Mobile phone masts, when powered, allow survivors to use mobile phones to leave messages for those on their Contacts List. Masts are attached to the top of the taller buildings in Malton, including Towers, Churches, Hotels, Libraries, Museums, and the generic office buildings.
A mast without power has the following description: There is a mobile-phone mast on the roof of the building. Setting up and fuelling a generator inside the tower changes the description to: On the roof of the building, the lights of a mobile-phone mast blink against the sky.
