Depot, possibly Auto Shops/Factories/Power Stations too: a pair of steel toe-capped boots, black and brown boots --~~~~T''' 11:00, 25 August 2007 (BST)
- a crucifix neclace & set of rosary beads in all churches. Looks like a silver medallion of <name> are named stuff for cathedrals, just like mall shirts, fort tags and power station overalls --~~~~T''' 21:33, 25 August 2007 (BST)
- a grey short-sleeved shirt in NT buildings --Havelock 16:43, 26 August 2007 (BST)
- ankh necklaces, a studded leather collars and <colour> stiletto heels in all malls --~~~~T''' 17:20, 26 August 2007 (BST)
- I just found an emerald necklace in Alner Mansion, which I can't see listed on the clothes page anywhere (I'm not sure if it's unique to Alner, as none of my characters are near any other mansions) --Matt Spencer CDF 11:05, 18 September 2007 (BST)
Where Can I Get White Robes?
OK, I've read that white robes have been implemented (Clothes/Implemented#White_Robes, Clothes/Suggestions#Whites_Robes) but I can't find them. Anyone know where these can be found? Clay5x 12:27, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hm... they didn't appear in Cathedrals, they didn't appear in puppet museums... strange. i'll leave Kevan a message on his talk page --~~~~ [talk] 13:55, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- Ha-ha, i found white robes. --~~~~ [talk] 21:24, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
- So does anyone know any way to pick these up as a survivor, rather than starting with them as a zombie? I've seen plenty of white robes in churches and religious institutions, like these, these, these, and these. --Clay5x 03:17, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Never mind. Just checked Kevan's talk page, he says they were supposed to appear in cathedrals and the bug is fixed now, in case anyone else was wondering. --Clay5x 03:23, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
