East Boundwood is a suburb of Malton, located in the north of the city and along the easternmost bank of the River Kevan. East Boundwood contains the western half of the Southall Mansion and the northern half of Bale Mall. Prior to the outbreak, East Boundwood was known as one of the less successful suburbs, since urban decay had managed to make much of the land junkyards and wastelands.

January 6th

Bright news today: the Carner Way Police Department has resumed activities for the first time since the outbreak of the zombie plague. Captain Video, on sabbatical since before the outbreak, returned to find that everyone else was gone and somebody had eaten his jar of pickles in the fridge, and somebody else had eaten one of the lieutenants. The CWPD has a generator, with fuel, but no radio transmitter. Due to a current lack of manpower, ammunition and zombie fightning know-how, the department is at present confining its duties to issuing parking tickets all the abandoned cars, except the ones on fire. Details to follow. -CaptainVideo 07:05, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

December 5th

The NE corner of Southhall mansion has fallen and there are gourps of 5-8 zombies at each block in a 3 block radius. They also dropped Martha General and Rolls PD to the NE. Survivors advised to keep the cades at EHB ~ Todreich

December 5th

Extinction has crossed over from West Boundwood, hitting Challenger PD and the hospitals on the way to sacking Sheppard NT in the town's SE corner. All prospective residents are advised that much of the town lies in ruins with a large feral zombie population roaming its streets. --Zeug 07:28, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

December 2nd

External Military: "... crossing East Boundwood now, can see a hundred or so down there ... mostly just small groups ... a few buildings with lights on ... heavy structural damage ... Bale Mall has definitely fallen ..." --Zeug 16:03, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Zack just took back Bale Mall. Overconfident survivors (and the odd infiltrator) have led to a horde of 60+ ripping through the Mall. Some people have fled to nearby buildings, no mention of retaking the mall yet. A good time to start 'cading and gathering supplies elsewhere. Informant 18:57, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

October 24th

Large amount of zombies in suburb, 30 or so alone are attacking NE Bale Mall, rest scattered across other key buildings. Survivors generally very well holed up, most buildings rebuild very quickly after being dropped. Mostly ferals, but it'll hit the fan if the Zeds start organising their attacks. Sleeping outside is a death sentence. Still very dangerous Informant 20:01, 24 October 2008 (BST)

October 4th

At least 42 zombies in the suburb, with 6 of those inside Bale Mall (north). Nearly all of the Tactical Resource Points are ruined, excepting a single PD (which is without power). Most of the remaining suburb is also in ruins. Very dangerous. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 17:30, 4 October 2008 (BST)

Groups operating in the area

  • Good day 'ol chaps. /zom/ has recently relocated to the lovely southall mansion and have opened a revive point at the junkyard north of the lovely mansion. Tea and crumpets are now being surved at 10AM and 2PM daily. beeng
  • The NecroInquisition have recently established a base at [48,9]St.Philips Church--Dnaguy 18:38, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
  • The Grave Diggers have gathered in East Boundwood after the recent fall of Ackland Mall in Havercroft. Congregating in a secret lair within the suburb., this elite unit has succeeded in spurring the first full retaking of Bale Male since the Mall Tour '07 passed through in March.
  • West and East Boundwood are apocryphally held to be the hometown of Sniperwulf the leader of the Undying Scourge. During the Scourge's early raids, he went by the title "Zombie Lord of all Boundwood", though the history of the Scourge seems to indicate that he has since moved on to greener pastures.
  • A new group has made the CCPD cop shop it's home, CCPD Family, and are working together to keep the CCPD, St. Jude's, Sheppard and other buildings safe.--Aphaythea 01:48, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
  • The Brothers C.E.R. were located in this suburb, but recently left after attacking Bale Mall, killing three PKers.
  • Ghetto Cow hangs around their HQ and supports each other...and stuff. Secret stuff.
  • Lets get down to it Boppers.. The Warriors have recently expanded their fortress/safehouse slightly, which is now overlapping into the suburb by a couple of buildings. Just because we're wearing our colours doesnt mean we're at war; all of you are welcome within our walls. Looking good East Boundwood, real good.
  • Sanitarium are in town to break things. All your flashing lights intrigued us. Like a festive invitation to search for PAI! Will you be our friends?
