Heytown is a suburb of Malton, located to the east of the city. Heytown used to be the rail nexus for the East of the city, with six stations once able to take you anywhere in Malton. Now, the large number of rail tracks in the city just mean several large areas of gravelly wasteland, with many abandoned or burnt-out boxcars housing unfortunate survivors or nests of zombies. However, some of the unused sidings were turned into parks, meaning there are four of them where even now, on a hot day, survivors or zombies can find somewhere to lie down, relax and throw around a frisbee or femur, respectively.

Before the zombie infestation, the Malton City Council invested heavily in an urban renewal project in Heytown after urban decay and a decline in tourism had made the suburb a less than attractive spot to visit, and created four major museums inside the suburb: the Craske Museum with its impressive display of African art in SE Heytown; the Bowles Museum, located in NE Heytown - just follow the signs; The Syms Museum; and The Tudgay Museum.

The topography of Heytown divides it into 2 main clusters of resource buildings. In the SE corner of Heytown lies the Craske Triangle containing The Usher Building, Goldney Place Police Department, and Cornelius General Hospital all surrounding The Craske Museum. Along the Northern edge of the suburb lies Sixtus General Hospital and Chaffey Alley Police Department that have been absorbed into the Dowdney Mall complex. In between these resource building clusters lies a mixture of office buildings and open spaces that are not of much interest to survivors or zombies but prove a good place to hide for anti-social hermits.

Resetting status to Dangerous. There's a horde of about eighty zombies outside Dewes NT, next to the mall. --Bob Boberton TF / DW 21:09, 1 June 2009 (BST)

Just made had a quick walk around the suburb including the Crask triangle, Chaffey PD, and Sixtus Hospital. I saw no no break-ins and all the barracades seemed at full. I have just updated the Danger Level from Very Dangerous to Safe. DangerDan 16:52, 1 June 2009 (BST)

The Usher Building collapsed under the attack from about fifty zombies. Most of the horde consisted of the Dead Bunnies and Undeadites, along with some ferals. It was truly a slaughter. -- Kittithaj 21:17, 7 May 2009 (BST)

After two days of fierce siege, Cornelius General Hospital fell to the zombies. With nothing to deter them, the dead shambles on into Heytown. They're now knocking on the doors of the Usher Building. Other surrounding buildings are damaged as well. -- Kittithaj 20:17, 6 May 2009 (BST)

Heytown is being attacked in a pincer maneuver. To the East, zombies are moving in from Spracklingbank. However, they are stopped at Cornelius General Hospital. To the North, Dead Bunnies members are coming from Santlerville. They have more success in occupying the Chaffey Alley Police Department. -- Kittithaj 17:25, 3 May 2009 (BST)

NecroWatchDevice-Shadow.png NecroWatch

NecroWatch reported in from The Usher Building. The scan revealed 14 zombies within the scanning range of the facilities, after accounting for scan overlaps. Of those numbers, 2 zombies were at St. Miltiades's Church. The remaining zombies were scattered across the area posing no serious threat.
