Heytown is a suburb of Malton, located to the east of the city. Heytown used to be the rail nexus for the East of the city, with six stations once able to take you anywhere in Malton. Now, the large number of rail tracks in the city just mean several large areas of gravelly wasteland, with many abandoned or burnt-out boxcars housing unfortunate survivors or nests of zombies. However, some of the unused sidings were turned into parks, meaning there are four of them where even now, on a hot day, survivors or zombies can find somewhere to lie down, relax and throw around a frisbee or femur, respectively.

Before the zombie infestation, the Malton City Council invested heavily in an urban renewal project in Heytown after urban decay and a decline in tourism had made the suburb a less than attractive spot to visit, and created four major museums inside the suburb: the Craske Museum with its impressive display of African art in SE Heytown; the Bowles Museum, located in NE Heytown - just follow the signs; The Syms Museum; and The Tudgay Museum.

The topography of Heytown divides it into 2 main clusters of resource buildings. In the SE corner of Heytown lies the Craske Triangle containing The Usher Building, Goldney Place Police Department, and Cornelius General Hospital all surrounding The Craske Museum. Along the Northern edge of the suburb lies Sixtus General Hospital and Chaffey Alley Police Department that have been absorbed into the Dowdney Mall complex. In between these resource building clusters lies a mixture of office buildings and open spaces that are not of much interest to survivors or zombies but prove a good place to hide for anti-social hermits.

The Usher Building is back in survivor hands after having been ruined yesterday according to the report below, currently EHB and only a token force of 13 zombies outside. Sprinklings of 1 or two zombies in other nearby blocks, roughly equal ratio of ruined to caded to powered buildings. Local cemetery queue stands at 13. Moderate conditions for survivors. -- User:The Rooster RoosterDragon User talk:The Rooster 16:51, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

The Fall of the House of Usher... erm... the ruining of Usher NT and surrounding structures may be a portent of things to come for Heytown. Namely, the arrival of zombies from Mall Tour 2009, still furious over the fact Dowdney Mall has exhausted its stock of brains. --WanYao 00:51, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
