Gibsonton is a suburb of Malton, located in the northeast section of the city. One of the more important buildings within the suburb is Oram Walk PD, which was considered one of the most prominent safe houses in the early days following the initial outbreak. Home of St. Matthew's Cathedral.

Before the Outbreak, Gibsonton was a depressing working class district, with several factories and warehouses. A Cathedral had long stood that served the workers who lived here, and a number of pubs opened up to give them a place to chill after a long day of work. After the 1980s, few factories remained, and the local officials turned to tax incentives for white collar jobs and tourism, the latter which centered around the beautiful Cathedral and newly opening museums as attractions. The pubs continued to make good business, now with higher prices for the tourists, but the pub-owners maintained lower prices for the blue-collar locals, who would mug the tourists and confess their vices the next morning in the Cathedral.

At least 41 zombies on the streets. Breakdown of the Tactical Resource Points:

  • 3 NecroTechs: 1 powered, 2 not.
  • 2 Police depts: 1 powered, 1 not.
  • 4 hospitals: 3 powered, 1 not.
  • 2 factories: 1 powered, 1 ruined.
  • 3 auto repairs: 1 powered, 2 not.

There is some ruination in the southwest of the suburb, but it's localized; the rest of the suburb is mostly powered. The vast majority of the zombies are in the western half of the suburb. Alongside the evidence of the recent EMR, this indicates a Moderate danger level. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 20:22, 30 September 2008 (BST)

Updating suburb status to orange as per this statement and horde size of 66 that would qualify as Orange with a hostile group of 50 or more active in the suburb. As an update on breaches status, St. Matthew's Cathedral currently has last count eight beasts inside but barricades are up, Oram Walk PD has been reclaimed as have Morgane Auto Repair and the Warehouse one south of said Auto Shop. In western Gibsonton Larnach Bank still remains in ruins and as a dark building needs a generator to be fixed.--Garviel LokenMaltesecross2.jpgNo Pity! No Remorse! No Fear!
